Pampers SoftCare Baby Fresh Wipes 1x Fitment, 72 Count (Pack of 8)

Pampers SoftCare Baby Fresh Wipes 1x Fitment, 72 CountJust the best out there. They are nice and soft, wet from the first one you use when open. Some wipes are almost dry when you open the package. The cover helps keeping the wipes wet as well. Great for travel.

I have a regular subscription for these wipes that I buy for my grandson (now 17 months). My daughter loves them. They provide the right amount of moisture.

These are the best wipes, and for a good price. They do not dry out, like I have had Huggies do. And, they do not have a wierd smell, like some of the "natural" products do. I am all for saving the environment, but I think that these are better for that than other brands because one wipe, and you are done! I don't have to use a ton of wipes to clean a mess, and I am not throwing out dry, stinky wipes.

Lifewave Silent Night Patches

Lifewave Silent Night PatchesAfter many sleepless nights, I went to a naturapath who suggested these patches. He needed to find the right accupuncture point for me to place them but since the first time I have used them, I have had a 95% increase of a restful and full nights sleep. I do take magnesium at night as well, but thank you God for these sleep patches!!!!

I was asked to evaluate these at a relative's house. They have two poisons, belladonna and arsenic. I can find no reputable medical endorsement of this product and they are going into the garbage at this house.

Sleepblend - Sleep Support - 60 vegi capsules

Sleepblend - Sleep Support - 60 vegi capsulesI have problems staying asleep. This product helped tons! I've been using it for a few weeks now and have given up my Tylenol PM which helped me sleep but made me drowsy the next day! Thanks!

I took two tabs last night which was my first night & I am still sleepy now at 3:30 the next day, guess I will try just one tonight. I started with two because I have a problem with insomnia for the past few months due to over active thyroid.I really hope this works out for me.

A few days later I am sleeping better with taking just one pill at night : )

I use this during stressful times or if I've had coffee late in the day and I know I'll have trouble falling asleep. It works within about half an hour, feels natural (not like I'm being drugged) and I don't wake up with a sleeping-pill hangover. It's not as strong as a drugstore sleeping pill, but I like these way better.

Relaxso Aroma Lavender Midnight Mask, Velvet Azure

Relaxso Aroma Lavender Midnight Mask, Velvet AzureI ordered this because I have trouble sleeping and problems with my eyelids swelling so I thought this might help. I opened it and right away smelled the lavender, then I looked at it and it's the wrong color. Not a big deal, I'm not a picky one however I specifically picked blue over the green that I received. It is a little more plush that I was expected, but it's still light enough if I am sleeping on my side that it doesn't push right into my eyeball.

My spouse snores like crazy. He's been checked and he does not have sleep apnea just a snoring problem short of surgery these are the only alternative to a good night's sleep for both of us. They last for 8 hours so YEAH! After a few weeks of taking these he can even skip a night but not two in a row. These are wonderful.

Okay....so perhaps I'm a little gullible when it comes to product claims, especially when I wanted something to work so badly. I purchased this product in hopes that I would be able to spend the night with my boyfriend WITHOUT ending a romantic night with the inevitable "raising of the roof" snoring sound I so frequently produce :) Well, not so much. For the first hour of sleep, it seemed to help.....after that, right back to the rib punches and the "roll over"....."you're snoring"....that I endure. I was really disappointed in the performance of the product. If anyone has found a product that works better, I'd love to hear about it because this one was NOT it. Happy snoring! Save your money on this one!

Planetary Herbals Full Spectrum Valerian Extract Tablets, 650 mg, 60-Count Bottles (Pack of 2)

Planetary Herbals Full Spectrum Valerian Extract Tablets, 650 mg, 60-Count BottlesI've tried every brand offered at Target, Walmart, and Amazon.com (if it was eligible for free shipping), and this one is the most potent. You only need to take 1 tablet, as opposed to 3 to 5 for the other brands. This helps me sleep if I've had caffeine later in the day. It also helps my muscles relax and my jaw to stop clenching during sleep. I take it after going to the chiropractor, getting a massage, or using new muscles that haven't been used in a while to prevent my muscles from seizing up. I always make sure I have a back-up bottle--I love this stuff and don't want to run out. The other brands are weaker and not worth it.

This valerian is much more effective than other valerian. It has higher mg per dose plus it has a higher valerenic acid content than most. I have tried many valerian products and this one is the most effective to aid with sleep and muscle relaxation.

Product itself is OK, but I'm taking it with 5-HTP. The Valerian pills STINK literally smells up my entire kitchen when I open the bottle. However, since starting the Valerian/5-HTP regimen, I'm sleeping much better and more regularly which is why I ordered it in the first place. I'll probably see about a liquid extract or gelcap when I run low on these, but it seems to be working.

