I have two of these Walgreen brand forever cool mats. Overall the product is not too bad. I have one seat pad and one bed pad.If you're in an enviroment where the heat isn't too overhwhelming,these pads will do you fine. If their left in a place that is pretty hot already though your going to be out of luck. To me that seems to defeat the purpose,but when it works man it does feel great.( if you have a basement throw them down their for the day the bring em up at night)
The cooling effect last upwards of about 45 minutes or so and it decreases as the time goes on. Lets say if you lay on your back for 15 minutes you'll begin to think, "well it quit working." But then lets say you rolled over on your stomach you'll know this is still working.
I bought the bed mat last summer for about 45 dollars,so I don't think the 80 dollar price tag is justified. It's not worth that much but if you can catch it for the 40 dollar range I say give it a shot if you got the spare money.
If you're like me and the AC don't crank upstairs like you wish it would,I suggest trying one of these out and going to Lowes and try out the feature comfort 16 inch high Velocity fan. Their so good you'll probably buy 2 or 3.
