As unromantic as it sounds, my sweetie (who often snores loudly) gave these to me for my birthday. I had been talking about buying custom made earplugs and he thought these might be a good alternative. Well, I love the earplus and I love him for getting them for me.

It took me a little while to get used to them but now I've been using them nightly for 6 months. I am so much happier now. I had been using foam earplugs, but they would fall out multiple times during the night.

These stay in and work so well that sometimes I don't hear the alarm clock. Every so often I need to push them back in to "reseal" them, but generally I make it through the night without a problem.

The biggest drawback is that once in a while a couple of long hairs get caught it them. It is a little messy getting my hair out of the plug, but I can usually work it out pretty quickly. They're not perfect, but they are a lifesaver.

I find that each pair last me roughly 4-8 weeks.

These do take a little getting use to at first, but they block out more sound than anything else i've used. They also stay in my ears better than anything else i've used. I use these for sleeping and no other earplug stays in my ears all night (even these fall out sometimes, but not all the time like others).

One important caveat! If its a hot night they can melt and find their way inside your ear. In several years of using these it has happened twice. Once it came out on its own the next day, but the other time i had to go to the doctor and get it washed out. The company assures me it isn't dangerous and i didn't have any bad after-effects but something to watch out for.

I've been using these ear plugs for several years now and I am glad to see that amazon is now carrying them. I use them to help supress the snoring noise. I've tried just about everything on the market thru the years and these work best for me. I don't think anything will actually work to fully block the noise of a heavy snorer but they do work for light snoring and sometimes, I actually get a good nights sleep!

I use ear plugs to drowned out the sound of my spouse's snoring. I had used other ear plugs before and they were slightly too big and would make my ear canals ache. I tried these and love them. They mold to the shape of your ear and really drowned out all noises. I usually use the same pair of ear plugs for 2-4 weeks.

I've been using these for hearing protection while target shooting for a few years now, and they work absolutely great. I find them to be more comfortable than the cheap foam ear plugs, as well as reducing noise more effectively than anything else I've tried. But like any ear plug, you need to make sure you're actually putting them in correctly, it's crazy how often you'll find people complaining an ear plug doesn't work well when they're really just not using them properly. I can't speak to any other uses for them, but for hearing protection while shooting, I'd definitely recommend these.
