The silicone mask is also very nice. It keeps light out better then the cloth masks you get with similar products and doesn't break after one use. There still a little light under the nose but certainly not enough visible to see someone clearly. It's tight if you have a big head, though. It fits just fine on my average head, just a little tug of fitting so it doesn't shift. It likely won't come off during use due to the material, but along that same vein, it doesn't breathe. Your eyes will get sweaty and uncomfortable with extended use or use during heavy activity. But I didn't notice until the deed was done. It is not intended as a sleep mask. If you put on a bandanna blind fold and this it will stay on, be super dark, and will breathe slightly better. But it doesn't need it.
While the mask and ball are silicone and thusly sturdier, the connections are plastic. Thinner then one would hope for heavy play. They are also a pain to hook behind your head. I simply don't unhook them to not deal with either. Do not pull on them during play and avoid stretching the area with the connection too far and they will last you.
Possibly improvements.... Metal hooks, more adjustable.

This, personally, is the best CPAP mask/nasal pillow out there. I have tried so many some weren't bad and I could live with them, but they are nothing compared to this one.I completely forget I have this on and sleep all the way through the night. I bought a spare just in case they stop making it. The key is using the right size for your nose. I am a BIG guy, but I use the small pillow. I would also like to note that they stand up to the pressure. I have my CPAP set at 18 out of 20. That's pretty high pressure. The only piece to ever go out is the very inexpensive seals.

Edit Nov 16, 2012: Changing my review because I got a new McKenzie Night Roll to replace the one I got a few years ago. I do NOT recommend this product at all.This new model stinks. It has about half the heft of the original product and flattens to almost nothing, so there's no support.

Rec'd this yesterday, used it last night. It stayed in place while I slept. The back support kept me comfortable. This morning, I got out of bed for the first time in years without struggling or pain.I think this item does what intended to a degree; however, it does seem to flatten out more in the back than I would like.

I have depended on this for 10 years. I had back surgery and I used it post surgery. I credit this with a large contribution to my recovery. I know everyone is different, but now, this product is the only thing that enables me to travel and sleep in many different types of beds. I carry it with me everywhere I go for overnights. I have discovered that, for me, a firm bed is suicide. It is best for me if my hips and shoulders can sink into a softer bed, but that might cause my waist to sink also and create a lot of back pain. As long as the soft bed is supportive, I do not need the back roll, but I couldn't make it 10 minutes on a firm bed without it. I take no chances traveling and simply take it along. (unsolicited recommendation for select comfort....LOVE this bed for my bad back. 35.)

After one use my dry, damaged, over-highlighted (bad hairdresser!!!), colored, poor abused 37-year-old hair... was soft and silky and not frizzy at all! After reading the reviews, and loving almost all of Alterna's other products, I had to give it a try. I have straight hair that is extremely long and bleached white, and sometimes the ends look too damaged. I had hoped that this product would do for me what it seems to do for the other ladies here. Unfortunately it did not. Even after washing it out, let left my hair very wax-like with the residue. It looked as if I had not washed my hair in weeks; just stringy and unhealthy. I am still giving it 3 stars because when I gave the rest to a friend with ultra curly hair, she was very happy. In updating my experience with this Calcium/Magnesium Citrate powder, one must note that if you do have any form of inflamatory bowel disease, a little too much of this stuff [amount varies for the individual] will give you a very loose stool. While it is still best absorbed by people with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns compared to other products, small doses are indicated, or else you will be staying very near the restroom. That having been said this is the best calcium/magnesium product and you get a half pound for just $6.00. On the other hand, people with chronic constipation get nothing but good from this product as it makes them very regular very fast.If you need Calcium and Magnesium Citrate powder, this "NOW" product is an excellent and reasonably priced choice. In addition to the obvious, it contains a reasonable dose of Vitamin D [100 IU per Tsp.] as well as Calcium and Magnesium in equal quantities, which is important for treating certain conditions and for general health. It even tastes O.K., like mild lemon juice [citrate]. We mix 1 teaspoon into citrus juice with powdered Brewer's Yeast and Astragalus twice per day.
Of course if you really don't like the taste of this in any beverage or food, you can easily make your own capsules. Size "00", or "000" being the ideal as a therapeutic dose can be had with 1 or 2 capsules. One might ask, then why not just buy pills in the first place. The answer is simply this; why have the 3 needed nutrients adulterated with heat and fillers and in the process made less active and more difficult to assimilate?
This "NOW" Product is one of the few that offers both minerals in Citrate form. Many brands that offer Calcium Citrate sneak in Magnesium Oxide which in therapeutic doses can cause Diarrhea and is less readily absorbed by the digestive system, especially in older people or anyone with Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis.
While we are still pleased with this product I no longer plan to continue using it having Crohns, though my wife is taking it and having excellent results [she's normal I'm not]. I have found no acceptable alternative for myself but plan to make a hard target search in the literature.

