Flents Flents Quiet Please Foam Ear Plugs

These earplugs are good but nowhere near as good as the newer purple variety of "Quiet Please" that Flents had started making recently. Now suddenly they've gone back to the older version with no explanation. They're not as flexible and they pop out of my ears. They still make their "Quiet Time" earplugs in the softer purple variety but they are not as effective. Why did they change back? I don't get it. And I can't find a website to complain about it.

I've used Flents Quiet Please for years and recently have had trouble finding them in my local drugstores. They only have those colored bullet-shaped squishy ones now and I find they are no good. Don't stay in and don't block out noise. I was so happy to find the old fashioned off-white Flents Quiet Please online. I thought they had stopped making them. I will buy a boatload before they take them off the market for some trumped up cockamamie health reason. I find I can re-constitute them by placing them in a small pyrex bowl of water and microwaving for one minute. Squash in a paper towel to remove excess water and allow to air dry. They come back good as new.

I bought these for use during sleep because they are latex free.

They roll up and insert well, but expand with such pressure against the sides of the ear canal that I awaken with earache and sore jaw.

I've not had that experience with other ear plugs, and I may try trimming these, or go back to other softer ear plugs.

I`ve been wearing ear plugs to sleep for over 20 yrs. I always used the orange ones with a NRR rating of 33. The problem with those is they go to far or work their way deeper into the ear canal. When they do that, they put pressure on my Arnold`s Nerve. Hurts like hell. The ear plugs I purchased from you do not reach to my ear nerve and I sleep as well as can be expected with my Rhumitoid Arthritis. Lots of pain with that disease. Love the ear plugs. Will purchase more in the future if I`m still here. Thanks.

I've been wearing these earplugs every night for 20 years. They always worked fine for me, until recently. It used to be that I could re-use the earplug until it just got too gross. Then I would throw it away. Recently, they seem to have changed the formula, and the earplug will not longer keep its shape after more than two or three uses. After that there is a significant diminution in noise reduction. If you only plan to use the earplugs once or twice, these will work fine for you. If you need them on a daily basis, these are no longer cost effective. I now have switched to one of the bell-shaped earplugs. I roll the end and stick it in my ear and it works even better than "Quiet Please". The best news is that the bell-shaped ones keep their shape and you can use them over and over again.
