It took a few nights to get use to but it has helped my Barrett'e syndrome. I was also surprised that my back felt much better in the morning. I looked at a few other wedges but this was perfect and the price was right. I found extra covers at "Bed,Bath&Beyond" for $10.

This pillow is worth more than its low price would indicate. I am finally getting better quality sleep as I can sleep with my upper body slightly elevated. Due to allergies, post nasal drip, acid reflux problems, and xerotomia caused by radiation for throat cancer, I used to have to sit up to cough 5-6 times a night. Now, often not at all, or 1-2 times at the most.

This pillow did what it advertised it would do help with nighttime acid reflux. Unfortunately, the pillow is as hard as a rock. I've used it for 3 nights and wake up each morning with sore neck and shoulders. I'm returning this today and ordering a memory foam wedge.

If you like a firm (VERY firm) mattress or pillow, this will probably work for you. If not, spend the extra $$ and get a memory foam wedge.
