SleepRight Standard Select Low Profile Night Guard
I've been grinding for many years and I've worn a number of night guards, both hard and soft. This is the most comfortable and unobtrusive. I have never "rejected" it (spit it out) during the night as I have other guards. You know you're in trouble when you wake up without your guard, and find it under the bed!
It is soft and comfortable, the low profile is much more comfortable than the regular Splintek. I'm a woman, normal arch. I'd say that the regular Splintek is more suited to a man or a pretty big woman.
I agree with a previous reviewer that the pads could be replaceable, but at these prices I'm not sure it's necessary.
Before I began using this guard I suffered several chipped teeth during the nights. I had problems with TMJ and headaches in the morning. If you grind ("brux") it's so important to get a comfortable guard. If you can't stop the grinding, at least minimize the damage.
I'm comfortable at night, the Splintek handles the grinding, it's available without consulting a dentist, and the price is right. (Used to be about $60.)
Highest recommendation!!

This is the first mouth guard I have ever owned. I selected the low profile instead of the regular one thinking it would be less bulky in mouth and therefore more comfortable. I was wrong. I tried the regular one after and it fit me more confortable. The only difference I noticed between the regular and low profile is that the regular one has higher walls on the side to keep the guard from caving into your mouth. Only consider buying the low profile if you have a very small mouth.Read Best Reviews of SleepRight Standard Select Low Profile Night Guard Here
I really like this night guard. The ones I have gotten from the dentist were thick and bulky. When I would wear them I could not sleep because they were uncomfortable. But this night guard is very flexible and comfortable and I am having no trouble sleeping with it in my mouth. It forces me to sleep with my teeth apart. If you are very active in your sleep (move around alot) or if your tongue pushes alot on your teeth I could see that it could be hard to keep this in your mouth all night as it is not very restrictive. But that is exactly what I like about it and it stays in my mouth all night. I would highly recommend this product if typical night guards have not worked for you.Want SleepRight Standard Select Low Profile Night Guard Discount?
I have used other products to stop or lessen the grinding I do in my sleep and this is by far the best ever!!!!! I even had one from my dentist ($125.00) and in several months I had bitten right through it rendering it useless. The cost is well worth the product you get. I have recently bought a new one because I grind my teeth so bad that in about a year and a half I had bitten through the pads. I will continue to use this product until I can find a way to STOP THE GRINDING!!! My only wish is that the company make replaceable bite pads for the device that the user could put in when necessary to replace them when they have been bitten through!SleepRight Adjustable Low-Profile Night Guard The cost could be reduced a bit if they did this.NatureBright SunTouch Plus Light and Ion Therapy Lamp
As for the ionizer, I wasn't looking for anything like this feature, and I was skeptical about it at first. However, I have since learned that it is a great plus to the light itself; it's like having fresh air blowing at you. With the ionizer and the lamp on, I almost feel like I'm sitting outside on a sunny day.
Shipping was prompt, customer service was OK (they did take a day to call me back even during business hoursbut they were nice and answered all my questions), and I'm very happy about the lamp. I'm not a morning person, but I find myself actually looking forward to going to work in the morning just so I can sit next to the lamp. I wasn't convinced when I bought the lamp that light therapy would actually counter my winter depression, but I'm a believer now. This lamp has certainly worked well for me.

I moved from Virginia to Iowa in '06 and experienced SAD during my first winter here. It wasn't something that I recognized right away and by the time spring came, I was 30lbs heavier and suffering from moderate depression. After some extra warm weather exercise and a resolution to not let it happen to me again this year, I did some research on sunlight therapy and settled on this affordable NatureBright product.I felt the difference within 2 days of using it! My mood brightened and I started to get my initiative back. Even though it is still cold and grey outside, I now go for walks, out to eat, on day trips and have started picking up forgotten projects around the house.
Per the instructions included with the lamp, I sit in front of it for 30 minutes in the morning and then sometimes another 30 minutes in the early afternoon. I have the Ion breeze on throughout the day.
In reference to the actual product, it has a timer which is wonderfully easy to operate and makes the 30 minute timing precise. There is an on/off switch for both the light and the ion air. The lighting area is about the size of a hardback book and has 4 long bulbs.
Overall, I feel that this is a great item to use to perk you up during those winter months inside!

