Adult's Warm Milk Chewables - 30 - Chewable

Adult's Warm Milk Chewables - 30 - ChewableMy Mother and I both have trouble sleeping and so we decided to give these a try. My Mother has trouble swallowing pills so I thought that this being a chewable would be good. These "Warm Milk" pills not only taste wonderful, but, they gently keep you sleeping. Both of us noticed that they helped us to relax and we slept better. No drugged up feeling in the morning either! Since both of us are on different medications were were happy to find something that doesn't interact with them. A gentle sleep aid that doesn't konk you out, like a drug, but, does seem to help one sleep deeper.

Has a mild effect not a knock out effect. Interestingly it does work if you are at the end of the day but it does not knock me out at mid afternoon if wide awake.

Works really well for me , they taste really sweet like a vanilla cupcake. Great natural alternative to sleeping pills. Not an instant, "knock you right out" fix, but relaxes you and lulles you to sleepy land. Will purchase again.

I've been struggling to get off sleep meds for a while. I am pretty happy with this product. It's yummy, natural, and after 1/2 hour or so after taking it I feel ready to sleep. Not completely off the sleep meds yet, but have been able to cut my dosage in half, then in thirds. Have not been able to do this before using melatonin or going cold turkey. Exercise helps, too, and I know I'll be meds-free soon.

Organic Lavender Silk Eye Pillow in Pink and Green Art Nouveau Design

Organic Lavender Silk Eye Pillow in Pink and Green Art Nouveau DesignI wanted to love this product. If fact for the first few hour I did. It's beautiful. Smells lovely. It's the perfect size and weight. I am however extremely allergic to either the scent or whatever they filled it with and ended up spending the night wheezing, and the next few days recovering from itchy eyes, sinus drainage and a sore throat. I still think it's a great product, just maybe not for someone with allergies or asthma. The packaging was nice, the print on the fabric was exactly as pictured and it arrived quickly.

Deja Vu Dead Sea Minerals Night Repair Cream

Deja Vu Dead Sea Minerals Night Repair CreamThis is a product that you see in malls at a kiosk. I try to avoid them as much as possible and the sales people are always a little pushy. I don't know how, but one of the girls actually got my attention and I reluctantly went over to the booth. I just had a manicure so I thought I was safe as all they ever want to do is put lotion on your hands. I am very glad I stopped. I made a joke that if she had a miracle product that would take the wrinkles away I would buy it. She tried putting it on my hand and I informed her that putting it on my hand wouldn't tell me anything so she dabbed it on my unwilling husband before he knew what was happening. I literally could see the lines around his eyes soften within minutes. Makeup and all, I put a dab around my own and on my forehead. It is the most amazing product I have seen. I had a product once do the same thing, but it burned. This was very hydrating, softened all of the lines on my face. Mine are just fine lines now so I cannot attest to how it would do on deeper wrinkles, but hopefully with this product I won't have to find out. Worth every penny.

This cream typically sells for about $80. at my local mall. This is an unbelievable price (approx. $25.) and I was thrilled to find it. And it arrived at my home the next day after I ordered it! The cream is thick and cool and I can feel my face nicely tightening when I apply it. I only use it once a week. I really believe it helps your skin maintain a youthful glow. I am nearly 60 and people are blown away when I tell them my age. I always get compliments on my "beautiful skin." I have to be careful what I use on my face it is so sensitive and I can get red blotches when I try something new. But Deju Vu caused no side effects. Hopefully more of this line will be sold on Amazon such as the facial peel. I'll certainly be looking! Thank you.

LOCARED Professional Anti Stop Snore Snoring Chin Strap Belt (Adjustable-One size fits all)

LOCARED Professional Anti Stop Snore Snoring Chin Strap BeltI was initially happy with the strap, but felt that it lost elasticity too soon and that I will need to order another one already.

According to my husband, I am still snoring so I guess this strap hasn't helped much. I go into a deep sleep so I cannot be the judge as I don't hear my own snoring. I had hoped it would work so that I no longer had to use the CPAP machine, which is uncomfortable and bothersome, but I guess I have to go back to it. At least, it works better than this chin strap, so I am told.

