I really enjoy the liners. They do as advertised; they are much nicer to have next to your skin than the gel cover. However, I find that the liners tend to slip while I'm sleeping. I'll wake up in the night, and the liner has moved, so I have to adjust it.

Other than the liner moving, I love these. Even with the moving issue, I will buy more.

These liners were a big waste of money. Not worth the $25. Very cheap pieces of cloth. I feel like I have been deceived. The photo makes it look like the liners fit "around" the mask seal but they don't. They just sit on top.Therefore, they move around and don't stay in place. I seem to scratch my nose during the night because the moisture in the mask itches my nose. They would be a lot better if they enveloped the seal. Will not buy again.

When my son was born, I was exclusively breastfeeding. However, due to some problems with gaining weight and constantly spitting up HUGE amounts, we had to supplement and eventually switch to exclusively formula. His doctor initially recommended Enfamil AR (powder)and at first it seemed to work, but after a day or so, the spitting up returned. (As well as days of constipation and gas!!) I was becoming frustrated and started researching Similac. Our 3 month old has gone through numerous types of formula including Enfamil Newborn, Similac Soy, Similic Sensitive for Fussiness & Gas, and finally a formula that worked for our baby boy's extremely bad gas: Similac Alimentum. It was costing us a ridiculous amount of money to feed our baby and just started to settle on the fact that we'd be paying over $9.00 per bottle until he starts on solids.

We just had our second baby in five years with severe GERD/reflux. Luckily, I was able to identify the signs much earlier this time. We also determiend before even leaving the hospital that she was lactose intolerant, as I am. She was first switched from Enfamil Lacto-free to Nutramigen, to Enfamil A.R.(not lactose free), to Enfamil Gentlease (reduced lactose), to Similac R.S. (lactose free with rice starch additive). After the third one, they put her on Zantac and continued on with the formulas until we got to this one and it worked.

It is pricey and only available in ready-to-feed, but it was the ONLY formula that kept my daughter from screaming in pain. She still spits up, but it's not as much. I might also mention that she was constipated as well before going on this one. Another word of advise to parents whose babies are put on Zantacit's much easier to administer if you mix it in with their formula. Our pediatrician told us it's just as effective that way.

After our preemie twins came home, the doctors had us supplementing breast milk with the Similac Neosure (powder) which the babies hated and fussed over and spit out (and up). I have suffered from mild anxiety since having my first child 15 years ago. It's basically because I'm a type A control personality and kids pretty much take away all organization and leave chaos. :) Anyway, I'd tried prescription meds but the side effects were more bothersome than the problem ie: weight gain, lethargy and a general feeling of disassociatedness. Enter passionflower. I'd been researching to find a natural remedy and passionflower was the only one that came up as working with no side effects. This is incredible! Because it thins the blood, you want to try to avoid taking aspirin. Other than that, this stuff is my miracle in a bottle. I take 10-15 drops morning and afternoon and 30 drops at bedtime. The label says 30-40 drops 2-5 times a day, so I really think it's about playing around with it to find the level you need. However, start off small and work your way up. You don't want to knock yourself out in the middle of the day. At this dosage, the 1 oz. bottle lasts me about 3 weeks.

Looks very natural, NOT orange. Just be careful what you do after you put it on. If you get the change to rinse it off, do it. Dorsal Night Splint

Thanks to MMM and TGIP and others for providing insightful reviews! About 90 days ago I got Plantar Fasciitis by straining my foot in a tennis match. I have a runner friend who had complained about it a few years ago ... said it was incurable... was bummed because he had to give up running. I was very depressed to think I would give up tennis.

I read and tried everything I could find on the net: the stretches, the icing down, rolling the foot on the little ball thingy, stretching on stairs, on 2x4. I bought PW Minor orthotic shoes and tried 20 different orthotic inserts from full foot of every gyration to heel cups. The PW shoes and the best insert form me was the "adjustable arch support" by Dr. Scholls.. you change an insert to vary how much lift) They eased the pain during walking... but no progress was being made.

Every morning, I would get out of bed, put my foot down, and stabbing pain! Then a bolt of lightning arrived with the stabbing pain: "something is happening at night to reinjure my foot!" I recalled that night splints were available for PF victims. I searched and found the A force Dorsal Night Splint! What these folks and others said made sense: this one is the smallest and least invasive of your sleep. I bought it 3 days ago.

The first night it was annoying, because my foot wanted to curl and point straight away from me to relieve the natural tension of the Plantar.. the running muscle/tissue. I got it too tight. I loosened it, then took it off mid night. (Leave it rather loose, so your foot can occasionally point down to relieve the tension of being in one position.) Even though I could only stand it half a night... the next morning I noticed that my "touchdown pain" was less. I felt so much better that I risked tennis for the second time in three months (first try was a painful disaster. Could barely walk the following day.)