I am writing as an electronics techie. I smelled something suspicious as soon as I turned on the ionizer in this product, and in five minutes I started coughing, quite sure this was ozone. So I borrowed an ion meter and and ozone meter to test it out. Ion output? Zero! Ozone output? 0.209 parts per million within 10-15 minutes. I checked the Web for ozone health standards (). Devices that produce ozone, it says, can decrease lung function, aggravate asthma, and cause throat irritation and cough, chest pain and shortness of breath, inflammation of lung tissue, and higher susceptibility to lung infection. The risk of course depends on the amount of ozone. The Environmental Protection Agency states the risk level at 0.08 parts per million, the Food and Drug Administration states it at 0.05 parts per million, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health state it at 0.10 parts per million. NIOSH goes further by saying this level is "not to be exceeded at any time." So, what about 0.266 parts per million from the SunTouch Plus? I have to conclude that this product is defective and dangerous, and cannot be used to obtain an ion effect. An additional observation, 11/2/11: The company has now put a so-called "Educational Kit" on its website, which deserves critical review, because of several inaccuracies and deceptions. One case in point: they reprint a graph on page 7 from the American Journal of Psychiatry, without crediting the authors or posting a reprint permission statement from the Journal. They imply that their device would produce results as good or better than Prozac -a medical claim for a device without FDA approval! Looking at this article (Amer. J. Psychiatry 2006, volume 163, pages 805-812), one finds that the study used a substantially different light therapy device: "The active light treatment consisted of daily exposure to a white fluorescent light box (Uplift Technologies Inc. [Dartmouth,N.S.], Model Daylight 10000, fitted with an ultraviolet filter and rated at 10,000 lux at a distance of 14 in from screen to cornea) for 30 minutes as soon as possible after awakening, between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m." According Uplift's specifications, this device produces illumination at 4000 Kelvin color temperature (a slightly pinkish, white hue), and directs the light downward toward the eyes through a translucent diffusing filter. According to Nature Bright's specifications, their device produces 16,668 Kelvin color temperature (a cold blue hue), and the light is directed straightforward and upwards toward the eyes without a diffusion filter. The obvious result -as I have experienced -is intense visual glare. Certainly one cannot assume that the two devices would produce the same results, whether or not compared with Prozac.

My doctor recommended light therapy for me 12 years ago, but I thought it was bunk. This season seemed worse for me and I bought one as a last ditch effort to avoid anti-depressant medications. I wish I bought it years ago! Don't know how or why, but it works! I've recommended it to other family members who suffer with SAD. Don't wait. I first acquired Min-Tran from my Chiropractor.. he suggested it to me because I was having trouble sleeping... my mind would constantly be racing with thoughts of the things that I have to do, whether it was something that I didn't finish that day or things that I needed to do the next day... or things that I needed to pack for a much deserved weekend away... It didn't seem to matter what it was .. my mind would just keep rambling on into the night and keep me from falling asleep. In the past I have tried different prescriptions for sleeplessness, which caused memory loss and other weird things. I also tried the over the counter pm medications that make you groggy in the mornings. Now I just take about 3 of these Min-Trans along with my other nightly medications and I drift off to sleep with no weird dreams, memory loss or morning groggyness. This stuff is great.

You need to know Min Tran stands for Mineral Tranquilizer. No side effects and a wonderful calming effect.Great for general use and particularly if the mind is still working when you want to sleep. After years of taking prescription (chemical) drugs to sooth my anxiety my nutritionist recommended Min-Tran. I did not take the chemical stuff on a regular basis as prescribed, only as needed. When I tried Min-Tran I was amazed at the feeling of calm that stays with me all day when I take it as recommended on the bottle. It is a totally different and better feeling than what happens with the prescription drugs. I can only assume the difference is because the Min-Tran is actually nourishment to my body that it needs. It helps me sleep better also and I highly recommend it.
North American Healthcare JB5651 Cpap Hose Holder
One solution I developed was to position the hose on my pillow, above the top of my head, and run it down along the right side of my head. That delayed the hose falling to the side of the bed but did not always prevent it. In addition, the ridges on the hose would sometimes catch on the edge of the bedframe, and then when I tried to turn, the hose would not move, pulling the mask loose and interrupting my sleep.
I had the idea that somehow I needed to get the hose suspended above me, but I never pursued figuring out how to accomplish that. Then I saw this product, a hose holder. Just what I needed! Or was it? The only way I was going to find out was to try it out.
So having ordered the product and having used it for two months now, I can report that it works great. My sleep is less interrupted by the hose pulling on the mask (or on me). There is no question that it is well worth the money to me.
The product is cleverly designed. It is a series of slim tubes, and the each tube nests in the rim of the one below. There is an a elastic cord running through the center of the tubes that keeps the tubes nested in place. The top piece swivels easily, and the hose can slip through the eye at the top. If you want, you can separate the tubes and fit them into the pouch that is provided, which allows you to pack it in a suitcase. (The elastic cord does not come off so the tubes will stay connected to each other by the cord even when not nested.) At first, I thought, OK, this is fine for home use, but I'm not going to travel with it. What with the CPAP machine, I've got enough stuff to lug with me. But now that I've used it for two months, I am reconsidering. I may just travel with it.
At first, I thought that it would be a problem making the bed with the hose holder in place, but it has not been an issue.
I agree with Bluesman that the picture makes the diameter of the tubes look bigger than they are, but otherwise, I think his review does the product a disservice. Perhaps he got a defective item. While not what I would call robust in construction, it is certainly sufficiently sturdy to do its job, and in two months of use, I have seen no evidence that it won't last years. The cost/benefit ratio here is such that if this product broke in a year, I would have no complaint. I'd just buy a new one.