Although the seller is promoting this chin strap to snorers, I decided to try it to keep my mouth closed for my CPAP and ASV breathing machines. I had already tried four others with varying degrees of success and basic dissatisfaction. I found it to be the most comfortable chin strap of the five that I now own. Based on my experience, I can recommend that obstructive and central sleep apnea patients who are still looking for a chin strap that suits them give this one a try

5 X Outdoor Travel Sleep Rest Eye Mask Shades Blindfold PeachpuffThey work surprisingly well, and keep out a good 95% of the light (I still get some light by my nose) but they don't make you feel claustrophobic, and are nice and light to wear. Not to mention, with 5 of them, you can pretty much keep one where you anticipate needing one (bedside table, camping gear, inside your suitcase for when you need, etc.)

You clearly get what you pay for. These masks are paper thin and not comfortable. Save your money or spend a little more on a better quality mask.

Potassium Citrate 99 mg 120 Caps by Swanson Ultra

Potassium Citrate 99 mg 120 Caps by Swanson UltraGot a uric acid kidney stone that got stuck in my uterer and required a stent be inserted. After doing so online research, I used the potassium citrate to help with dissolving the stone and it worked (along with a lot of fluids every day for 3 months). The urologist insisted that the stone was still there, but when they pulled the stent, it was gone.

Enzymatic Therapy L-Theanine

Enzymatic Therapy L-Theanine, 60 Vegetarian CapsulesI found L-theanine has a huge effect on my sleeping. I have always slept 9 to 10 hours a night and quite often still did not feel as though I had enough sleep.

Now I take 100mg of L-theanine when I go to bed and another 100mg when I wake in the middle of the night to go to the toilet. I split the dose as I don't think it quite lasts 8 hours.

Now I need an hour LESS sleep every night and I feel a lot more rested during the day. This has helped me gain another hour of life every day. I switched to the powder form, 20 Grams L-Theanine Bulk Powder because I read that it absorbs faster into the bloodstream which seems to be true from as far as I can tell. The powder also is cheaper which makes sense I guess because there's no capsules to charge for.

I also take L-theanine during the day and it does help with the social anxiety I have usually throughout the day, but more so with sleeping.

This problem has helped immensely with anxiety thoughts and has put me into a serene state of mind. I was skeptical at first but i definitely have noticed a difference, especially at night when my mind tends to drift into an abyss of restless thoughts. While this definitely works to ease the mind, i also recommend Natural Vitality Natural Calm, oz, 16 powder to ease the body. You will definitely feel a great difference. Best of luck.

I've struggled with anxiety for a long time and am very happy to have found something safe and natural to help me manage it. I plan to recommend this product to my mom and sister when I go out with them later today, it's that good.

After dealing with the physical ramifications of anxiety and stress for years, such as trouble sleeping, staying asleep, and generalized worry, I found out about L-Theanine. It was the primary ingredient in a sleep aid I purchased. After reading the label and seeing what mainly comprised the sleep aid, I read up on the benefits of L-Theanine and thought it definitely worth giving a try. There is no sleepy feeling from this supplement, since it is an amino acid. I notice a definitely better ability to cope with my anxiety from using this product, and I sleep much better, taking 400 mg in the morning, and 400 mg in the early evening. So glad I discovered this product.

Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Changing Pad

Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Changing PadI had to REALLY convince my husband that this changing pad was worth the price. He's now 100% convinced. Our baby loves to hang out on the changing pad. We don't know why, but every once in a while he will get fussy and we put him on this to calm him down. I'm not suggesting that the pad will calm other babies. However, since our little one spends so much time on the changing pad, we are so glad that there aren't any nasty pthlates, PVC, or other bad stuff in it. It gives us peace of mind to know that he's not breathing any of that in while he's laying there.

As a first-time mom-to-be it did not occur to me how much time I would be spending with my baby on his changing table. Not just changing diapers and clothing but interacting (real quality time). What I did think about was that I wanted to purchase as many baby products as I could that were organic and free of the chemicals added to so many items. I am very happy I purchased the Naturepedic Organic Cotton Changing Pad. I get peace of mind knowing that it is organic. It is a very well-made and thick pad and has a water-resistant cover (which is absolutely essential). The contouring adds peace of mind that he can't roll too much and it is great that we were able to screw the pad to the top of his changing table with the attached straps and screws. I would recommend to any new parent that they purchase a really good quality changing pad like this one.