When I played, I also recalled a post about an ace bandage wrap for the arch area.. and found a "wrist strap" in my tennis bag that fit my low instep foot.) Miracle! With the bandage wrapped around my arch, the Dr. Scholls adjustable arch pad... I played pretty well with some sensitivity. But there was no lingering pain afterward. And the third night with this device "touchdown pain" was very substantially reduced... almost gone!

I have a size 11.5 B foot with low instep and flat feet. I ordered the large size although some commenters said "get the smaller size." I would recommend getting the correct size: you do not want it even snug, surely not tight. With it loosely wrapped around your foot, it will keep your foot at ninety degrees plus or minus.. allowing you to move it slightly, and lessening the sensation of being restricted. This is much more comfortable. But it is still enough to accomplish keeping your foot from curling downward and tightening the PF.

The placement of the brace on the front allows greater foot movement, allows maximim air circulation, lets you place one foot on top of the foot with the brace in comfort. If you had the other kind, the edge of the brace would jab your other foot, be heavy and cumbersome if you are a flipper like I am.

I cannot tell you how happy and satisfied I am with this product. I expect I will be fully cured withing weeks, not months and years. Thank you, Amazon for this product and forum! You have given me back my life.

A night splint is the ONLY way to totally cure plantar fascitis. Period.

Don't waste your precious time and money on a podiatrist who will do one of two things, guaranteed: Tell you what I just told you and be right, or tell you to have surgery and be wrong. Do NOT let some selfish surgeon cut on you for this problem. I promise you it'll never be done on anyone I love! It NEVER works and most of the time causes worse foot problems than it solves. OK... off soapbox.

THIS splint is a mixed bag. I've worn several over the years as I've had this problem off and on since before anyone knew the name of it, and fewer could pronounce it.

It's main selling point is comfort. For a stiff splint it's light and fairly forgiving to the light sleeper like me. This means it's more likely to stay on the patient (that's you and me) through the night, which it MUST in order to do its job.

The many people who are stating in these reviews that they wind up ripping their splint off sometime during the night are NOT going to succeed at getting relief from their pain. This splint, a sock splint, ANY splint has to stay ON throughout the night, ALL night in order to work. If your PF gets as bad as mine has at times, you'll get used to having a night splint on. This one's a winner in that regard.

Unfortunately this splint does not heal my fascitis, although it may with those folks who have praised its effects. The reason it (while comfortable) does not work for me is simply my anatomy. I've got my Dad's bird-legs and a lot of give in my joints, including my ankles and feet. In order for this splint, a sock splint, ANY splint to cure PF, it must place a stretching tension (some, not too much) on the plantar fascia, the thin sling of muscle running along the bottom of the foot,

for the duration of time that the "injured" foot is at rest and trying to repair itself. This is so the repair work occurs with the foot in approximately the same position as it's in when you use it to walk.

So for me and many others, a splint must allow more options in the degree of ankle "flexion" (how much your toes point up toward your nose) before the plantar fascia can receive sufficient stretch for the tissue repairs to "hold" when the stress of the next walking or running event follows the stress of the next digital dinging, squeeking or oldie-covering event.

If that sounds like your foot, make sure you choose a splint where your ankle will not be locked at a single angle over which you have no control, as it is with this brace. Those splints are pricier but for me, they're the only ones that work, now that I can no longer seem to find sock-type splints. Those worked, but man were they HOT in the summer! (Read: The patient didn't leave them on like he should...)

I have owned 4 different night splints and this one is the best. I have used the over the counter Futuro brand you find in the pharmacy--the ones the pull your toe up sucks. They make my toes to numb. My podiatrist gave me a very fancy one and it broke 6 months later so I was forced to go buy my own as he was charging 125 clams for his.

This version is cheaper and much much better. The strap wraps around your lower calf/ankle it fits my big legs. It is comfortable to sleep in and it has a little rubber pad on the bottom which makes nighttime bathroom trips more secure. Best of all, no pull on toes and no tingly feet!

I wear a size 10 womens shoe, so i ordered the large--it fits nicely. Worth the purchase.