This CPAP hose stand is ok, it is not heavy duty but it does the job. It would be great for travel since it is light weight, and can be taken apart and easily put back together. It also comes with a small travel bag so it can be stored with your CPAP machine for easy travel.Read Best Reviews of North American Healthcare JB5651 Cpap Hose Holder Here
I'm not quite sure what Bluesman is referring to in his one-star review. Perhaps he was shipped a different product. While this stand is not what I would call "heavy duty" it is more than adequate for the job at hand. I change sides two or three times a night, and this unit has no problem staying in place and holding the hose in the proper place. The top does swivel a bit, which is a good thing, as it adjusts to your movement and you the mask doesn't get pulled from your face.During the day, I hang my mask (a light nasal pillow model) from the pole as well. I see no sign it can't handle that bit of extra weight. It might be a tad overpriced (there might be $1-$2 in materials at the most in this thing) but there aren't that many alternatives, from what I have seen. All-in-all I'm happy with it.
UPDATE, 3/19/2013. Over two years later this CPAP hose holder is still going strong. It gets used EVERY night and has even traveled with me. I have a new bed and mattress and now have moved it to a different position, in the middle of the mattress between the headboard and the mattress. It isn't perfect. When you need to make an adjustment, the segments can come apart and that can be a bit of a pain to straighten out. But since I rarely need to adjust it, once it is in place it seems to stay put just fine. Given how flimsy some think it is, I wonder how it has lasted so long?
UPDATE 3/30/2013 RIP. The foot of the stand broke last night. It was propped rather precariously underneath a heavy memory foam mattress directly on a slatted platform bed, and I tried to adjust it without lifting the mattress. So, I think this was my fault. I think it gave me great service for the two+ years I have owned it. Given my new bed setup I may order a different product, but if I don't find something else quick, I will have no concerns about ordering this product again.