First, a big thank you to Amazon for providing this forum. I am grateful for this.Bought this without looking to make sure it was gmo free. Bought NOW gmo-free lecithin--EXCELLENT product.(had to request that the Co-op store order gmo-free lecithin) Bought NOW gmo-free xylitol and have just re-ordered. Great product. Not only is this powder not gmo-free, it seems to be "hiding gmo content" because it is a calcium-mg. supp. It has a surprise-soy-derivative on the label. The supp. is not listed in NOW'S "COMPLETE LIST OF GMO-FREE PRODUCTS" on NOW's website. It has this dorky rating from some rating organization, which they proudly display. Its a "GMP" seal (not finding a gmo free indication saying otherwise, I thought it was for "genetically modified product" at first when it got here). I forgot to include this product with my other order I made the same evening, paying by mistake for standard shipping. This product is going back in the mail, still sealed. The soy or its possible infusion with herbicide may be why some are having problems with loose stools. The rest of the formula for this powder is "to die for", I think. I'm a 66 old lady (ha ha), still trying to exercise regularly, and have felt that mg. in the past has helped leg pain after. Now I need calcium also to combat a tired back, and hoped to get everything I need in a powder. Think again. Already have large capsules (triple OOO's)if it won't dissolve. Really thought that it would NOT be gmo, like so many other of their great products. Wouldn't be so grumpy---if we were not trying to volunteer to get the labeling initiative passed here in the golden state so gave it 2 for trying, and because it was bargain priced, instead of 1 star--LOL (No bargain)

I used to take these regularly a few years back. I had trouble finding this brand and they were hard to swallow anyway so I found something else. I like this mix of B with calcium and magnesium so when I ran accross them at Amazon, tried them again.But now 4 or 5 years later, I can hardly swallow them at all. So I grind them with my flax seed for my morning smoothie or in a mortar and pestle and add them to yogurt.
So they're big but they have good stuff in them.

I felt this product was a good facial sunblock, but it wasn't what I hoped it would be. I was looking for a daily moisturizer that contains sunblock. This product smells like sunblock and acts like it too.After wearing it outdoors I felt the need to clean my face off since dirt seemed to be catching in it. I chose this product without researching, but I'm happy with it!It's supposed to be a daily moisturizer and sunscreen (30 spf I think it was?), and it also has a light scent that I'm not really sure how to describe but smells nice! :D
The moisture makes my face feel very smooth and the sunscreen works good enough for me without feeling all thick and pancakey, I would know it works cause I burn easily but not with this stuff on and I have an oily face so it's hard to find stuff that isn't pancakey.
I love this and will def keep using it!

