Also, although it recommends 2 a day (twice), I don't take two, usually just one, and only once a day. Then if I still feel tired I take another. On very stressful days, I take two at a time. I have GAD and this product helps me handle stress and feel relaxed when otherwise my anxiety would drain my adrenal glands to the point of dysfunction. I highly recommend this product to relieve your stress and fatigue. I only drink coffee in the morning, and I never recommend caffeine in the evenings, but that is one thing that many people do which drains their adrenals. Just a little FYI try this instead!!
I'm not sure if its affecting my weight but I have lost weight since I started taking it... Which I'm happy about. Heh. I know this works well (for me) because I took one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. until one full bottle was gone. I am also taking a few other vitamins, supplements and amino acids (L-Tryptophan in particular is excellent) so when I finished the bottle of Adrenal Health I thought I'd wait and see how I felt or even if it made a difference.... I have a noticed a definite "drag" in my mood and physical energy since I ran out of this a week ago. I was really puzzled because I have not changed my nutrition at all (no processed foods, no sugar) and then I saw the empty bottle and remembered my little experiment! Of course. So, now I am back to order another bottle. The good thing about things like this product and L-Tryp, etc., is that once your body has built it's reserves back up then you can stop taking them, unlike Prozac or other artificial meds that just trick your body into thinking you have something you don't, there-by bankrupting your system even further than when you started taking the meds... hence increased doses and side effects. I am living proof that you can get off of anti-depressants & SSRI uptake inhibitors, etc., for good. Read The Mood Cure by Dr. Julia Ross, here at Amazon. It will change your life for the better. It did mine. Good luck.

I tried a couple products but this is probably the best. I actually pair this with a ginseng-based product that seems to work well. My mood is better, my energy is increased, and my concentration is great! This product is highly recommended. If everyone took this and felt as much better as I did the world would be a better place!Read Best Reviews of Gaia Herbs Adrenal Health Here
I've had problems with fatigue and associated problems for years I'm 27 years old and feel as though I'm pushing 77. I've gone to every single specialist out there to try to diagnose unilateral edema in my left leg as well as uncontrollable fatigue. I've gotten so bad at times that I've fallen asleep at work, and most nights I come home and go directly to bed. I work an office job not exactly physically demanding. Caffeine no longer helps me, but only seems to aggrivate the fatigue itself. After 7 years of seeing pulmonologists, sleep specialists, vascular specialists, cardiologists, nutritionalists, naturopaths, acupuncturists etc, the only thing that any of them were able to diagnose is that I have sleep apnea. I'm non compliant with my CPAP (much to my dismay), and am scheduled for a tonsillectomy soon.
However, I needed something to help me in the mean time. I'd been falling asleep at work and basically non-responsive as soon as I got home because I needed to sleep. So, I simply looked up "adrenal fatigue" on Amazon, and after reading reviews, decided to try this.
Let me tell you the way I feel is almost 180 degrees from where I started. I am able to stay awake at work now with no coffee, caffeinated tea, diet soda, or anything (I turned to many alternatives in my tired times). I do not have the "brain fog" that I've had for so many months my thoughts are clearer, I'm more articulate, and I feel as though I have "oomph" again. I've also had a more even keel with my emotions usually I'm in fight or flight mode almost constantly (where I literally feel as though I have to be prepared for anything at any time and was constantly "wound tight"). I do agree with some of the other reviews though if you accidentally take too many, you WILL be somewhat manic-acting. I found as I was adjusting to it, I couldnt seem to get to sleep and had to get up and get stuff done (which is seriously awesome compared to where I was). Now that I've adjusted however, it's gold. I'm still getting the tonsillectomy, but this is helping with everything else in the meantime. I'm almost done with my first bottle, and preparing to order a second. I've also had absolutely NO swelling in my leg and I've had issues with it for the past 12 years.