This is a handy product. It is a collapsible structure (perfect for travel or home) and doesn't require any assembly. You just straighten it out and then slide the flat base between your mattress and box spring, resulting in an erect, slim, pole-like structure with a loop at the top in which you can string your CPAP hose. Given the set-up of my bedroom, it was best for me to have it at the head of my bed between the bed and the wall (I do not have a headboard). I haven't had it for that long but it stands there and holds the hose as it should and it's such a straight-forward structure that I have no reason to think it wont do it's job for months/years to come. If you have a headboard and have to stick it between the mattress at the side of the bed, maybe it would move more if you bumped into it (or just because it doesn't have the wall as a fall-back support given that you may tug as you change positions during sleep), but its simple enough where you really can just tuck it in the base at night and put it away during the day. For me, its much better than having the annoying hose hanging down the side of the bed all night and pulling on my face apparatus. I give it 4 stars, which means that I recommend it and think it works perfectly fine. One star because it is a bit flimsy in a way but, like I said, that's good when you think about travel or moving during the day.L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Advanced RevitaLift Complete Day Cream Complete Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Moist
Dreamate Sleep Aid
It is worth buying a new one just to have it on hand.I have major insomnia for years and was hoping this would help. I would try anything at this time. It didn't do a thing! I used it for 2 weeks and nothing. It vibrates and has an electrical thing to it, that you can hardly feel. It's a no go for me.Aside from the Dreamate working erratically, it did nothing to improve my ability to fall asleep. It has found a home in the bottom of some drawer.I also returned this sleep aid....not relaxing makes a loud vibrating noise and uncomfortable! How is that suppose to make you tired??
Sleep Soundly Melatonin
But, what separates this product from the competition is the DOSAGE and TASTE!!! This is the only brand with a true 3.5mg per 2 dropper fulls... That means you get almost a full 1mg per HALF DROPPER... which makes mixing it with a juice box (or even milk) possible, and your kid will never taste it. I have an autistic daughter, and she can immediately tell if her juice tastes "funny" and good luck getting her to drink anymore after that. And trust me, no parent ever wants to go through the gut wrenching feeling of holding your kid down to give them doctor prescribed medicine, as they scream and cry with looks of fear and not-understanding... Thank God for this stuff! Half a dropper, gets her 1mg of melatonin, and she is ready for bed in about 20-30 minutes. If she has a really bad day, then the full two droppers (only 2ml) of liquid knocks her out in about a half hour. And even then, the taste is so faint that ANY type of juice (even the motts-for-totts 40% water) will mask it... I cannot say that for ANY other brand that we have tried.
ALL THE OTHER BRANDS FAIL TO TELL YOU JUST HOW MUCH YOU WILL BE NEEDING... Some others say only 1-2mg per dose. but what is a dose??? some of the other "purple" brands list 4 DROPPER FULLS for a dose! Try getting a full 3.5mg dose and you are looking at over 16 dropper fulls!!!! O.o How am I supposed to get 4 of just the 1 ml dropper fulls of a heavily berry flavored syrup into my kid easily??? Never mind replacing half of juice box with stuff... The flavor of the other brands overpowers even sugary juiceboxes!
I have to say, that this brand is the only one we will buy from now on! Do some simple math and you find that a 2 oz bottle of this melatonin (at 3.5mg per 2ml) is 30 doses per bottle. Compared to the Natrol Melatonin 1mg Liquid (at 1mg per 4ml) which is a mere 4 (yes, FOUR) doses per bottle, to get 3.5mg per dose.... The others are just not designed with ease of use, and assisting the parent in mind. I am amazed that this brand is not more widely publicized and advertised...My toddler granddaughter was born with severe brain damage which resulted in NO SLEEP STAGES. A physician suggested that we give this product a try and we have been using it for over a year with great results!
We had to quit using this product for a short period of time because my granddaughter was placed on a ketogenic diet which does not allow carbs; she is off the diet now and back on Sleep Soundly .... being in liquid form allows us to feed it through her stomach tube (g tube) with no problems! She is usually asleep within 15 minutes of us giving her this product!

After years of trying to get my kids to bed at a decent hour I finally asked their pediatrician what to do. My daughter has an autism spectrum disorder and is on an anti-depressant for mood disorders. I used to give her Hylands Calm Forte for Kids but we were up to eight tablets and it still wasn't effective. Not to mention I had to force them in her mouth so they'd dissolve. She knows if there is something in her drink and she will not take any medications that she can taste. Her psychiatrist suggested giving her Benadryl at bedtime but I am not comfortable doing that. She would have lights out then lay in bed for up to an hour each night. After reading online reviews of this product I purchased it for both my children. My daughter gets one dropperful (1ml) in Sprite and she doesn't even notice it. What a blessing.I also bought it for our son who is five and hyperactive. He also has behavior disorders. He would toss and turn, talk, and fidget forever before he finally fell asleep. Even as a toddler at naptime in preschool he would not sleep and would keep the other kids awake with his restlessness. I started him on the 2 dropperfuls (2ml) which is the full dose. The first night he fell asleep after twenty minutes. I kept him on this dose until school let out. I now give him 1 dropperful each night and he falls asleep within thirty minutes usually. He takes it directly without mixing it into anything.
I truly recommend this product to anyone with children who have sleep difficulty. I wish I had started using this product years ago with my kids. I've had many late nights with my kids because they just couldn't fall asleep.I have tried several other brands and types of Melatonin over the past year or so. I am on Chemotherapy, and frequently need help getting to sleep. SLEEP SOUNDLY is by far, the best tasting, fastest working form of Melatonin I have used. I've had pills, sublingual tablets, other liquids, but this one tops them all! I recommend that you at least give it a try if you need some help getting to sleep or staying asleep. It works for me! And the price here makes it even more attractive.I use liquid melatonin for my 4 year old autistic child who suffers from chronic sleep problems...she will not swallow pills so the liquid works out great! Great price compared to most others brands on Amazon and it's a higher concentrate than a lot of them. Fast shipping, would buy again.

