The roll part of the pillow seemed like a good idea, however, it just wasn't comfortable at all. The rest of the pillow became very misshapen and soft, offering no support, so after a few nights so my head was positioned too far down. My husband is trying to use the pillow now with a second pillow underneath. I'm happy for all those this pillow worked for. It just wasn't for me.

I have chronic insomnia. I heard on the Dr Oz show that an orange light in the evening can reset your internal clock and melatonin levels so you can sleep better. I am not sure that I am sleeping all that much better yet, but this orange bulb is perfect for my experiment. It is 100 watt, but not all that bright. I can still use it to read before bed. It definitely seems to be a more relaxing color than the bright white of the CFL that was in the fixture before. The price of the bulb was decent especially since they are so hard to find. It arrived quickly and was packaged well.

The product was as described and very bright. I liked the orange color and everyone at our party liked the Halloween feel.

I bought four of these to replace the normal 100 watt lights on the front of my house for Halloween. I like the color of the bulbs as they give you a solid orange. I deducted one star because I was a little disappointed in the brightness (I live in the sticks with no street lights). I did not expect them to be as bright as a white bulb but these are more like 60 watts. Since I used four of them it was still acceptable.

DermaGen Anti-Wrinkle Patches

I've used frownies for a while. I could only ever use the between the brow ones as the others were uncomfortable and fell off during the night. I got a good result with Frownies but getting them to stick and then getting them off, not so great.

These stick and they come right off in the morning. I can make one rectangle one stick between my eyebrows for 4 or 5 nights. After the first night, it loses some of its stickiness so I apply a drop of moisturizer to it and stick it on. It stays. On the 3rd night I washed the patch and it got stickier. Hard to complain about that. I think 4 or 5 nights max on the rectangle one is probably the max for me. Between my former use of frownies and now these, I have no frown lines... when I'm not frowning. And therein lies the difference between these and Botox. With botox (which I haven't had for over a year), I can't frown much so the lines don't crease over and over again. With these, yeah, they get relaxed and refreshed and the creases are gone, but I can still make creases by frowning. I've gotten pretty good at remembering not to frown

I used the ones that go around your mouth for the first time last night. Felt MUCH better than the frownies brand and stayed on all night. I was expecting nothing. Those nasal labial folds aren't going anywhere fast without some kind of dermal filler that I don't want to spring for just now. I was shocked when I woke up and they were smoothed out. It didn't last of course. I didn't expect it to. It was ONE night. But just the fact that they could spend 8 hours NOT folded is a pretty cool thing. We'll see if there's any real difference with continued use. Somehow I doubt it.

For what they are, they're great. Will they take all the lines out of your face the way Botox or dermal fillers would? No, but there is a definite difference, which beats the heck out of no difference. :)

Perfect patches for smoothing out the nasal labial folds. They also work very well on forehead lines. Compared to Frownies, which I used on a regular basis before discovering DermaGen, these patches are very comfortable and stay on during the night. They are easy to apply and you'll hardly notice wearing them. No water needed. Just peel them off the sheet and attached them to your face. I use the same patches three to four times. Although you wake up looking wonderfully smooth, the effect will wear off during the day. However, you can add on a few "tricks" which will keep you glowing and firm.

In my experience, the best results are achieved by:

1. Allowing your night cream to absorb a little before attaching the patches.

2. Do facial exercises on a daily basis. You'll find some easy to follow videos on You Tube.

3. Drink plenty of water and use products which will moisturize and plump up your skin. My favorites are Lancome Genifique Concentrate and Shiseido Bio Performance Super Restoring Cream.

Don't be discouraged by the "As Seen On TV Images". This product is far better than the first impression...

The only downfall to these is that if you have sensitive skin they may leave redness. I know my laugh lines were left a bit red so I didn't use the pads there again the next night, I switched them to my eyes. I think the delicate skin around the eyes maybe sensitive to these pads every night too. This is defiantly a case by case product, not all skin responds the same to everything and you may have no redness at all.

I really was expecting a little bit more from this product since I read a lot of outstanding reviews. But I have to say that I am neither overwhelmed or particularly enthusiastic about this night creme. It is not greasy and does not have any kind of annoying smell. I purchased this lotion hoping for two things. #1 I needed a lotion that would be wearable on a daily basis without irritating my skin. #2. I hoped to find a lotion that would reduce some of my rosacea, dark circles and wrinkles. The product delivered on #1, but not on #2.