Knee Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) Machine

As of February 18, 2005, I'm 2 weeks post-op from ACL reconstruction (patellar autograft) surgery with repairs (removal of damaged portion) to both my medial and lateral meniscuses. Thanks to the CPM, cryo cuff system, lots of at home exercising and a good bit of luck, I reached 115 degrees flexion and 0 degrees extension just 3 days post-op at my first physical therapy (PT) session. And 2 weeks post-op (today), I now am at 130 degrees flexion (just 5 degrees shy of the generally accepted "full flexion" range for post-op knees). Highly recommended for keeping the knee limber, flexible and active, particularly during that first week when every movement takes twice as long and hurts five times more than you expect.

The Flexmate CPM machine, which this one appears to be, is extremely quiet. You can easily sleep with it running, although you may develop a crick in your neck due to having to sleep on your back. The neck cramp is worth the increased flexion in your knee, though!

Keep looking I found this at 2,300 on other web sites so if you have to purchase one this is not the place. Keep looking and you will easily find a better price. I agree with rent if you can. These things are so overpriced.

Science Of Sleep Polar Foam Cool Foam Sleepap Pillow for C-pap Users

I have been looking for a firm, cool, supportive pillow that would not disturb my full face bipap mask. I have purchased many pillows and this is the closest match to my needs. The pillow case was difficult to put on and a poor fit to the basic pillow. I wish the pillow were a little smaller, but the cutout for the mask and the height of the pillow is perfect for side sleepers. A warning to purchasers it is a FIRM pillow. I have only used it for one night and I am wondering if I can cut a small dent in the foam for my ear. Bought this for my husband who sleeps currently with a foam pillow (and 4 others) and a cpap. he is a big guy about 300lbs 6'6. I was very excited to get this for him since he does knock around his cpap mask in the middle of the night and gets very hot the cool pillow looked like a good call. This pillow is "cool" as in it keeps cool even when he is getting hot. However the pillow is very firm. It isn't like the other foam pillows we have that mold to your head. My husband being so large shouldn't have had a hard time sinking into the pillow an having it form around his neck and head. This is very light (unlike our others) but about rock solid. If you like a VERY firm pillow this is the one for you. I guess it just isnt at all like our other foam pillows. The cpap design portion is very unique and does function which is why this is 2 stars not 1, its just to firm to keep him using this pillow at night. He won't let me return it since it was a gift from me, otherwise I would and just ordered him one from the company store.

First however, I admittedly am a very hard case. I tried the nose breathing strips for my deviated septum, almost permanent sinus infection and permanent allergies and it never fully worked. With Brez large-size nose oval (flexible rings), they initially did not work but finally did magnificently.

First I tried the medium Brez size and it did not work. Then I tried the large Brez size and followed instructions and it did not work.

Finally I disobeyed the instructions and I put in the large size brez ovals in the vertical position (not horizontal as recommended and which is not in the instructions) and it worked but left my nose sore for a while. However, after sticking it out for a month, I built calluses and now I don't even know they are inserted in the nose...and finally something really works.

The only negatives are that they are a bit pricey and it might take putting the nose ovals into a vertical position if you are a hard case like me.

Don't take my case as usual, because as I said I have a hard case...but it is worth the extra trouble if you just stick it out.

I snore quite badly, so I've tried a variety of different methods of reducing my snoring and improving my sleep. I originally got the small version, but they were way to small so I ordered the large version. I'm a first time user of melatonin and needed sleep in the worse way instead going straight to sleeping pills. The NOW brand gets me about a good 5-6 hours of non-interrupted sleep. That is fine for now since before then I was getting 3-4 hrs and taking longer naps or sleeping my mornings away. I sometimes also don't use the same amount everynight, I tend to do 3mg one night and 6mg every other -basically that's just to keep my body getting use to a set intake and not having it work again. I tried Melatonin when I was experiencing some very stressful events in my life that were causing me to not sleep very well or for very long. The first night I used the product it worked great. I have been taking this product for close to 2 months now and have seen terrific results. It is typically hard for me to fall asleep at night(I am naturally active at night, both mentally and physically).

I can't imagine using a larger style of this pillow as the small size has been completely adequate. I have never used a memory foam pillow before trying this one out, but now I can't imagine using anything else, especially one that's tailored for side sleeping.

Had one of the same brand but was smaller and I liked it better this one is OK but to large and not as firm. If I can find the one like I had before I will buy it.

I have been using this wash since it came out probably 2 or 3 years! My kids love it, it smells good (i don't think it is overly powerful unless you use way too much), and it makes a great, tear-free bubble bath.

I can understand why you wouldn't like it if it gave your child a rash, but that isn't the product's fault. Some people are just sensitive to its ingredients.

I love this stuff, it makes the whole bathroom and the kids hair smell great! My two daughters also seem to like this also. IT does have some soothing effects. If I took a bath with this I bet it'd help me fall asleep too! :)