I used this splint now for some nights (bought it in a local drug store)and really feel relief for my wrist. I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis and a Trigger Thumb, and my surgery was cancelled and I have to wait another 8 weeks. But since using this splint I will manage this waiting time. I couldn't wear my other splint anymore because it just hurt me, especially during night. Now I don't wake up because of pain in my hand and I also wear it sometimes during the day when my pain is too bad. And I am really happy that it doesn't put pressure on my bad thumb like every other splint I tried, did. I will recommend this to everyone and I think that Amazon should remove reviews which are only related to shipping and not to the product at all.

I bought these, by a doctors suggestion for postpartum carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists. The pain and numbness of carpal tunnel syndrome was waking me up at night. These worked and ELIMINATED all of those symptoms. (no joke!) I was shocked something so simple could work so well. So as a product they do work, and I would highly recommend them for that reason. The one drawback I have found is I have used them every night for three months and the velcro has already worn out and the splints now loosen up at night. They used the softer velcro on these which doesn't poke or hurt, it almost feel like a fabric, however it is not as strong, over time it wears out. Now if the end of the velcro tab comes into contact with anything it comes completely undone. I tend to move a lot in my sleep, maybe someone who moves less wouldn't have the same issue.
I will probably buy another pair because they are comfortable, and do work, however I find it disappointing that they used such weak velcro for something that you wear overnight. I don't know if it was planned obsolescence, so that you buy another one or if it was faulty material.
To wrap it up, the product worked but the velcro could be stronger.Simply perfect. I've been using the far bulkier and cumbersome IMAK padded night wrist guard for years, and recently had a carpal tunnel pain flare up in both wrists.
After switching to a pair of these, all pain is gone. The design and quality of these wrist supports are far superior to the IMAK adjustable night wrist guard. I'm completely happy with this purchase and will buy them again if they wear out -but I think that's a long way off.

That is precisely what Eye Dream delivers with ultra hydration plus regenerative elements and biopeptides.
BackMax Plus Extra-Wide Wedge Cushion Set
First my back story. I am a 34 year old man who is 6' 2" and weights in at 250lbs. of which about 20% of that is body fat. I suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) since I was 15 and for those of you who do not know what that is I will explain. It is a type of rheumatoid arthritis that affects the spine of the low back and hips. It can skip around and affect other parts of the spine including the cervical. It can also be radial affecting the peripheral joints of the body. There is a whole range of other symptoms associated to this horrible disease and there are different levels of it that range from mild to severe. I am on the severe end of the spectrum so you name off anything that is associated with it and I have experienced that on some level. I am fortunate enough however to be blessed with a drug called Enbrel which does slow the progress of the disease and even makes me a fully functioning part of the workforce. I am able to work full time as a Computer Repair Technician. I can even go to the gym and workout to keep myself in shape.
Everything in my sleeping habits had been great until about a year and a half ago or so when I suddenly noticed that I was losing circulation in my body. If I laid on my right side I would lose circulation in that side of my body and if I laid on my left the same. If I laid flat on my back I would lose circulation in my entire body including my head. As soon I would move to readjust the blood flow would just start rushing. I could even feel it rushing up into my head. Something is getting pinched off somewhere in my spine obviously and I don't know where but would ultimately like to get to the bottom of it. I also have been awaking every morning with intense pain right in the mid section of my back. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being bad the pain is a 10-12. It makes it to where I am so uncomfortable that I have no choice but to get up for the day after only about 5-7hrs of sleep. It literally feels as though somebody jerked a knot in my spine. I have discovered that if I sleep in a reclined position that I don't lose the circulation nearly as bad as I do sleeping in any other position and can actually sleep 8-10 hours if I choose to in that position. Also the pain isn't there as bad in the mid back like it normally is in that position. Now onto what I want to say about this wedge pillow system.
First off I would like to say "WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD!". From night one I have not awoke in the morning with that horrible pain in the middle of my spine. Despite of what others are saying about how comfortable it is I believe that it is very comfortable. My wife and kids love it too. My wife actually wants me to get her one now. I do still get a loss of circulation but not nearly as bad as when I sleep in the recliner or elsewhere. I am sleeping much better now thanks to this system and actually awake feeling well rested and can even go back to sleep and sleep in if I would like to. The poofy dark bags under my eyes are all but gone and I have only been sleeping on this thing for about 5 nights now. Here are the pros and cons that I see with this system:
1. Pros: Comfortable, sleep deeper and longer, awake feeling rejuvenated and reenergized. The 28" model is definitely worth the extra cash because I couldn't see how I would on anything smaller and even if I did I would have no place to rest my arms. These also double as a way of trying new sexual positions with your partner. They give you some new and fun angles to work with.
2. Cons: It does take a little getting use to the ideal of sleeping on it. Also it is not really one size fits all when zippered together. My wife is 5' 3" and can easily use it all zipped together but I can not. I have to separate the top and mid sections about 3-4 inches so that the mid section properly cradles my legs. The built in massage is worthless. It just vibrates of course but you can barely feel it. Doesn't waste the 8 AA batteries on it. The neck pillow is comfortable but not really needed so I don't use it.
I closing I would just like to say that they should take out the vibration function and keep the neck pillow and drop the price to 199.99. I am sure that they would sell a hell of a lot more of them if they did. Anyone who suffers from any type of back pain just needs to try this. It works for me and maybe it can for you too.Beware of Contour Products and the Back Max system!
First the product itself:
It is not suited to someone over the height of about 5'7". Although the pieces to separate (by zippers), if you do that, the slippery nature of the fleece cover slides all over the place, so you're basically forced to leave them zipped together, and then the dimensions are too small for someone of higher than average height.
The foam out of which the pillows are constructed is SO hard, it is actually painful to lay on for more than a few minutes.
Because of the dimension of the box in which the product comes, it's the volume equivalent of approximately 82Lbs. That means shipping charges of $60 via the post office and just slightly less with UPS.
Second return policy and customer service:
1). Return policy is WAY down on the bottom of their webpage, very easy to miss.
2). To return the product requires a Return Authorization.
3). When you request the return authorization, they inform you there is a 20% restocking charge for `used' items.
4). The address on their website is not a UPS verified, and instead of informing of the appropriate address, Customer Disservice keeps sending crip-to-grams till finally you have the correct address.
5). When you ship the item back, a week goes by, with no word and no credit for the return.
6). When you ask where the credit is, you're informed that `We have a 30 day return policy. Since the product is used, it has been disposed of, we don't have a record of your credit card number, and there will not be a refund coming'.
Save yourself grief and a LOT of money. DO NOT BUY from Contour Products.