This pad is much firmer than the cheaper contour pads made of foam. It is made from higher quality materials and I am confident it will last much longer than the cheaper pads. Equate - Sleep Aid 50 mg, Maximum Strength, 96 Softgels (Compare to Unisom)

Equate - Sleep Aid 50 mg, Maximum Strength, 96 SoftgelsI'm 5'11" and ~190 lbs. After taking one of the 50 mg. tablets I'll start to feel drowsy after about 30-45 mins. After about 60-90 minutes it will take full effect (as in I'll feel like I haven't slept in about 24 hours). I don't usually feel much in the way of residual effects (i.e. morning drowsiness). Although it will take me a little longer to get going in the morning; it usually wears off after a couple of hours. One thing I have noticed though is I feel more dehydrated than usual in the morning, but that could just be me. Regardless, based on the cost and effectiveness; I recommend this product.

Product works great and I have bought it before, will continue to buy. Worst part is that they do not ship to APO/AE, so the product had to be shipped to the states then shipped overseas.

Dream Essentials Snooz Silky Soft Sleep Mask ~ Pink

Dream Essentials Snooz Silky Soft Sleep Mask ~ PinkThis sleep mask does NOT block out light. With this sleep mask on and my eyes closed, light still bothers me, even if the light is only from the TV. The mask is pretty transparent and the fabric is not blackout like described.

The product pictured is not the item I received. The fabric on both sides is like the fabric they use in tracksuits or tents, and not silky like in the picture. There's a piece of black fabric that goes across the bridge of your nose, and the color of the item actually received is a lighter shade of pink.

I wouldn't recommend this sleep mask at all, not for anyone with any intended use for it!

For one thing, and this is enough reason not to buy it, IT BROKE IMMEDIATELY!!! One of its two thin straps came out at the seam the first time I slipped it gently on, and it's not designed to do that. There's no way to reattach it into a buckle or snap or anything like that. The quality of the product is just too poor to make it useful or worthwhile at any cost. I actually felt like it was a low-quality product the moment I held it in my hands and looked at it. But when the strap broke right away, I realized it truly was junk and I couldn't even give it away.

For another thing, it is TOO SMALL! It must have been designed for very tiny people or children. I have a small head, narrow face, and am thin as well as small-boned. I tried this thing both with and without its useless nose flap deployed (and who wants their nostrils covered while sleeping, being forced to mouth breathe?). This mask presses in on my eyelids (the skin itself, not just the eyelashes) on the outside parts of them. It does this to a very significant degree and is extremely uncomfortable to wear. I couldn't possibly fall asleep with this thing on, and wouldn't even be able to leave on my face if NOT trying to sleep due to the discomfort it creates. It presses something that isn't soft (as the surface isn't) into a good-sized portion of my eyelids constantly! No one wants this feeling from mask such as this, I would expect. In addition to pressing in on the eyelids, which I haven't had ANY other mask do like this (and I've tried many), it has the more common problem of pressing on my eyelashes, which I experience as uncomfortable as well.

Further, it does NOT block out light or vision, and the nose flap mentioned above is useless in this endeavor. As with most masks, it particularly allows space below the eyes where light and vision can easily and unavoidably seep through. I tried it repeatedly with and without the nose flap in use, and no matter what I did, it made no progress on keeping out a significant amount of light and viewable area below the eyes, no matter how I positioned it. Of course, once the strap broke (within a minute or two tops), the point was moot as I realized it was useless junk. Plus, just because of the pressing feeling against my eyelids, neither of those issues mattered. If not for one reason, then for another, this mask is useless.

In fairness, I'll note that I've found that that most, perhaps all that I've tried, of low-cost sleep masks such as this one allow for light and vision below the eyes, are uncomfortable, and are ultimately not useful at all to me. Most tend to get quickly added to the "useless things I wasted money on and now need to give or throw away" pile. Perhaps the matter of light leaking through and the ability to see out the bottom of a mask may be partially due to the inherently-difficult shape of the typical human face when trying to block eyesight and light. The nose just tends to make it difficult to get something that'll lay flat and seal out light below the eyes, even if the top and sides can more easily be sealed up in many models.

ON THE OTHER HAND, there's no point in paying even a low price for something not functional at all. The mask isn't worth enough to make it worth the cost and time of returning it, assuming that's allowed for this product after you've tried it on. So if you don't find it useful, as I imagine just about anyone is likely not to, you might find that you just have to eat the cost and get absolutely nothing you can use or even give away for your money. If sleep requires sleep aids such as this, then any source of additional discomfort introduced by those sleep aids is counter-productive and not worthwhile even if it were free of charge. If you want the mask just to block out vision or light, but not when sleeping, then comfort might not matter as much but likely still matters to you. Who wants to have something on that doesn't feel good? Regardless, it still won't do very well at blocking light or vision unless it's okay for it to only block some of the light and view, but not all of it. That may be all you want from it for all I know. Personally, I wouldn't use this mask or give it away even if they were free of charge in unlimited quantity and each one used saved a cute puppy's life.