I started taking these after having a little bit of insomnia. These helped me a lot! You do have to go straight to bed after taking the pills, as they start acting anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes after taking. Not that I would recommend taking it with alcoholic beverages, but I've taken these a couple of times after a night of drinking and they still helped me have a much, much better night of sleep. Highly satisfied!

The quality of the tablets is good. I can feel a little relaxation after taking them. I have anxiety disorder and take stronger sedatives so for me to get any calming effect from these I take 3 or 4. But if you just need them for stress or sleeping I think they would work well for you by just taking one or two.

They don't fit well. They leak around the legs because of the poor fit. The state on the package that these fit just like underwearlet me tell you that is not true. They are cheaply made and bulky. They do not look like underpants. When they are wet, they are heavy and fall down. Sometimes when you are putting them on, the paper around the waist tears so badly you can not use the pull-up. Futuro Wrist Support, Cushioning Beads, Adjust To Fit, 1 Wrist Brace

Futuro Wrist Support, Cushioning Beads, Adjust To Fit, 1 Wrist BraceOn a trip to Boston last year I found that I had neglected to pack my two braces. Being there only a few nights I tried to do without the first night and it was terrible. The following morning I picked up a pair of these at a well known three lettered drug store.

I have worn four different brands/types of braces for carpal tunnel. These are by far the most comfortable and worked better for me than any other brace I had tried.

I first thought that the little pillow that sits in the palm of your hand was more of a useless gimmick but I was quite surprised how effective it was. The difference in a nights sleep with these as opposed to the others I have worn was very obvious.

All the braces of this type utilize one or more metal and/or plastic supports to stiffen your wrist while you sleep. You may not realize it, but when you sleep your hands curl in at the wrist. For most folks this really does not cause a problem, however for people who have performed repetitive wrist movements over a number of years it can lead to serious discomfort.

The Carpal Tunnel is a sheath like tunnel in your wrist which has a main nerve (median nerve) to your hand going through it. The long term repetitive motions cause that sheath to thicken and in turn constricts the nerve when the wrist/hand is in certain positions; the above mentioned curled sleeping position is one of them. You wake up with your hand un-functional, tingling fingers or, as I experience, feeling as though your fingers are on fire and want to explode. It makes for a very long uncomfortable night indeed.

The purpose of the supports in the braces then is to inhibit the curling action of your wrist while you sleep. These braces have the usual beefy metal piece which is formed to the shape under your hand. However where I have always had the problem of the metal brace digging into my palm while I slept and my hand pushed against the brace, these little beany pillows have totally taken care of that. For this reason alone I love them.

Another great thing is that the brace fits either hand; no longer do you have to fish through the racks to try and find the correct hand.

The material is also very comfortable to wear; flexible and form fits around your arm and wrist wonderfully. Everything about these braces was well thought out except for one thing.

THE BAD NEWS:

The Achilles' heel of these braces is in the fastening system. Like every brace of the this type I know of they use a hook and loop method to close around your wrist. The stiffer hook part of the fastening system however mates not to a sewn on strip of the loop material but to the brace itself. The outside of braces are made from two different materials; a stretchy ribbed piece for the top of the hand and a fuzzy fleece like piece for the underside of the hand. The hooked tabs lock onto this fuzzy part of the brace quiet effectively at first but only after four months or so I started to see that where the hooked tabs mated to the brace body was beginning to fray which meant that they no longer held on as well. After a couple more months the hooked tapes would come loose during the night. To make it even more disappointing, on my wrist, the hooked tabs catch where there are a series of vent holes; the pulling loose of the material has exposed the inner shell of the brace and has me concerned that this will cause the braces to eventually tear here.

At this point the braces loosen up every night; the hooked tabs having less to grab no longer fit flush to the brace so they stick up a bit and detach when my hand just rubs up against something.

My wife and I have been examining the braces with the desire to attach a new strip of material for the hooks to bond to. The very small size of the hooks has made a bit of a challenge however to find something as effective. I hope that we can find something soon.

Although, at this price, the braces are for their effectiveness and comfort a great buy, and I do not regret purchasing them, the self destructive design is bothersome.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

They are half the price and twice as effective and comfortable as the prescription braces I had worn.

They have got to come up with a better way of locking them on your wrist. The self destructive design makes them almost worthless after only a half a years nightly use.

NOTE: Please see the comment section of this review for some links to some photos showing a simple mod I made to extend the life/usefulness of the braces.