My husband has a degeneration of his vertebrae at L5, S1, and we thought this product would help him sleep through the pain. It was plenty wide for him, 6'4" and 250lbs, but so short in the back wedge part (the part you need), that it was uncomfortable even for me @ 5'9". The product itself took a week longer to ship than projected when I ordered, and was relatively crappy for the money. What Amazon doesn't list on this site is the 20% restocking fee involved in returns, plus paying for shipping it back. The customer service at Contour was non-existent, and will get you no where. I feel 'taken' by them, that they would sell a product with misleading information on Amazon.BUYER BEWARE!

I bought this wedge system because i snore and have sleep apnea. I could not stand the face mask of the CPAP machine, but when I sleep in a recliner I get a great nights rest. The contour beds are probably $3000 so this was cheaper attempt allow me to sleep in bed and get a good nights rest.I'm a big guy. Not very tall but big boned LOL... This is widest wedge system I could find and I was worried it wasn't wide enough when I ordered it, but that wasn't the case at all. Its plenty wide and supports me just fine. Its not a flat wedge if that makes sense. There is a slight lumbar support portion to it that hits your back just right.
The one problem I did have was when the 2 sections are attached its a bit too small for me. I'm actually too tall for it, or it just not made for my body type. Not sure where the problem lies. An easy fix would be if the offered an section of material to zip in to lengthen the unit. I just took off the bottom section all together and it works great.
The foot portion at the bottom was not useful to me at all. It must be for some problem I am not aware of. ???