Given the low price and higher-quality products out there, it may seem odd to buy such a cheap item and then be disappointed in the results. But the quest to find something that would block out light effectively while also being comfortable was worth the effort, and sometimes an inexpensive product can be better than a higher-priced item. I bought a number of different sleep masks at the same time in an effort to find even one that'd work well in blocking out light while not feeling uncomfortable, and I thought this was cheap enough to warrant a shot at it. I was wrong this time!

For flat and lightweight sleep masks, I recommend trying the following instead. It's very comfortable, less than twice the cost of the one reviewed here (about $5.00 more when I bought them), and it's actually useful (unlike this Dream Essentials one). I got one with a lavender scent that's beautiful and comforting to smell as well. I think it has real lavendar in it. Here it is:

Malem Ultimate Bedwetting Alarm - Blue 1 Tone w/Vibration

Malem Ultimate Bedwetting Alarm - Blue 1 Tone w/Vibration
  • #1 Recommended Alarm.A clinically effective approach to stop bedwetting.FSA-eligible
  • New and improved for 2013,this alarm combines light, sound and vibration to help even the deepest sleeper wake
  • Compact, comfortable and lightweight, measuring 2 inches square and weighs just 2oz
  • Small, easy-clip sensor is simple to use and eliminates the hassle of messy tape or mini-pads
  • Alarm box is backed by a 1 year warranty. CE Mark and FDA registered.

We read the books, limited liquids but nothing worked. We decided to give the bed wetting alarm a shot because I had heard good things regarding alarms. My son is 7.5 yrs and we knew it was time to get serious about this. According to the product's manual it said it takes on average 10 to 11 weeks for success, but I'm happy to say after 4 weeks we had no more wet nights. This alarm is much more expensive then other alarms, but I bought this one because it vibrates and also beeps when the child starts to wet. In addition it's really easy to use. No sewing involved like in some of the cheaper versions. This one just clipped onto his underware and that was it. To make it even easier in the beginning when we first started we had our son clip the alarm to his underware and then put a "Goodnight" pull up over that so the only clean up was the underpants. It worked like a charm and it was well worth the money not only for us but of course for our son.

Buy Malem Ultimate Bedwetting Alarm - Blue 1 Tone w/Vibration Now

I bought this out of complete desperation. I did not think it would work, and really felt that I probably just wasted $100 of my hard-earned money. Man, was I wrong!!! I don't know how it worked, but it did, and I am thrilled. The alarm was for my 7 year old son, who never had a dry night in his life. The first 15 nights were brutal....he either woke up screaming from fear (the first few times it goes off, it seems so incredibly loud), or he slept thru it (hard to believe, I know). Then, on the 16th night, he woke up BEFORE the alarm went off...and went pee. This has now happened for 5 nights IN A ROW. I'm not waiving the Victory Flag quite yet, but all signs are that I will be able to wave it soon.

I gave the alarm 4 stars (not 5) because I think it could use some improvement, plus the thing really comes w/very few tips on how to use it successfully. I had to search all over the internet for those tips, and I will pass them on here (a bit later in the review).

The alarm is pinned on to the pj's, w/a big, old-fashioned baby safety pin. Not only does that look dorky, it puts holes in the pj's! I would think some sort of magnet (like they have on name badges) would work much better, and look better too. The instructions tell you to pin the alarm on the OUTSIDE of the pj's, but when you do that, it flops all around. And since the pin is on the top of the unit, it has a tendancy to "flop" around if it's pinned to the outside shoulder of the pj's. So I pinned it to the INSIDE of my son's jammies, to kind of hold it in one place, which seems to work.

The instructions tell you not to unplug the "jack" portion of the alarm (they never say WHY you shouldn't do this) to get it to stop alarming, but that's exactly what I did, just to save some time, and to get the thing to stop screaming as quickly as possible. When your kid has to pee RIGHT NOW, the last thing you want to be doing is fumbling w/the "clip" around the crotch of their undies. I just had my son take off his wet underpants, and I undid the clip at that time. When I got the dry underpants all rigged up w/the clip again, I just plugged the "jack" back into the alarm unit, and pushed the reset button (the reset button does NOT turn off the alarm). Also, I found that the "sensor" had to be blown-dry (for about 15 seconds or so) after it went off, or it would just alarm immediately, even on a dry pair of undies. That entire process can be quite cumbersome in the middle of the night, especially when you have to do it 2,3 or even 4 times per night. That's why I did not give the alarm 5 stars.

