This pillow actually measured 15-in x 5-1/4-in, which is substantially smaller than 17 x 7. It was a super lightweight foam, and felt very airy and cheap.

The silk is wonderful against your eyes. The elastic stretches gently and is as unobtrusive as it could be. The ivory side gets discolored quicker (perhaps I didn't remove my eye makeup well enough). So I put the black against my eyes.

Doctors Best High Absorption Magnesium

I've been using magnesium supplements for several years, now, and Doctor's Best is by far the best formula that I've used. Everyone's digestive system and needs are different, of course, but I find that magnesium citrate and magnesium taurate formulas are pretty hard on my digestive tract. Chelated magnesium can help to ease these problems, but other formulas that include chelated magnesium don't always have ALL of the magnesium chelated. Those tablets are large for GOOD reason! As confirmed to me by Doctor's Best, this is currently the ONLY brand of Magnesium Glycinate which is not buffered -i.e., mixed with (usually unspecified) amounts of cheaper, *more compact*, and more-poorly-absorbed forms of magnesium like Oxide. That's why this product says "NOT Buffered" on the front label. Which explains why other brands seem to be able to make more-compact pills or capsules: They're not really 100% magnesium glycinate!

Despite this, I had avoided using this product because it unfortunately contained Bioperine (black pepper extract), which can interact with certain drugs. But since they have removed the Bioperine I've been using it and my early impression is good. Seems to cause less loose bowels than the more-typical (meaning buffered -whether they use that word or not) magnesium glycinate products I tried before. Seems to have a gentle calming effect, and my resting heart rate has been a few points lower (which is desirable in my case). I'm only taking two pills (which provides a total of 200mg elemental magnesium) per day, and I find they work best for me when taken mid-day, usually without a meal. Since the tablets are coated I don't find them hard to swallow, especially if I wash them down with a lot of water.

BTW, Doctor's Best also told me that this product contains about ten times as much glycine as lysine, which is fine with me.

Doctor's Best is a brand that continues to impress.

NOTE: Just looking at the product title, one might tend to assume that each tablet has 200mg of elemental magnesium, when again that is actually for a serving of TWO tablets. I wish Amazon would start including complete labels for supplements, to avoid that kind of misunderstanding and others. I'll buy more supplements here once they do.

I have been running on 0 for almost a year now. I have bought so many different vitamins to try and get some kind of energy going again,nothing seemed to work.When I looked at the reviews on this magnesium,I figured I had nothing to lose,wow!! Soleil Sun Alarm Clock Radio SA-3

I was shopping around for a sunrise alarm clock for a while and finally settled on this one because it was cheaper than the popular Phillips models while still having most of their more appealing features. I tried it out last night after it came in the mail, and so far I'm more or less happy with my purchase. It functions as I expected it would, and the features are nice if not top-notch. Here's a run-down of the pros and cons:

Pros:

1. Sunrise AND sunset option (but so far I'm not sure if you can do both in one night)

2. Option for 4 nature sounds, a regular alarm noise, or FM radio to wake you up after the light has finished lighting up. You can adjust the volume of any of them to suit your waking up needs.

3. White light! I am a big fan of white light, and that was the biggest factor in why I chose this specific clock over the many other yellow light options.

4. The LED bulb seems to be fairly easy to replace, will last for quite a while (according to the packaging at least), and a replacement can be purchased for a reasonable price.

5. You can adjust the sunrise duration from 15 to 90 minutes at 15 minute intervals

6. Nice compact size; fits nicely on my tiny nightstand

7. Backup battery as well as wall plug

8. The light can be used separately as a night light or lamp if you want, but I haven't been able to determine if leaving it on will interfere with your sunrise in the morning.

9. There are 10 separate light levels, with the lowest being like a really dim night light, and the brightest being about the same as a 60 Watt-equivalent compact fluorescent.

Cons:

1. The light is not bright enough to light up my 10x11 foot bedroom; at full brightness, the room looks like it would during that dim pre-dawn stage. Nevertheless, if you are facing the light with your eyes closed and the light on at full blast, it will be bright enough to convince you that it's light out. With that said, I think it would be unreasonable to expect this level of light to wake you up without some additional noise in the background, so I still set a backup alarm and turn the wake-up nature sound up really loud to make sure I get up.

2. The controls are definitely NOT intuitive. I read the instruction manual four times and still couldn't be sure that I was setting things correctly until I tried a few test runs.

3. The whole thing feels a bit rinky-dink for a $70 gadget, but that's a purely cosmetic complaint. Functionality is fine.

