ShipShape was delivered in two boxes. It took me an hour or so to assemble. Well worth the effort: combined with a 100% latex mattress I purchased from another vendor, I had an affordable dream bed. Best of all, I didn't have to over-pay by dealing with mattress store sales pressure and tactics. I got exactly what I wanted without the frills. ShipShape's motors seem strong and good-quality ... With my >200 lbs, the motors can easily raise my head and legs. My only gripe: assembly was a bit tricky. The YouTube assembly video made it look so easy to swing the leg supports out .. but I had to loosen the screws to do that. Worse, the motor assembly got dislodged from the side rails during my fumbling ... it look quite a bit of head scratching to figure out how to force things back together.
I bought 2 twin xls to make a split king and the price is unbeatable. I bought 2 memory foam mattresses to go with this and my set up is very nice. I am very happy.
