I have tried many different brands of melatonin over the years but would always stop taking because I get side effects like headaches and a little dizziness when I wake up, when I saw this product at a Whole Foods the first time and read the lable I was surprised to learn it was natural and not synthetic, first time Id ever seen that so I figured Id give it a try, happy to say it worked nicely and no side effects at all, I wont say it fixed all my sleep problems but it helps and feel its a much better product than most out there.

Melatonin works best with a small dose and this 0.3 mg seems to be exactly right. I have been using Herbatonin for about 3 years since my daughter brought me a sample from a nurse/midwife seminar. One of these with two 500 mg. GABA and my insomnia days are nearly all gone. This is the BEST, most EFFECTIVE and RELIABLE product I have every used to help me fall asleep. I usually take two or three each night and it puts me to sleep flawlessly. (If I really wound-up or had caffeine, I up it to 5, but have never needed more.) I have no trouble staying awake if I need to, though. I always feel fine and wide awake the morning after. I have never tried driving after taking it, nor do I suggest it, but it does not eff you up like other substances that help you sleep. I take it about an hour before I plan on falling asleep and it is kind of like one minute I am fine, the next I am asleep...no tossing and turning. I have tried so many things and this is the most reliable. Highly suggested!