And now for some tips:

1. Do NOT allow your child to hoodwink you into making the alarm use vibration alone. They will sleep thru the alarm (trust me on that one).

2. Do NOT put on a pull-up OVER the underwear. Part of the learning process is letting the child "feel the pee".

3. The second week is harder than the first, so don't be discouraged.

4. Do NOT turn the alarm off until your child is standing at the toilet (or sitting if it's a girl), ready to pee. The child needs to REMEMBER the alarm going off, and then getting up to go pee. If they don't remember that, it's not going to work.

5. Do NOT withold liquids a few hours before bedtime. In fact, do the opposite.

6. If your child does not wake up when the alarm goes off, then turn on the light in their room, and say their name over and over. Don't whipser their name, but don't scream it either...just said it in a normal voice. If that still doesn't work (this happened w/my son during week #2), then get a washcloth wet with cold water, and swab their face, arms, legs until they DO wake up. Make sure the alarm is still alarming during all of this. VERY IMPORTANT!!! They have to learn to listen to the signal that their brain sends, telling them to get up and GO PEE.

So there you have it. Like I said earlier, I had ZERO confidence that this thing would cure my son of bedwetting, but it proved me wrong. Yeah, it's expensive, but it is so worth it!!!

Our 9 year old had had perhaps a handful of dry nights in his life, so we were ready to try the alarm. First of all, the thing is really tiny, about half a pack of cards, so it really doesn't get in the way too much. The blue unit attaches to their pajama top with a big, well-protected safety pin, and that is attached to the detection part (which is a small clip about 1cm by 2cm), which clips into their underpants (easy for boys with Y-fronts, not sure what people do for girls).

I STRONGLY recommend buying the alarm with the book we bought at the same time "Waking up Dry" by Howard Bennett. It explains what the real statistics on bedwetting are, the biology of urination, what your child is going through and how to be ready to use the alarm. The time the child spends doing their "homework" (nothing to it really, but will help them stick to the task and make it seem do-able). The book should be compulsory reading for all parents with a bed-wetting child, and its written so that it can be read easily (and understood) by children.

After a couple weeks getting ready, we finally tried the alarm. The combination of the vibration and alarm sound was VERY good at waking him up, and he's a heavy sleeper. The first thing this showed us was that he was typically peeing twice a night and sometimes 3 times!! We wondered how long it was going to take, because from my research bedwetters that age are typically only going once a night. However, within the first week he was already waking himself to go to the bathroom BEFORE the alarm went off. It only took a few nights before when it did go off, he was able to stop the pee so quickly that the sheets did not get wet at all, and he did 90% of the pee in the toilet. Halleluja!!! Its now 2 months later and he's not using the alarm, and we're almost 100% dry... Between the alarm and the book its the best $100 you'll ever spend on your child. Truly amazing.

My daughter is 11 years old and hadn't had more than a handful of dry nights in her life. I was skeptical that an alarm would work for her because she is a very heavy sleeper. In the past when we have woken her during the night to go to the bathroom she would not remember it the next morning.

After a week with the alarm we started seeing progress. This alarm has both a sound and vibration and it woke her every time. After a few nights with the alarm waking her she was able to unhook it and take care of everything without any help. My daughter has now been completely dry for three weeks and we are going to stop using the alarm this week! Like many of the reviews I read before buying this alarm, I wish we had tried this years ago.

One of the most helpful tips I read in the product reviews was to put your child in regular underwear, but to let them where Goodnights or Pull-ups over the underwear. This worked great for us. The first couple of nights when the alarm woke her, her bed was not wet so she just had to change her underwear and Goodnight. After that, she woke up so quickly that she only had to change her underwear because the Goodnight was still dry.

Can't say enough about this product. We are so glad we finally tried it!

I stumbled on this item as I was researching night time potty training for my 6.5 year girl. She really wanted to get out of pull-ups but is a heavy sleeper and just was not waking up. I had tried limiting drinks, having her go right before she went to bed and waking her up a couple times at night but it was not working. I bought this alarm and the Priva Ultra Plus Waterproof Sheet Protector, 34" x 52", White (so I could stop changing sheets in the night) The alarm comes with a chart to track progress which I use and have found very helpful (an I am not the tracking type).