So its definitely worth a try. With how great I feel now, I'm recommending it to everyone. I sought out a supplement for adrenal health after falling into a mid-thirties slump I have been unable to get out of through diet and exercise. I gained thirty pounds in the past two years without changing my eating/exercise habits much, but my stress had increased tenfold. I was gaining weight in my mid section and could not do anything to take it off. I had difficulty sleeping and was taking Ambien just to get six hours of sleep. I was tired and sluggish and just felt terrible. Despite being a newlywed, my libido had all but disappeared. A friend who had taken these recommended them and within two days of taking them, I noticed a huge difference. I had more energy, I slept through the night, and I lost five pounds in one week (I have a fairly healthy lifestyle: I walk to work, eat well and work out, so I don't think I would have lost weight just taking these and sitting around). Now I have been taking these for two weeks. I lost two more pounds the second week, plus three inches off my waist (which I can actually see again!) and I have more energy than I have had in years. I am also still sleeping through the night and waking up feeling rested and ready for the day. My newlywed libido has been restored. I highly recommend these supplements to people in a similar situation: there really is something to the stress related weight gain. I'm glad I found something to help, I was getting ready to give up on ever getting back to my ideal weight!
Adaptive Sound Technologies Ecotones Duet Sound Therapy Relaxation Sleep Machine with Bonus Sleep Th
- Adaptive Sound Technology listens and reacts to the environment - Adjusting the volume automatically if it gets noisier
- 10 high quality natural sound recordings create the most realistic and natural sleep environment possible
- Three richness settings control a broad range of additional sounds for optimal sleep conditions
- Optional sleep timer and display controls provide optimal night time operating environment
- Includes BONUS ultra-thin speakers that fit under your pillow so you can surround your head with sound for enhanced therapy
The first night I used the machine, it effectively masked the sound, but I wasn't used to it and didn't sleep very well. However, with each use I have found it more conducive to restful sleep, as well as extremely effective in masking unwelcome noise. I like all of the "SoundStories" except the "white noise," which just sounds like static. I don't find the "campfire" very restful, either, but that's because living in an old row house makes one rather wary of the sound of flames! I have found that, as the instructions say, a lower "richness" level is more calming for sleeping.
I opted for this model because it came with pillow speakers at the same cost as the model without them. I now see that the model without pillow speakers is being offered at a lower price. In my opinion, the pillow speakers are not very effective, and it makes sense to pay less and do without them. I like to use earphones with mine, which allows the SoundStories to even more completely mask the external ruckus. My little girl loves listening to the machine through its normal speakers.
In short, my recommendations:
1) Stick with the machine for a few tries and get used to it.
2) Enhance its effectiveness by using earphones.
3) Don't be put off by Ecotones' relatively higher price compared with other brands. Based on the consumer reviews I've read of the other types, it's worth paying more for something that's effective and pleasant to use.I have tried a couple of these machines in the last year. Most were pretty poor quality, with poor reproduction and a clear breakpoint where the recording recycles. Not so the Duet. It has long recordings with seamless overlap. I like the Ocean best for sleeping, and the Meditation setting actually helps concentration. Top quality, I recommend it.
We just moved into a new apartment in NYC and were quite dismayed by the noisy upstairs neighbors and the occasional street nuts keeping us awake at night. The sounds we were dealing with were: stomping feet, thumping base from a stereo, late night TV, children playing in the hallway, the occasional car alarm, etc. Ahhh, New York City!
After a bit of research (price vs. quality) we decided to take a chance on the Ecotones Duet. The first night we set it for "Brook" with complete sound stories and lo and behold, not only did it mask all the annoying sounds, but within 30 minutes, we were both fast asleep. The timer was set for 90 minutes...and while we did not hear it fade...it was definitely off when we woke. At last!!! We can sleep again!
The "Adaptive Sound Technology" is great. Except if you start chatting in bed. It gets louder to cover up your speech.
We tried a few of the different settings to see which one masked the sounds better and found that for us that "Brook" was the thing. My wife really didn't like "Ocean". And the crickets in the "Meadow" were a bit overwhelming for our purposes. (And we found "other pleasures" from the fireplace sound. Light a candle, for a little more atmosphere, guys, and off you go.)