4. I have not figured out yet whether or not you can adjust the brightness of your sunrise. So far it seems like the default is to go from level 1 to level 10 over the amount of time you set.

5. Although the waves nature sound is convincing enough, my preferred wake-up sound (birds) sounds like an alarm clock with a chirpy beep.

6. The snooze button will be impossible to find if you are genuinely just waking up and trying to hit the snooze. It's the same size and shape as all the other buttons on the face, and it's not set apart from them at all. However, the light at its brightest is not obnoxious and you can adjust the alarm sound to a tolerable volume, so I don't anticipate ever needing to use the snooze function.

7. The LCD display can only be clearly read when the light is not on and when you look at it from a certain angle. I'm keeping my other alarm clock around to tell the time.

8. I noticed when I was testing out the sunrise function that the light comes on incrementally instead of smoothly. For example, it will stay on at level 1 for a while and then jump noticeably to the next level. My sleepy brain definitely doesn't notice this during actual use, though, so it's not a huge con.

This little clock/sun alarm is wonderful, really. Having been diagnosed with PTSD a year ago, my sleep pattern(s) well, were anything but normal. Things have shifted for the better, and I am happy to share that after some serious consideration I added this sunrise alarm clock and am pleased to say that something so simple as adding "natural progression sunrise" has helped me to sleep more solidly and steadily through the night and feel more refreshed when waking. Speaking for myself only, waking to the gradual progression of light, sorry I wont say 'natural sunlight' has a very calming and natural feel to it.

The only draw back I have to say is the "LED effect"; the lighting is gradual yes, however it (in my opinion) could be softer; this may be the LED technology. The lights are blue not a soft yellow. This makes it more noticeable, incrementally, as the clock/light awakens you. Perhaps I am more sensitive to this due to the PTSD, however I feel it's an 'LED-thing'.. Maybe the Mfg could make a yellow dome for the clock? or perhaps use a yellow LED? In any event I *do* recommend this product.

az287's very detailed review basically says all you need to know, I just wanted to add: The light is bright enough to wake me before the alarm, but I am a very light sleeper. It also seems to be having a noticeable effect on my heavy-sleeping boyfriend, but maybe that's just because I start to stir when it comes on. It is really, really poorly made, so some of the features don't work right, and programming is definitely not intuitive, but the light and alarm come on when they're supposed to, and that's kind of all I would ask from the cheapest clock of this type.

I'd recommend this for someone that's looking for the sunrise function & nature sounds that only has around $50 to spend. If you have more, go for the higher priced items, b/c, like other reviews, this is very cheaply made.

Other notes:

1. You can't use the sunset/sunrise function on same day (unless you want to reprogram, which isn't hard, just a pain, and who wants to reset their alarm everyday).

2. The nature sounds are just sounds on repeat (ex. for the birds alarm, there's a few chirps for about 5 sec., than it pauses and repeats). It's not the soothing, continuous sounds that I was expecting, but my akin to an alarm but a tad more pleasant (I can't deal w the typical alarm beat anymore).

3. One button serves multi-functions, which makes it a little unsure if you're alarm will actually go off.

Overall, I'm keeping this b/c I couldn't find a sunrise simulated alarm that also had nature sounds that was in my budget. This was not worth the money I paid b/c of how cheap it is, but I ease into waking up now, so I'm keeping it. If you can spend more, can the more expensive brands. Otherwise, this will serve it's purpose.

This was a gift, and from the start I was a little worried about the quality. It seemed like one of those cheap made in a foreign country bad translation type of gadgets. The radio doesn't have an indicator dial, so you don't know what station you are listening to. The LED light generates really bad feedback, so you can't use the light and the radio at the same time anyway. the nature sounds are hokey, and the display can only be read from a really weird angle. But, it was cheaper than all of the other ones, and the basic functions worked ok at first.

But about 3 months after I received it and started using it, it started to malfunction. I woke up to it doing a slow strobe, where it would flash on and off at long intervals. Then it started strobing faster til I thought I was going to have a seizure so I shut it off. Then it worked ok for two days, and then this morning it started making this weird clicking sound and not turning on. I was afraid it was going to short out and start a fire or something, so I unplugged it and slept in.

So that's it, it's going to Goodwill, and I'm going to buy a more expensive one that will hopefully not turn my morning into a bad techno club flashback.

