Emerita (Pro-Gest) Night Face Cream

Have used quality facial skin care products for 10+ years. Began with Borghese, used every "high-end" line to be found-including Creme de la Mer. Never found one I was happy with. 3 years ago, started using facial care products from Whole Foods (or equivalent) in effort to use all-natural & organic ingredients. Began using Emerita skin-care products 6 months ago (now use entire line). I HAD very dry, sensitive, difficult skin. Am allergic to almost everything, including vit c products. Now my skin is RADIANT, firm, blemish-free, soft and moisturized w/out being oily. I use the night cream day and night, and use the eye treatments daily. The lines around my eyes, between my eyes, and on my forehead have nearly disappeared (will be 40 soon, people tell me I look MUCH younger). Acne/pimple breakouts are non-existent now, and my skin looks prettier now than it did in my 20's! Can't say enough about this wonderful product line! Got my Mom hooked on it & nearly a dozen of my closest friends. I primarily use the Moisturizing Cleanser, Microderm Facial Scrub (every other day), Night Moisturizer, Fine Line Serum & Dark Circle Serum. i'm am somewhat of a skin care junkie. products i've used include philosophy, earth science, avalon organics, arbonne, mary kay, and alba botanics. all are good quality, but not too pricey. this product is great and definatly better in comparison to any of the products i listed. i used this cream after using the emerita microdermabrasion scrub, and it's rich, creamy, and makes my skin feel silky and soft. i also recommend the microdermabrasion. next i will be ordering the dark circle eye serum, the moisturizing face wash and the toner. i love this product, it's definatly worth the money. plus i was very pleasently suprised when i recieved my order only 3 days after ordering it!!

I have been using this product for several weeks now and I noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. The cream is a little heavy, but not too heavy for a night cream. By morning you skin takes it all in and after a wash I can see a softness around my eyes and lips. I can't wait to see what else will happen. I really was expecting a little bit more from this product since I read a lot of outstanding reviews. But I have to say that I am neither overwhelmed or particularly enthusiastic about this night creme. It is not greasy and does not have any kind of annoying smell. I am pretty savvy on moisturizers and this one is exactly as I would expect for the price. Average and useful when you have nothing left in the bathroom cabinet.

I purchased this lotion hoping for two things. #1 I needed a lotion that would be wearable on a daily basis without irritating my skin. #2. I hoped to find a lotion that would reduce some of my rosacea, dark circles and wrinkles. The product delivered on #1, but not on #2.

I have VERY sensitive skin and a high number of odd allergies. Most skincare products, even organic ones, cause blemishes or inflammation and are unusable for me. Although this cream is a little heavier than I prefer, it is not irritating to my skin at all. I am able to wear it every day with no issue. When I first began using it, I had a few breakouts, but those subsided and my skin quickly adjusted. It is an excellent, gentle, daily moisturizer.

However, I have not noticed any significant reductions in my rosacea, dark circles or wrinkles. I cannot say that my skin looks any better now than it did before I began using the cream.

I really like it that it is in a jar. I do not have to use very much of the cream at all. I think that it will last a long time, longer than the same amount of lotion in a typical bottle. It does not have an odor that I notice.

Overall, I am very pleased with it as a daily moisturizer, but it is not a miracle making cream. I would recommend it to anyone who has a lot of allergies and sensitivities.