But truly, this machine can deal with a large variety of different sound issues. It gives you a lovely sounds cape to listen to, with random sounds breaking the monotony of a simple repetitive sound. Occasionally one can imagine little pieces of wood sloshing past, or a bird or squirrel rustling near the water's edge...next thing you know...it's morning and you've had another blissful night of sleep.I definitely like the sound from this machine I thought I would use white noise because I am used to keeping a bathroom vent fan on, but I like the waterfall sound. I use it to drown out my husband's snoring. It has worked pretty well, not perfect. He still wakes me up sometimes :) I also can't get the automatic sound adjustment feature to work. I tried to test it by making noise and nothing happened. So I just set it for the night and as I was trying to fall asleep, it kept getting quieter when there was no noise in the room? So I turn that off and just leave it on a steady volume. It stinks because I paid the high price for this feature, but since I like the noise, I am keeping it anyway. Would recommend, but it is expensive.I originally purchased the Sound Therapy Machine to cover out subtle dog noises very unwelcomed by my non-dog loving partner. So-so with that, but I found I love it when I work on my dissertation at home. The sound quality is really nice and the sounds are well done. I'm partial to brook and ocean. Thank you and good luck. This is a nice product.I was leery to purchase this product at first because of some of the negative reviews. I'm really glad I listened to the good reviews. So far this product is wonderful.
Pros:
* Small, but well made and solid.
* The sounds are high class. They sound great! My favorite is the bonfire, my wife's is the city.
* Options galore! Many sounds to choose from. You can keep it simple or juice the sounds up by adjusting the settings.
* The adaptive setting works well. I'm told that it still doesn't drown out my snoring however, but wifey just kicks me...problem solved.
Cons:
*Honestly, nothing yet. If I run into any problems, I'll update this review.
'NUGGLEBUDDY Moist Heat & Aromatherapy Organic Rice Pack for Microwave. Thick, Cozy Flannel "PEACH F
The aromatherapy part of this did not last very long though. THe directions suggest keeping it in the pouch provided when not in use. I did this but the lavendar smell only lasted for about 2 heatings and then was gone.
Obivously I am not too worried about it though!Love this product. We bought one and liked it so much we bought a second one. They are well made and we love the aroma option. They come with a nice plastic zipper pouch for storage that works great and keeps the scent fresh. Going to try one for our dogs!
Michaderm Natural Facial Moisturizer Night Time, Repair UV Damage, Minimize Pores & Deep Hydration,
Great Night Cream!
Another fantastic Michaderm product! The interesting thing about this night cream is that it really makes my skin super smooth and supple. I apply it before bedtime every day. By the next morning, my tired and dry skin feels so refreshed! I've been using this night cream for several months now. I clearly noticed that the wrinkles on my face look much less pronounced. I used La Mer's moisturizing cream. For a small fraction of the cost, it does even better job!
BodyMedia LINK Armband Weight Management System
I find that wearing the unit is very comfortable so far for the entire day and while sleeping. I remove it to sync and shower. It is also comfortable under clothes.
Syncing with my iPhone is relatively easy. Just one push on the unit while the app is open and my phone and the most recent calorie/step count/activity data will be displayed within the app. One minus though, once your phone times out to conserve battery you lose your Bluetooth connection and must complete the sync again. Not a big deal, but it could be improved. The capabilities of the app are more limited to the on-line AM, but I am hoping in time it will be upgraded.
You must use the USB cord to officially download/sync your unit to the Activity Manager (website based). You cannot yet do so with the Bluetooth capability of your computer. Another bummer, but possibly will improve in time. Also, be aware that your food input and calorie information on your phone will not automatically appear on-line within the AM, you must do a hard-line sync with the USB. Another little minus, but again minor. One the plus side, current data from the on-Line AM WILL immediately update into your app.
I have seen some comments where people are not happy with the AM food list and search capabilities for tracking calorie intake. I have used Spark People, LiveStrong, and the Lose It! app for iPhone and I am so far generally pleased with the on-line food list (as well as the app). In addition, entering my own food is very easy and the nutritional input area is very user friendly if you are into the details like I am.
So far, I am very surprised at how accurate the activity and sleep data is. It is exciting to see the spikes from a vigorous workout, but even walking up a few flights of stairs will show as a quick "spike", confirming that you did something more than your baseline. It also reflects long periods of sitting or laying down...need to keep those to a minimum :)
The Activity Manager interface is well laid out and shows general numbers and charting. Overall, polished and easy to use.