The first night it went off about 10 minutes after I put her down. I figured out she wanted to know what it would be like in the night fair enough. That night and two more nights, it went off about 11 PM and 5 AM pretty consistently. The 4th night the alarm went off once at 4 AM with slightly damp panties. After that she started either getting up to go potty or not needing to go until the morning. We were dry until the 10th night the alarm went off once very damp panties. Since then we have been dry.

It has been 4.5 weeks sine we started this process. Three weeks after starting the alarm we stopped using the alarm but I have kept the sheet protector on until we get done with the progress chart which is a total of 6 weeks about a 10 more days to go.

I would call this a HUGE success!

Hyland's Insomnia, Tablets, 100 tablets (Pack of 3)

Hyland's Insomnia, Tablets, 100 tabletsI've been using this product for 3 years by now. I don't have severe insomnia, so I do not have prescibed sleeping pills. But just like everyone, I do have some nights, hard to fall a sleep, nervous break down, or frustrated and freaked out that my heart pounds like crazy. I take this pill (2-3 at once) and it makes me calm down. I love this product since there is no chemical used. It's all herbs, so you don't get addicted like other chemicals.

Have used this product about a half dozen times and it seems to work as described. Relaxes me sufficiently to fall asleep within a short period of time after ingestion.

I really like Hyland's Insomnia. It is pleasant to the taste and works quickly.

I have taken it right before I went to bed and it worked just O.K. However if I place a few under my tongue right as I am turning off the lights, it works really well. It relaxes me so that I can drift off.

I hope they don't change the formula because 'calms' and 'night-forte' taste terrible...seems like a company has a good product and they stop making it to make something worse.

If I use it too many nights in a row I get a headache.

It works really well though I usually take 2 or three and I fall asleep naturally...no sudden coma or anything.

I stocked up because I tried the other Hyland sleep pills and they taste so bad I can't use them.

Ortho-pedic Contour Pillow With This 4 Inch Thick Soft Sleeper 6.5 Memory Foam Mattress Pad Topper,

Ortho-pedic Contour Pillow With This Soft Sleeper 6.5 Cal King 4 Inch Memory Foam Mattress Pad Topper, Orthopedic Contour Pillow Made From 100% Visco Elastic Memory FoamI had recently moved to California from Hawaii and had been sleeping on my roommate's spare futon mattress. When we moved to another house a few months later, I got a free futon couch frame from a co-worker, and figured that I would get a mattress to make use of it as my bed.

I strained my lower back building the couch frame, and was pretty much out of commission for 2 weeks.

Just to let you know, I'm a pretty athletic guy. I work out everyday, do martial arts, very active lifestyle. I usually get my back pains from these kinds of things.

Sleeping on the new futon mattress I bought was a nightmare. As springy as it was, it didn't give my back the kind of support it needed. I had a hard time getting out of bed for those 2 weeks, let me tell you!

My roommate, seeing me waddle around like an old man, suggested that I get a foam memory topper from Costco. I was a bit reluctant at first, as these things cost over $100. What if the topper wasn't the right one for you? Instead of buying immediately, I decided to do some research to see what would be a good choice for me. Back pain and strain is something I've been afflicted with multiple times. What's a few more days of agony? ;-)

All my research led me to this 6.5 Full 4 Inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper. I was either going to get this or the 5. I decided on the 6.5, as I was afraid that the 5 might be a bit too soft (I've been sleeping on harder beds throughout my life rather than softer).

The mattress came in a small box about the size of a Playstation 3 box about 3-5 days after I ordered it. It was waiting at my front door as I left for work.

I unpacked it, left it out for about 24 hours, applied it to my futon mattress, and then lay on it. I wasn't used to it at all, and ended up tossing and turning for a few hours because of the heat retention. But once I did pass out, I didn't want to wake up! It was the best sleep I've had in a really long time!

I really do look forward to going to bed now, as it really is comfortable.

If you're looking for a topper because of back or body pains, or because you want a good nite's sleep, make sure you research. If you are used to sleeping on harder surfaces, make sure you get a larger pounds per foot number (6.5 vs 5). Thickness is also an important factor. You usually want 3-inches or thicker.

I'm definitely happy with my purchase. And I hope this review helps anyone who needs a foam memory topper to purchase the right one for them.