I purchased this cushion set because it was the best option next to an adjustable bed. I was to have reconstructive knee surgery and my doc said that I'd need to elevate my leg for several days after surgery. The first week. I only used it for sitting up to eat, watch TV, visit with friends. This was done easily because of the design and functionality instructions included with this cushion system. The second week, we detached the first wedge (as was shown in the instruction manual and I used it it sleep elevated.) The third week, I used the cushion in its entirety, but we used the split option and it has been working like a charm. I'm not a large women, yet I like a lot of room, and this extra-wide cushion set is perfect for me. I sleep so well using the sleep cushion system and it truly has been designed well, and is well made. as of a result of my use of this device, several of my friends are planning to purchase this sleep cushion systemnow that they've seen how it works after visiting me. I'm thinking that even after I recover from my knee surgery, I'm still going to use this cusion system, because it my back feels so awesome using while I'm reading in bed, on my laptop, watching TV, and working on my iPad. My back has always needed better support while in bed doing the above mentioned activities, and I'm incredibly happy that I now have a cushion system that fits my needs. The price is very reasonable for the quality of this product, and I shall continue to use it and sing its praises.I am 5' 8" and the cushion system at first seemed a little short, then we looked at the manual again and realized that he whole system is customizable. After that we unzipped the middle of the cushion system and lengthened the two parts far enough for desired comfort, and viola! This system was designed for every aspect of the human body, so take your time and get familiar with its versatility.
Pure Magnolia Bark Extract 400mg - Relaxation & Sleep - As Seen on Tv!
Solgar - Magnesium Citrate, 120 tablets
The most common magnesium supplements are magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, chelated magnesium (magnesium glycinate), magnesium orotate, magnesium citrate, magnesium maleate and magnesium gluconate. These supplements provide different amounts of elemental magnesium (the constituent that matters) and also vary significantly in their bioavailability (absorption).
Magnesium oxide is the most dense magnesium compound and the one most often used in mineral supplements and multivitamins. It contains 300 mg of elemental magnesium per 500 mg tablet, but is extremely poorly absorbed. Only about 4% of its elemental magnesium is absorbed or about 12 mg out of a 500 mg tablet.
Magnesium carbonate contains 125 mg of elemental magnesium per 500 mg tablet, but is poorly absorbed.
Chelated magnesium (magnesium glycinate) is magnesium bound in a complex of glycine and lysine. It is easily absorbed and highly bioavailable. The magnesium (elemental) content per tablet or capsule is usually 100 mg.
Magnesium orotate contains only 31 mg of elemental magnesium per 500 mg tablet. However, it is well absorbed and has been found highly effective in daily intakes of 3000 mg (186 mg elemental).
Magnesium citrate contains 80 mg of elemental magnesium per 500 mg tablet. It is far better absorbed than is magnesium oxide. The water soluble form (Natural Calm) contains 205 mg of elemental magnesium per teaspoon, is totally soluble in hot water and is highly bioavailable.
Magnesium maleate contains 56 mg of elemental magnesium per 500 mg tablet.
Magnesium gluconate contains 27 mg of elemental magnesium per 500 mg tablet. It is easily absorbed and quick acting.
All forms of oral magnesium supplements are better absorbed when taken with a meal.

This product is excellent in purity and potency. This form of magnesium is super absorbable and so it increases bioavailability of the mineral. Go with the citrate form, or other water soluble higher molecular weight forms such as asparate, to ensure high bioavailability. Magnesium oxide, although the most inexpensive form, is poor in terms of potency. I've been useing this product for years and love it. Magnesium is essential for so many enzymic biochemical reactions and maintaining a healthy heart rhythm.Read Best Reviews of Solgar - Magnesium Citrate, 120 tablets Here
I know it may seem like a very unpleasant topic to talk about, but constipation can be a very serious and painful ailment. I have suffered for year. Doctors tried all kinds of pills, laxatives, fiber powders, colon products and cleansing, etc. There was just no success. Finally I found a brilliant doctor who guessed that I might have a Magnesium Deficiancy...I know, I'd never heard of it either. Well, he performed what I thought to be an extremely unusual (though incredibly helpful in diagnosing my ailment) test: He had me swallow this little device/detector thingie :-/ that fit inside a quickly dissolving gel capsule. Also inside the capsule was a thin string which was attached to the device (so he could later pull it right back out through my mouth when the test was done). I then drank something, I believe (it's been several years since the test, so I don't remember exactly) with magnesium in it. Soon after, I drank something with Baking Soda in it to see how fast my stomach could absorb/neutralize acid (again, it's hard to remember the exact things I drank). While the device was in my stomach, the doctor could see how well I absorbed Magnesium -quite poorly, as he suspected. He also explained that if your body cannot properly absorb magnesium from foods, it can impact your ability to have bowel movements. Needless to say, this discovery has been a godsend! These pills work wonderfully. I do have to take 2 3 every other night though. I hope someone might read this review and discover a way to cure their constipation as well. Please do talk to your doctor about it though as I have no medical training; I only know what is working for me.My naturopathy doctor highly recommended Solgar. She said they have exceptionally high quality products and she recommended I take Solgar Magnesium Citrate along with Solgar Calcium Citrate because the magnesium citrate would speed the absorption of the calcium citrate.RemZzzs Padded Nasal CPAP Mask Liners (30-day Supply)