I also wanted to add that the customer service for BM has been satisfactory. This company appears to be trying very hard to make all of us new users (and current users) happy with our devices. There is also a Facebook page where the customer service reps will answer questions and are very responsive to users. This has helped me to learn more about the device and answer more questions. They also list promotions for sales from the BM website and discuss releases for other retailers where the unit is available.
One last downside...the price. At the current rate of two-fifty for a unit they are not cheap. Certainly more than I wanted to spend, but for the motivation is worth it for many users struggling to really get a grasp on the calorie-out part of the weight loss/maintenance equation.
***UPDATE***
I have been using this unit now for about 6 weeks, and I continue to be satisfied. The biggest surprise for me has been that I needed to INCREASE my caloric intake when my weight plateaued for two weeks. I was able to run a detailed report from the data that has been collected over several weeks and it was clear that I had too large of a calorie deficit each day. Show me another weight loss/health product that can do THAT! The reports are a great tool. A recent update to the iPhone app has just been released as well which fixes some bugs and adds to the utility of the app's use.to get full benefits of device there is a monthly subscription fee of almost $7___i haven't found that highlighted in any of the recent reviews_ so just be aware= you may benefit from a less expensive device if you don't want all the info that this device would provide via the subscription fee.
i also noticed this comes with a free 3 month subscription_ costco is selling there's with a free 12 month subscriptionthat's 9 months at $7 per = $63 value.

I've been wearing the new BodyMedia BW armband for about a week now, and although it was a rocky, frustrating set up I'm loving it now. I starting wearing this right after Thanksgiving and I've already lost the extra turkey and pumpkin pie pounds I gained thanks to this!Due to some of the other reviews posted, I think some clarifications are in order. First, all the data that is being collected is actually stored on the armband. The only thing the phone does is act as a display of data that's on the armband (just like how the watch/display works with previous versions, by the way). But it's able to do a lot more than the old watch display by taking additional information like the food log and give you an up to date snapshot to show if you're consuming more or less calories than you're burning. Just like with previous versions, you still have to "download" the official data to the Bodymedia activity manager on your computer via a USB cable.
You do have to press the button on the armband to link it to your phone BEFORE you open up the app. Then when it links, the phone will display your latest steps, calories burned, etc. I do this once or twice during the day to see where I'm at and its super easy to link it each time before. If it were constantly connected (as another reviewer indicated he thought that's how it should work) it would kill the battery life of both your phone and your armband bluetooth drains battery life. If you are in an exercise session (say, at the gym), you go to the workout section of the app, and the phone and armband stay connected for that entire session so you can get real time data and work out till you've reached a threshold of burned calories. Super easy.
There's no doubt the setup instructions need improvement. I've seen on other sites that customer service can help, though. As much as I like the convenience of bluetooth it does drain the battery life of the armband. I used to wait two weeks between charging, now I have to charge every 3 or 4 days.
But overall I love this version of the armband. It's a great tool. Should you upgrade from the previous version to the BW version? If you've got a supported smart phone and you like being able to check in to see how you're doing or want real time info when you're at the gym then yes. If you're ok with using the watch display combined with the previous version -then stick with it.

I was so excited to receive the new Bodymedia FIT bluetooth version, however I am really disappointed. I love technology, but this seems to be much less user friendly than previous versions and they have lost some vital functionality. My main issues:1. If you turn the phone off or multi-task to another app, the Bluetooth does not stay connected to the phone. In order to reconnect you have to push the button on your armband. If you could hit "refresh" in the app and have it reconnect that would be fine, but having to push the button on the armband is very cumbersome.
Depending on what I am wearing, I can't hit the button through my clothes. So I
have to reach under my shirt (imagine how that looks!) to push a button, which makes a not so quiet beep-beep-beep tone every time I want to check how many calories I have burned.
2. I am not a fan of the BodyMedia food interface so I track my food through MyFitness Pal and enter my calories consumed using the daily estimate feature. This feature is not available on the app. In order to enter just the number of calories consumed you have to use the web interface. That means I can't use the app for food logging.