I have VERY sensitive skin and a high number of odd allergies. Most skincare products, even organic ones, cause blemishes or inflammation and are unusable for me. Although this cream is a little heavier than I prefer, it is not irritating to my skin at all. I am able to wear it every day with no issue. When I first began using it, I had a few breakouts, but those subsided and my skin quickly adjusted. It is an excellent, gentle, daily moisturizer.

However, I have not noticed any significant reductions in my rosacea, dark circles or wrinkles. I cannot say that my skin looks any better now than it did before I began using the cream.

I really like it that it is in a jar. I do not have to use very much of the cream at all. I think that it will last a long time, longer than the same amount of lotion in a typical bottle. It does not have an odor that I notice.

Overall, I am very pleased with it as a daily moisturizer, but it is not a miracle making cream. I would recommend it to anyone who has a lot of allergies and sensitivities.

Dream Essentials Snooz Silky Soft Sleep Mask ~ Pink

This sleep mask does NOT block out light. With this sleep mask on and my eyes closed, light still bothers me, even if the light is only from the TV. The mask is pretty transparent and the fabric is not blackout like described.

The product pictured is not the item I received. The fabric on both sides is like the fabric they use in tracksuits or tents, and not silky like in the picture. There's a piece of black fabric that goes across the bridge of your nose, and the color of the item actually received is a lighter shade of pink.

I wouldn't recommend this sleep mask at all, not for anyone with any intended use for it!

For one thing, and this is enough reason not to buy it, IT BROKE IMMEDIATELY!!! One of its two thin straps came out at the seam the first time I slipped it gently on, and it's not designed to do that. There's no way to reattach it into a buckle or snap or anything like that. The quality of the product is just too poor to make it useful or worthwhile at any cost. I actually felt like it was a low-quality product the moment I held it in my hands and looked at it. But when the strap broke right away, I realized it truly was junk and I couldn't even give it away.

For another thing, it is TOO SMALL! It must have been designed for very tiny people or children. I have a small head, narrow face, and am thin as well as small-boned. I tried this thing both with and without its useless nose flap deployed (and who wants their nostrils covered while sleeping, being forced to mouth breathe?). This mask presses in on my eyelids (the skin itself, not just the eyelashes) on the outside parts of them. It does this to a very significant degree and is extremely uncomfortable to wear. I couldn't possibly fall asleep with this thing on, and wouldn't even be able to leave on my face if NOT trying to sleep due to the discomfort it creates. It presses something that isn't soft (as the surface isn't) into a good-sized portion of my eyelids constantly! No one wants this feeling from mask such as this, I would expect. In addition to pressing in on the eyelids, which I haven't had ANY other mask do like this (and I've tried many), it has the more common problem of pressing on my eyelashes, which I experience as uncomfortable as well.

Further, it does NOT block out light or vision, and the nose flap mentioned above is useless in this endeavor. As with most masks, it particularly allows space below the eyes where light and vision can easily and unavoidably seep through. I tried it repeatedly with and without the nose flap in use, and no matter what I did, it made no progress on keeping out a significant amount of light and viewable area below the eyes, no matter how I positioned it. Of course, once the strap broke (within a minute or two tops), the point was moot as I realized it was useless junk. Plus, just because of the pressing feeling against my eyelids, neither of those issues mattered. If not for one reason, then for another, this mask is useless.

In fairness, I'll note that I've found that that most, perhaps all that I've tried, of low-cost sleep masks such as this one allow for light and vision below the eyes, are uncomfortable, and are ultimately not useful at all to me. Most tend to get quickly added to the "useless things I wasted money on and now need to give or throw away" pile. Perhaps the matter of light leaking through and the ability to see out the bottom of a mask may be partially due to the inherently-difficult shape of the typical human face when trying to block eyesight and light. The nose just tends to make it difficult to get something that'll lay flat and seal out light below the eyes, even if the top and sides can more easily be sealed up in many models.

ON THE OTHER HAND, there's no point in paying even a low price for something not functional at all. The mask isn't worth enough to make it worth the cost and time of returning it, assuming that's allowed for this product after you've tried it on. So if you don't find it useful, as I imagine just about anyone is likely not to, you might find that you just have to eat the cost and get absolutely nothing you can use or even give away for your money. If sleep requires sleep aids such as this, then any source of additional discomfort introduced by those sleep aids is counter-productive and not worthwhile even if it were free of charge. If you want the mask just to block out vision or light, but not when sleeping, then comfort might not matter as much but likely still matters to you. Who wants to have something on that doesn't feel good? Regardless, it still won't do very well at blocking light or vision unless it's okay for it to only block some of the light and view, but not all of it. That may be all you want from it for all I know. Personally, I wouldn't use this mask or give it away even if they were free of charge in unlimited quantity and each one used saved a cute puppy's life.