Goodnites Disposable Bed Mats, 9 Count

We bought about 10 packs of these bed pads and are currently using our last pack. We just got tired of washing sheets everyday. We tried reusable bed mats but they never stayed put and the sheets got wet anyway. We have used goodnites bed mats at home and in hotel rooms on multiple family trips. I have never found them ripped by morning contrary to some reviews here. They are extremely sticky but that is exactly what we needed. The trick is to take them gently off the sheets and not just rip them off. They don't remain stuck on the sheets that way. I am very satisfied with them and just about to do another large purchase.

The tape on these stuck so good to my daughter's sheets that I could not get them off. I had to work on it 3 days with a hair dryer to melt the sticky stuff off. I ended up buying some washable pads and they are so much better!!

Zippered Protective Mattress Cover size King 78" x 80"

I was very happy to be able to order an affordable plastic cover for my mattress. The problem is that it is very thin and Kevin put his thumb through it while trying to put it on. Advil Advil Pain Reliever And Nighttime Sleep Aid

I have taken some of the other PM medicine's before I started taking Advil. However, the others always made me feel like my head weighed a ton when I got up in the morning. Phantom Black Latex Powder-Free Gloves

These gloves are easy to don / doft... much more so than the nitrile gloves... also much better fit than nitrile gloves (because it forms to your hand). Only problem is if you or your patients have a latex allegry. These are almost as good as diamond grip gloves but will break a little bit easier than diamond grip latex gloves (which is why I gave 4 stars). So unless you have a absolute need for black gloves then you would be better off with something similar to diamond grip.

For about a year I was trying all kinds of supplements to improve my health, including this one. But, I never noticed a difference, so I have quit taking this--and most of the others. L-glutamine may increase weight gain in people with HIV/AIDS who have lost weight. Malnourished cancer patients may also take glutamine to treat mouth infections that occur during chemotherapy.

SIDE EFFECTS

According to Drugs.com, serious side effects of glutamine include chest pain, hearing problems or infections. Less serious side effects include nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, swelling, muscle pain, headaches, rashes or sweating. According to UMMC, you should not take L-glutamine if you have kidney disease, liver disease or Reye's syndrome. L-glutamine may increase the effectiveness of some forms of chemotherapy; however, it may also stimulate tumor growth.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not take L-glutamine if you have cancer, unless directed by your doctor to do so. You should not take more than 15 g per day, and elderly people may need to take less if they have decreased kidney function. Do not mix L-glutamine powder with hot liquids because heat destroys it. You should not take glutamine if you are pregnant. Only take glutamine supplements under the guidance of your doctor.

I'd had several recommendations to use L-Glutamine as an adjunct in weight loss--to aid in the cravings for sweets. I've had some success in losing weight, but still wanted those sugary items. I added the L-Glutamine, twice daily, and there has been no difference whatsoever. This is a terrific item and great purchase. This is the second of these I have purchased. I purchased the first one for myself to mainly prevent my cat from chewing on the tubing... SO WORTH IT for that and it helps keep the condensation down within the tube. I purchased this second one for my boyfriend so my cat would not chew on his tubing either, he loves it also.

I have never been disappointed by any Resmed product and am not disappointed by this tubing wrap. I must warn any user of a VPAP (not a CPAP or other single tube breathing device) that this wrap will not fit easily over a tube that also has a luer tube attached. I would recommend using a respirator tube sock in its place.

Originally they sent the right invoice but wrong product, a tube. I contacted them and mentioned what a drag it would be for me, with current (walking pain at extreme level) disability would make it difficult to return, much less stand in those long post office lines. They just sent me the right item and no return was necessary. The Tubing Wrap looks nice, goes on easily, a little hard to keep the thing in place right to the end on each end, but no doubt I could find a simple way if I put time into it. I'd recommend this product and company.

I am not sure if it is keeping the heat in, but it sure makes the hose quieter when it moves. Plus it makes it easier to adjust since the ridges in the tubes are covered. I don't care if it is keeping the tube warm, it was worth every penny for the convenience that it provides.

The hose cover does the job it should. No problems with the zipper. It is actually a little long for the hose, but that is not really a problem. Definitely reduces the noise of the hose rubbing the nightstand all night long.

Don't listen to random people who learn about things like this through Dr. Oz. Same goes for any product with a review of this nature. You see review all over the place that say something to the effect of "saw this on Dr. Oz and it's crap because it didn't work for me." Any condition one is dealing with is specific to them and needs a specific fix. Anyone having serious sleep problems will most likely not pass out asleep from simply taking some Jujube extract. There are more complex formulas for this. Taking the jujube along with melatonin or tryptophan (zenbev) and magnolia root (relora) would be much more effective. Taking the Chinese formula Suan Zau Ren Tang would be more effective than taking the jujube alone. All that being said there is also a place for the jujube extract on it's own.