I'm an average build guy. I'm 5'10" and 170 Lbs. I bought the product, received the product and unpackaged the product like it said, which was essentially just letting it set for 48 hours before use.

After about the 3rd use, the indention of my body never recovered. The indention actually became permanent. I originally thought that this was normal. However, after continued use, I noticed that my back AND now neck were more sore than before I started using this memory foam. My theory would suggest that when my body falls back into the permanent indention, the effect of having my head and neck "raised" above normal due to the fact that my head would not create an indention, my back and now neck are significantly out of alignment.

I would not recommend this product at all.

I left my very nice and expensive Simmons bed behind along with my husband. I really regretted leaving the bed. Every other bed was too hard or too soft and my back just plain HURT. I could NOT afford to get a new Simmons bed, so I tried this memory foam topper on the cheap-used-hard-as-a-rock-bed I was using. I have slept much better at night, and felt much better during the day. Far less stiff and painful. FAR LESS. The quality of life I have gained from my hundred+ dollar investment was worth every penny and more. It's just so darn comfortable!! My sister and her husband sleep on my bed when they visit, and they are very also very impressed with this mattress topper. I highly reccommend giving this a shot. And you can't beat the free shipping when it weighs in over 20 lbs!!!

UPDATE**The review I wrote was for a 5.5 mattress topper, which is no longer available. Somehow my review got moved to this item, which is 6.5 density. I would not go with a higher density. As a matter of fact, I am looking for a new memory foam topper with a LOWER density, after my mom ordered one,and it felt even better than mine, which I didn't think was possible. After several years on my topper, new aches and pains are starting to arise, which are greatly increased on nights when I sleep somewhere else. SO either my topper is shot, or I just need to look at a lower density one. Also, wikipedia mentioned that densities above 5 are realy used for mattress toppers. SO this may a good compromise for two people, if one wants firm, and the other wants memory foam. Also, I woould get nothing less than 4"....I tried a 3" topper on a twin bed, thinking it would be fine....but nope, I can tell the difference. GO for the full four inches

Futuro Night Plantar Fasciitis Sleep Foot Support, Adjustable, Model No : 48507 - 1 Ea

Futuro Night Plantar Fasciitis Sleep Foot Support, Adjustable, Model No : 48507 - 1 EaIf you're reading this, you either think you have or have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. One day in early July out of the blue my left heel started to hurt. I've never had foot problems so I didn't think much about it. Two days later I could barely walk. Every step was sheer agony. After some checking on the internet I quickly realized I had the classic symptoms of plantar fasciitis, i.e., the pain would decrease very slightly after walking for awhile (I found out that was because the ligament was being stretched), the pain was always so much worse after driving, and in the morning the first step upon getting out of bed was absolutely excruciating. I followed doctor's orders. I iced it, did all the stretching exercises and rolled my foot around on a frozen soup can. Nothing seemed to help. The doctor never once mentioned using a night splint. I ordered this splint after reading about it in a plantar fasciitis on-line chat room. It completely lived up to its promise. It arrived much sooner than anticipated and after using it for 3 or 4 nights I could walk again without having to hold onto the furniture and wanting to scream out in agony. After using it for about 10 nights I was completely pain free and have been ever since. It simply keeps your foot in the proper position while you sleep so the ligament can heal. It's not uncomfortable at all and never interfered with my getting a good night's sleep. If you've been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, take my advice. Do not hesitate. Do not hobble around in agony for weeks like I did. Order this immediately. I wish I had known about it sooner.

After weighing all the options, I decided to try the Futuro night splint for my plantar fasciitis. The Futuro has a strip of plastic in front and the rest is soft fabric with velcro fasteners. By the way, the info on the box says: ". . . The adjustable fasteners create a customized fit for most body types. Measure the circumference approximately 2" above the ankle bone." "Adjust to fit 8-15 inches." So, if the measurement of your leg above your ankle bone is less than 8 inches or more than 15 inches, this splint will either be too big or too small for you. My leg measures 12 inches and I wear a size 11 women's shoe. The splint is comfortable to wear and has helped to alleviate the horrible heel pain I had every morning when I got out of bed.

This summer my plantar fasciitis flared up worse than it ever has. After a day on my feet, I was limping and almost in tears from the pain. My sister had a similar problem a few years ago and found a night splint brought her relief when nothing else did. Not wanting to invest $50.00 or more in a night splint when I wasn't sure it would help me, I opted to buy the less expensive Futuro Sleep Support.