I love this moisturizer. I'm excited to have found a cheaper alternative to my Dermalogica Smoothing Cream which can get fairly expensive. As an added bonus, this product contains an SPF of 30, which my previous moisturizer didn't. Yes, there is a fragrance to it. It's a fresh/clean scent, which may bother some who are sensitive but I found it quite pleasant. It's a THICK moisturizer. I have combination/dry skin and it works well for me. I use less than half a pump (I'm assuming I use about a 1/3 to a 1/4 of a pump) for my face and the container is large so I'm sure it'll last a long time.Save 78% Off
3M Foam Ear Plug 1100
I tried something like 20 different kinds of earplugs before settling on these. Why did they win? They work. I'm glad I wasn't fooled by the seemingly low NRR rating of 29dB. I can tell you that in practice, everything seems notably quieter while wearing these than when wearing any of the NRR 31-32dB earplugs I tried. I agree with the other reviewer who said that it seems as though these seal the ear better than the others.They are not the absolute most comfortable plugs I've tried Hearos Ultimate Softness are the best in that department. These 3M 1100 plugs simply block noise better, though, and are more than sufficiently comfortable even for 8-hour nights. Hearos also cost more than three times as much here on Amazon. Finally, I've found that Hearos can only be used twice before they lose effectiveness; the 3M 1100 plugs can be used at least three and often as many as five times. Still, Hearos are very effective and very comfortable, and are a fine choice if comfort is your #1 priority.
All of the Howard Leight, Peltor, and Moldex plugs that I tried were either too high pressure (painful!) or didn't work as well as these or the Hearos. One good alternative I will recommend are EAR TaperFit2 those are a little bit softer and more comfortable than the 1100s and a little more effective than Hearos, and are reasonably inexpensive, so they're a good compromise.
I used to work in industrial settings, machine shops, and now do a lot of airtravel, so I have fairly extensive experience with earplugs, BTW.These are fairly firm -even hard -at room temperature, but soften considerably after insertion. Comfortable enough to sleep in.

Great for sleeping you probably understand. They're soft and comfortable, and block out everything except my alarm (which is set on high and vibrate). I also wear them when I'm trying to work at home and the lawn is being mowed and dogs are barking etc.But another great use is wearing them to the movies. Movies are so loud these days that I could not go because of the headaches the sound would give me. I put these earplugs in properly, then pull them out slightly. That cuts down the sound by about half, so it's comfortable and I can hear dialogue perfectly. Added bonus, you don't hear people crunching on popcorn or talking on cellphones. It's made going to the movies a pleasure again.

I am about to buy my second 200-pair box; my current one has lasted about eight years. I use these whenever I need my hearing protected for more than a few minutes, everything from rock concerts to using power tools to mowing the lawn. They stay comfortable for hours, and no matter how high a noise environment I've been in, my ears never ring afterward. My only complaint, and this is probably true for just about all foamies, is that insertion is very temperature-sensitive. If where you store them gets above about 80F, it's hard to get them to stay compressed long enough to get into your ear, and below about 65F, it can take a really long time for them to expand.Bottom line: You can't go wrong with these!

I usually use the unscented wipes but ordered these thinking they were the same, I did not realize the aloe would make the wipes so sticky, they are no good for wiping hands and face when out b/c they leave his skin very sticky (and mine since I use them to wipe my own hands a lot). I am holding the rest of the box for use on our newborn instead as she will not need them for hands or face only bottom wiping and the aloe I am sure is great for helping heal diaper rash bottoms.I just make sure I get the regular unscented now without the aloe.

If you're going to call something unscented then it should actually be unscented. These wipes have fragrance added to them-it's just not as strong as the fragrance added to the scented wipes. While it's true that you could find out that these have fragrance in them by reading the ingredients who would think to do this when the box says unscented on it in big letters. I contacted customer service about this and was told that the only Pampers Wipes that are completely perfume free are the sensitive wipes (and all Pampers diapers have fragrance added to them except for the premie size).Even putting aside the issues with the fragrance I still didn't like these wipes. I found them to be thin and rough with way too much of the cleaning solution. The only positive thing I can say about these is that they are less expensive then some other brands of wipes. I think its worth it to spend the extra money for better quality wipes such as Huggies.