3. The old version that had the display unit showed your current calorie burn rate in calories per minute. There is no way to see this information on the app. I have had issues with my armband showing abnormally high burn rates while driving in the car. I used the display to monitor this, and would take it off or flip over the armband if I saw it happening. There is no way to check your current burn rate during an activity. You have to wait until you sync your armband at home and try to remember what time it was.
4. Workouts: Several options for it to alert you when you have completed a work out based on minutes, calories or intensity. This is a nice feature. However once your workout is done it is not tracked anywhere. There is no way to review current or past workouts.
I hope BodyMedia does a lot of work to improve the usability. There are so many cool ways to use technology to track fitness/health, and this one just falls flat.

I bought my Body Media armband through Jenny Craig when I joined about 9 weeks ago. I feel it has been an invaluable tool, as well as a great motivator for me. I have lost 12.5 pounds with the help of Jenny Craig and the Body Media armband. I enter all my calories consumed on a daily basis, and since the device calculates how many calories I have burned, I know exactly where I am in terms of "calorie balance" (surplus or deficit). All the Jenny Craig meals are already in the system, as are many other foods. Foods that are not already in the system can be easily entered ("create new food"). I also invested $25 in a food scale that I bought through Amazon (the EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale) which has been extremely helpful in terms of accurately gaging portion sizes and calorie intake. This device also calculates how many hours you sleep and how "efficient" your sleep has been.
Out of curiosity, I read a lot of the negative reviews here, and it seems that a large portion of them are due to people having problems with the bluetooth feature and using the device with their phones. I can't speak to this since I do not use the device with my phone, only on my Mac, and I have not had a single problem. I feel that not only has this device been an integral part of my weight loss, it will be essential in helping me to maintain my weight once I reach my goal.
I also want to mention one little "trick" that was told to me by my Jenny Craig consultant: if you're a woman you can actually take the device out of the armband and wear it tucked in the left side of your bra. During the day I wear it in my bra, and at night I wear it with the armband, and in my experience this does not change the performance of the device, and it's great if you are wearing short sleeves/sleeveless or if you just get tired of wearing the armband.

Contour CPAP wipes are very easy and convenient to use when cleaning my mask every morning. I keep them right beside my bed. These wipes aren't too good. The smell of the citrus scent, quite frankly, is repulsive in my opinion. The wipes didn't clean my mask very well either. So, I defiantly would not recommend these.I disposed of the entire can after using 2 or 3 wipes first of all it is extremely difficult to get the first wipe out of the container from the center, and second of all, it leaves an unpleasant odor in the Cpap mask after wiping it out. Not a "good" citrus smell.Garnier Ultra- Lift Pro Deep Wrinkle Night Cream, 1.70 Ounce
Here is what I CAN say:
Pros
Smells nice, I like the smell a lot.
Lovely texture, this is what I expect from a night cream
I have combo skin with an oily T zone and very large pores, this does not clog my pores and does not feel greasy... it is well absorbed even in the oily areas
tamed my dry flakey brows... my eyebrows are flakey. Nothing helps them. Except this.
Makes my skin feel soft and smooth
cons
Hard to tell if its "working" but thats partially to do with me

untested (unproven?) uncommon active ingredientsI recently bought Garnier Ultra-Lift Moisturizer and was excited to have a little money to buy it. Turned 58 this year and had read positive recommendations about using it for wrinkles and overall skin smoothing. Surprise!! I developed a nasty rash on my neck, and some on my face: basically, Contact Dermatitis...severe itching, redness, rash that made me very miserable. I subsequently did some research and the three "Active Ingredients" listed on the back have caused many people to have the same reactions. There are some medical concerns about "Avobenzone" also, and its use as a sunscreen. Just be careful if you buy this product and try it on a small area first. I had a couple of unpleasant nights and days because of it.

It took a couple of nights before I slept through the night and when I would wake up I would go right back to sleep. I started with one pill and now I take 2 every night. Wonderful stuff. My mask had two problems however one was the cushion seal and when the cushion fails to seal you really have a problem.
I notified seller resmed sent me another cushion promptly. That cushion sealed. just be aware any leakage in a seal is uneceptable.
Also had a problem with exhaust there is a tiny band that goes on this exhaust these little bands can't cost more than five cents
however these bans are over two vents in the exhaust and can leak mine did. I did not contact the seller on this.