Given the low price and higher-quality products out there, it may seem odd to buy such a cheap item and then be disappointed in the results. But the quest to find something that would block out light effectively while also being comfortable was worth the effort, and sometimes an inexpensive product can be better than a higher-priced item. I bought a number of different sleep masks at the same time in an effort to find even one that'd work well in blocking out light while not feeling uncomfortable, and I thought this was cheap enough to warrant a shot at it. I was wrong this time!

For flat and lightweight sleep masks, I recommend trying the following instead. It's very comfortable, less than twice the cost of the one reviewed here (about $5.00 more when I bought them), and it's actually useful (unlike this Dream Essentials one). I got one with a lavender scent that's beautiful and comforting to smell as well. I think it has real lavendar in it. Here it is:

I love that mask, it's light-weight and comfortable. it arrived very quickly. the straps do get a bit stretched out pretty easily, but, for the price, it's a great mask. i will definitely be ordering more for myself and friends.

This really does not smell that great, and I seriously noticed no difference. Plus, I broke out in these little hives, so I have discontinued it. Pricy for what it is!

This feels like it's working when you put it on, but you really have to stick with it. Results don't come quick and are relatively minimal. St. Ives offers a similar system (like this and the Fat Girl Slim) that is less expensive and works more quickly and noticably.

Peaceful Sleep Now for Expectant Mothers Cd

I love this CD. The only thing I don't like is the volume at the beginning of the meditation. I like to relax using meditation and end on this one. Sometimes when she comes on (on my MP3), she wakes me up because she does the usual "Hello this is Kerry Tushauff, etc". Other than that, this is a solid purchase. I just flattened all my equalizer settings out and use this as my 'custom' setting for night time listening. This takes the inflection out of any high pitches...Easily fixed :)

I am currently about a month out from the estimated due date for my second child. As another reviewer wrote, this period of pregnancy is often accompanied by aches, pains, and cramps during the night time period. And yes, frequent trips to the bathroom. Although this hypnosis track itself does not make those things go away it has been invaluable to me for transitioning quickly and peacefully back to sleep after I awake to use the bathroom or change positions. I downloaded the track onto my MP3 player and it sits on my bedside stand ready to go whenever I need it. Again, as noted by a different reviewer there is a lengthy introduction to the track. I LOVE this segment for the most part, especially when going to sleep for the first time at night. It gives me all the time I need to get settled in and truly relaxed and comfortable in my little nest of pillows. So when the hypnotic induction starts I'm not distracted by those last minute itches and body shifts. And if in the middle of the night when I have gotten up and am still very relaxed I don't want to listen to the intro I know exactly where to quickly forward to to skip it. And as noted on the cd, the more you listen to the hypnosis session the better it will work for you. It was wonderful to have it early in this pregnancy because I became very attuned to it when sleep wasn't so disrupted. Now my subconscious mind only has to hear a very small part of it the majority of the time before I am sound asleep. And the few times I have been without it (forgot to recharge the battery and didn't have it around to plug it in) the hypnotic cue that it teaches did a good job of helping me fall asleep much easier than if I hadn't used anything, although not quite as quickly and easily as when I listen to the track. And finally, I really enjoy tuning in to my baby's movements as something to actually help me be calm, relaxed and sleepy rather than trying to ignore my rather active night time baby in an effort to get some sleep. If you aren't looking for a magic pill to cure every sleep issue that comes during pregnancy I think this is a highly effective tool to help you get as much sleep as possible!

I took a Hypnobabies Class and loved using Hypnosis for my birth. Using this CD helped a ton when I just couldn't get comfortable throughout my entire pregnancy. There is also a CD for Sleep now for Everybody that I use now that I'm not pregnant and that my husband can listen to that is great.

I listened to this track for insomnia several years ago...before there was a "Peaceful Sleep Now for ALL". I had terrible insomnia and it worked beautifully for me even though I wasn't pregnant at the time. When the CD said, 'and every movement your baby makes" ... with regards to going deeper rather than being interrupted, I would just think to myself, "My 'baby' is an adult and he can move as much as he likes in his own home while I'm listening here and going deeper to sleep, and it absolutely won't interfere with my sleeping one little bit"!

Now, I listen to the Peaceful Sleep Now for ALL nearly nightly so that the cues...taking 3 deep breaths and repeating "peaceful sleep now" each time I exhale, works beautifully even when I don't have the track available to listen! Both tracks are definitely worth the money.
