The silk is wonderful against your eyes. The elastic stretches gently and is as unobtrusive as it could be. The ivory side gets discolored quicker (perhaps I didn't remove my eye makeup well enough). So I put the black against my eyes.

Some had strange adjustable straps which I can imagine my hair getting tangled in. This sleep mask saved me hours of sleep. It is very comfortable to wear, no pinching or pulling. It is not tight and will not stay on all night, that is ok though. I would rather have it get me to sleep then wake up with a headache due to it being tight enough to stay put as I am an active sleeper.