Initially, the support made a big difference in my pain level. That first step out of bed in the morning was not as excruciating as it had been and my pain was less during the day. Unfortunately, the improvement only lasted a few days, and then the support did not seem to make a difference and I stopped wearing it consistently after a couple of weeks.

So I consulted a physical therapist who specializes in the treatment of foot/gait problems. He thought the sleep support would be somewhat helpful, though not as much as an actual sleep split, and recommended I resume wearing it. After six weeks of treatment, including stretching and strengthening exercises, my feet were much improved. I continue the regimen of exercises and wear the sleep support most nights. I have resumed my exercise walking and still am mostly pain-free.

If you have minor plantar fasciitis, the Futuro sleep support alone might help. However, if your pain level is severe, as mine was, I do not think this support alone would bring relief from pain, but as part of a more involved treatment plan it might have some benefit.

I found it almost impossible to adjust it to keep my foot in the proper position. If I made it loose enough that it didn't cut off circulation in my foot (or calf), then it would slip down the calf and my foot would end up pretty much in its normal position. If I made things tight enough to somewhat hold my foot in the position it should be in for a device like this, then my toes would start to tingle and foot fall asleep right away or there would bee a lot of pressure on my lower leg/ calf area.

Basically, if your foot flexes downward (away from the knee, which is what you're trying to prevent) then it just causes the velcro around the calf to slide down unless you make everything incredibly tight.

Like some others, I had to rip it off after not wearing it for very long in order for me to fall asleep (rather than just having my foot asleep, that is).

I think the concept of "pulling up" on your foot from the top may just be flawed, as opposed to having something under your foot to "push up" on it or hold it up.

Complete waste of money for me. Maybe it would work for some depending on the size and structure of your foot and calf.

This splint is working now but I too had problems keeping it on at night. If it was tight enough to keep my foot @ 90 dorsal flexion, my toes would go to sleep and wake me after a few hours and i would take it off. I finally started folding an ankle sock three folds and placing it in the curve of the splint the ankle and the splint. This allows slightly more dorsal flexion without additional tightening of the strap around the ball of the foot. Now the neoprene strap is more giving but is always trying to slightly dorsal flex the foot. After the first night the difference was remarkable. Its basically like a spacer between the dorsal of the ankle and the splint causing more flexion , but its gentle and loose on the ball. I have been fighting pf for 2+ years ! stretching ,icing, inserts ,cortisone shots(ouch!!!) all of which helped some but still in constant pain. These splints are 2 years old and after about 4 weeks initially of fighting them throughout the night i gave up on them. Just a few weeks ago I decided to try them again adding the folded sock as a spacer and glory be!!!! getting pain free!!! finally! hope this helps someone. pf sucks!!

Aquasentials Moisturizing Gloves

Aquasentials Moisturizing GlovesThese gloves are just plain old cotton stretch gloves. Since they were advertised as "moisturizing" gloves, I figured there would be some sort of special plastic layer on the inside. Nope. When I put on lotion and then the gloves, the lotion sinks into the gloves all the way through. If I wear them more than once without washing them, they feel cold and soaked with lotion. I've washed them once, and the both developed holes in them. They are also fairly tight. I am 5'9" woman and the gloves are so tight on my hands that I have to tug them down to fit properly on my fingers. I would only recommend them if you are a smaller person.

I have a very average 7.5 size hand, and these gloves felt tight and restrictive, and therefore, not comfortable enough to sleep in.

Well What I can Say these gloves, are just great they are made very well.I am so happy with them it is so hard to find them so when i did they had only 2 pair. Now i see they are in stock again and i am now getting 6 pair.I need to wear them all day long and at night I have psoriasis, and they help so much. But i am just disappointed that just from Dec.when I ordered them they went up in price.

Thank you Happy Hands In N.Y.

My hands aren't that much bigger than the average woman but these gloves were too small for me. They wouldn't stretch and I felt like they absorbed the moisture instead of locking it into my hands. Plus by the time I get them on I feel like all the lotion I put on is now on the glove. To give you an idea of how big my hands are size 6 rings fit on my pinky size 7 on my left ring finger and size 8 on my right ring a size 9 will fit on either hand of my pointer and middle fingers.

These gloves are great to wear with a thick lotion especially in winter. I have long fingers, great fit. I also have long fingernails which will wear the end of the fingertips and these gloves are thick enough to stand up. I have washed these gloves a few times and they held up well, no shrinkage. I will buy these gloves again. I also like the whimisical design.