Anyone citing Dr. Oz as their source of info probably doesn't do any sort of serious health study. Alsonotice how fast Dr. Oz needs to talk during the show. He's cramming as much info into the show as possible. It can be really good info at times and it is also far from comprehensive. If you really want to know what works for you go to a professional who has been using applied and or clinical kinesiology for many years in their practice and then you will make fast progress... and if the person you're seeing isn't getting you effects then go to another practitioner.

Final pointJujube and many other herbs work great if you know how to use them and watching Dr. Oz without consulting a professional will most likely produce some success accompanied by frustrating and money wasting purchases.

aden + anais Terry Hooded Towel and Muslin Washcloth Set

I was hesitant to order this based on another review where they said it was made for Target. I love Aden & Anais products so decided to order it and return it if it was the cheaper Target version. All of the A&A sold at Target clearly states on the tag "Aden & Anais for Target". It arrived in the original packaging and didn't mention anything about Target. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it since it ended up being the same high quality product of the other Aden & Anais items I own.

I am head over heals in love with the *real* Aden and Anais stuff, and this is it. The fabrics are so soft and beautiful and generally this line is really really well made. Gorgeous gift quality even. But OMG, what is the obsession with the gigantic tags everywhere? These are the type of tags that are sewn into the hem, so you either have to cut them off, leaving a scratchy edge, or else try to pry them from the hem without damaging the stitching or the gorgeous fabric (I always end up with holes). And believe me, these tags are some of the biggest I have ever seen. The washcloth tag takes up about 1/16 of the entire thing. The hooded towel has two... one is sewn in the hem and the other is INSIDE the hood, where baby's head goes. Seriously?!?? You would think a line dedicated to baby would know better.

I received this towel and washcloth set in Bathing Beauty from my baby registry. I was really excited to get it because I've heard such great things about Aden+Anais. However, after ONE wash to clean the product for baby's first use, I noticed the seam had ripped along the hood of the towel and was coming undone!! There was nothing else in the washing machine except other washcloths, so it's not like it could've gotten caught on something. I am extremely disappointed with this towel. I don't know if I got a defective set or if all of the towels are of poor quality, but I plan to contact the company about the issue.

EDIT: I contacted amazon.com and was offered a refund for the product.

I own the aden + anais swaddle blankets and love them, so I thought I would love this set, but it's not worth the price. I don't think there is anything special about the terry towel that warrants the price tag. Yes, it's larger and thicker than most cheapo baby towels, but for a few extra bucks, you can get a large, nice baby towel. This particular towel is way pricier than most quality baby towels. The muslin wash cloth is super soft, but I find that it's too big for a baby. Maybe when my little one is a toddler. I give it three stars because I like the product, but I just don't think it's worth the price tag.

Custom Hard Night Teeth Grinding Guard

I recently lost my 150 dollar night guard I bought from an orthodontist and replaced it with this. I tried some from the store of comparable price, and it was pathetic how bad they were. this one is just as thin, well-fitting and durable as the orthodontist's more expensive version.

First there is no way to track the progress of your guard after you send the molds back. I was beginning to wonder if i had been scammed as long as I had to wait. It did arrive with the case as advertised, but I've had to do some trimming on it to make it fit without rubbing or squeezing to tightly between my teeth. The material is extremely thin and pliable so i'm not sure this will last long, surely not the 5 years my hard acrylic guard lasted me.

In short:

It does what it's supposed to do, but it isn't the best fit and finish and is extremely thin compared to the one I had made by my dentist. I'm not sure how long this will hold up but it's better than nothing at the moment. I'm not sure that I would by this product again.

It took a long time to receive these back. Like another reviewer, I was beginning to wonder if I had been scammed. When I finally did receive them, it was extremely thin in certain parts and didn't fit right. It felt like the guard was trying to move my teeth (sort of like braces). It hurt and I ended up throwing the guard away.

In the end, I switched to a different guard, also sold on Amazon (Dental Hygiene Preferred Complete Day/Night Mouth Guard Kit) and have been much happier.

I messed up the first mold and was sent replacement putty with no questions askedfor free and immediately. I have ordered a retainer from a different well known online manufacturer and the customer service was poor, so this was a wonderful surprise. Everything was more professional from sporting smiles, from the website down to the packaging materials, but at a similar price.

Molding materials arrived within the week, and the final product took about 3 weeks. It is much thinner than the one my orthodontist made me (I'll have to see if this can survive intensive grinding!) and feels and looks good. Hopefully this works out... So far, so good.