Dohm-SS Single Speed Sound Conditioner by Marpac (formerly known as the Sleepmate/Sound Screen 580A
Thanks for reading, I hope this was helpful! I researched many white noise machines and read many reviews before deciding on the Marpac 580. The 580 is less expensive than the 980 with no speed adjustment, but it performs quite adequately, and truthfully the speed control is unnecessary. The Marpac machines operate mechanically rather than electronically, which in my opinion is a more reliable way to go. Also these machines don't experience sound or volume problems like other brands. The adjustable volume and tone can accomodate a very large room. The average bedroom requires much less than its maximum volume is capable of. The 580 is simple, basic, and sturdy. It performs well not only for children but adults too, drowning out typical city background noises. We like it so much, we have purchased two...and now my mother wants one. Everyone who has used it has remarked on how uninterrupted their sleep is. I highly recommend the Marpac 580Unfortunately, my lovely bride, Mrs. Gorilla, is at times prone to snoring, gurgling, and other odd sounds in the night whilst in slumber. In years past, this would generally occur while she was laying on her back, and a gentle prod to her thigh would be enough to get her to roll to her side and quiet the veritable symphony of sounds. Lately, the noise has been occurring regardless of her position in bed, leaving me with two options to lay awake until the racket subsides or move to another location. Neither seemed desirable.
At this point, I began to research the situation and came across this gizmo: the Marpac 580 Sound Screen and SleepMate Sound Conditioner. Try saying THAT three times fast. It's just a fancy name for a small fan inside a plastic housing. The reviews seemed mostly positive and the price seemed right, so I was convinced to order one with all due speed.
I am happy to report that it has solved all issues and restored marital bliss. It has a "low" and a "high" setting on the switch but these seem rather pointless. The real options for increasing or decreasing the noise it makes come from rotating the disk on top of the device as well as rotating the exterior plastic housing that constitutes the "sides" of the thing basically the larger the holes on the side and the more holes you "open" on top the louder it gets. I have mine set at full throttle, and to my ear it is QUITE loud, more than enough to mask any sounds coming from Mrs. Gorilla on the other side of the bed. It does not completely drown out all noise, but as I explain below, it masks it in a way that, at least for me, solves the problem.
I have it sitting atop the high dresser located about six feet or so from my side of the bed, versus on the night stand right beside me, and even from that distance it really is enough to mask any noise I might otherwise hear. I struggle to choose the right verb here: it "masks" or "blends" the noises I may or may not hear it does not always "obliterate" them. Thus, I have woken up a couple of times while Mrs. Gorilla was snoring, realized I could still hear her, but found that I could focus on the steady whooshing sound of the device rather than her intermittent sawing of wood, and fall back to sleep. Apparently, for me anyway, such noises only become distressing when contrasted with absolute silence. When blended with a background white noise like this device makes, the sound of snoring is not a problem in the least. And for most of the other nighttime noises that might occur those ARE genuinely covered up. This includes any odd noises the dog might make in the night, the sound of my teenage son galumphing up the stairs at midnight when I'm already in bed, and so on and I definitely have been sleeping more soundly and comfortably.
I'll leave it to a psychologist or an MD to explain why I no longer find the snoring noise so distressing when blended with a white noise generator and thus conclude with a hearty recommendation: five stars, and four enthusiastic thumbs up (counting the two on my feet...)I was concerned when I read the review about the EMF rating and emailed the company. They promptly emailed me the following response that put my mind at ease:
Quote:
The person who posted that comment is placed a Gauss meter directly against the housing of a Sleep Mate and took a reading on his amateur Gauss meter. He could take that same meter and walk by his refrigerator, bathroom or kitchen exhaust fans, or any device in his home that contains an electric motor and get similar readings. If the general public had any clue how much EMF is produced by cell phones and were concern about this being a cancer risk, they would be astonished. EMF exposure to concentrated levels from high voltage power lines or other circumstances where high levels of EMF can be measured at a great distance from the source should be considered a risk...Sleep Mate is not.
I can tell you for certain that the inventor of this product is 90 years old and he and his wife have used Sleep Mate on his nightstand nearly every night since 1962 and they are both in pretty good health (he recently broke his hip). Neither of them have ever had any form of cancer.
This product is in its fourth generation design and has been in use in one form or another for over 45 years.
I hope this helps and please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Kind regards,
Marpac Corporation I had to return it. I really was looking forward this, however it is way too loud for me. I usually like noise when I sleep, so I was looking for something to provide that and block out some snoring. However, it was hard for me to fall asleep because it sounded like someone had the suction end of a vacuum up to my ear (and I even followed the directions and did not have it on my nightstand like most people do).
So the product works as it is probably supposed to, but this one only operates on the HIGH level, where the next model up works on two speeds, high and low. I guess that would be something to consider if you are buying one.