K

I'm a Physical Therapist and I'm using one of these for each of my wrists for Thumb CMC arthritis (the joint between the long bone and the wrist bone). On one side, I also have a spur on another wrist bone in line with the thumb that is especially painful with flexing my wrist, as you usually do at night, although I never had pain at night. My thumb specialist MD prescribed a custom Forearm/Thumb Spica Splint for the worst side for use at night that would stabilize my wrist and thumb. It was helpful and after a few modifications, it was tolerable enough to wear, but not what I would call 'comfortable'. Had I not discovered this brace, I would definitely have continued using it regularly. But when I saw this and felt how comfortable it was with the cushioning beads, I decided to try it in place of my custom splint, even though it didn't actually stabilize my thumb, except somewhat through stabilizing my wrist. After using it and finding it so comfortable and having as good of an effect as the custom splint, I decided to get a second one for my other hand.

For a month now I've been using both every night. They are so comfortable that I would wear them even if I didn't have a problem. I set the straps to fit the first night and I've never moved the straps since. I'm able to slip my hand easily in and out of it when I need to when I get up at night.

The brace hasn't cured my arthritis, so I still have pain depending on how I use my thumbs and wrists during the day, but I can do a lot more with much less pain, now that the condition isn't being aggravated by the positioning at night. I do a lot of manual therapy as a Physical Therapist, so being able to use my hands is critically important to my livelihood. I'm also very physically active--kayaking, cycling, hiking with trekking poles, using free weights, and so on--activities that are stressful on the wrists and thumbs.

Probably the most common use of this brace would be for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or any wrist condition where stabilization of the wrist in this position at night is recommended. But it's worth a try for Thumb CMC arthritis where a Spica splint is recommended. And I would recommend it sooner rather than later at the very early stages of wrist or thumb pain or numbness and tingling. Or even just for prevention if you use your hands and wrists in a very stressful way, as in the use of a Computer all day.

Best wrist supports I've had. I wear them every night, and they are not even too hot on the warm nights (although this is California so we don't have too many warm nights). I've had them before and after quite a while the fastenings did curl and stretch, as other people have commented. With this new set I am trying to keep the same size and just push my hands through instead of using the closer tabs. So far so good.

Read Best Reviews of Futuro Wrist Support, Cushioning Beads, Adjust To Fit, 1 Wrist Brace Here

These are by far the most effective and comfortable braces I have worn on my wrists while sleeping to help alleviate repetitive motion damage. I am not sure if the cushioning beads do anything useful, but overall the splint works effectively and it does not rub uncomfortably overnight. I have had a pair for about 4 months now. I wore them for about 2 months straight to get all of my pain to go away and now I wear them more as needed, maybe 10 nights a month. The splint slides on and then there is a piece of material with three Velcro tabs that wrap around your wrist and secure on the underside of the splint. This is easy to use and worked great for the first two months. Now though, I wake up in the middle of the night to find one or two tabs have come loose. It's a quick fix, even when not fully awake, but it makes me wonder how much longer they will last and if they are still helping my wrists. These are nice splints, but they are not cheap and I don't want to have to replace them every 4 to 6 months.

So, PERFECT that I am going to order 2 more

I tried them all! ***** This night brace is number 1 *****

Over 25 years of wasted money on braces.

When I wasn't looking, this blue night brace appeared.

I too am small frame boned and it fit me just perfect.

I just puchased another one for my sister.

My sister is well over 225 and it also fit her.

The first reviewer commented that it was too large for his wife

and that the brace was too large.

Again as I stated above, I too am small framed bone and it fit me just perfect!

THIS BRACE IS ADJUSTABLE

Knowing that I have been wearing it every night for 1 year,

I am going to order 3 more for furture use.

The first one lasted me 1 year.

Apothecary Products Flents Quiet Please Foam Ear Plugs 50-Pair

Apothecary Products Flents Quiet Please Foam Ear Plugs 50-PairAnother revision (as of 6/2012): I think that Flents heard the complaints from long time users. I recently ordered the other Flents Quiet Please...the ones that are hexagonal foam. Although they got positive reviews on Amazon, they were not as good as the original. I returned them and again ordered the 50 pr jar. I am pleasantly surprised! One pair is again lasting 5 days with very effective sound blocking. I won't delete my original review because it shows that sellers can respond to buyers complaints. Thank You Flents.

Revised review alert! Below is the review I wrote upon recieving the 50pr container in January (I thought I was getting a good buy)...I had a small box to go through and didn't open and use this order until last week. As another critic said, Flents seems to have changed the quality and not for the better. The good news is that they still are comfortable and block noise as effectively. The bad news is that where as I used to be able to get at least 4 nights wear out of one pair, this new order is barely usable for 2 wearings. I had an older pair that I keep in a travel kit and the difference is noticeable...the new foam is softer and breaks down faster. They are also slightly shorter. Shame on Flents for diminishing the quality of a wonderful product. So much for the good price I thought I was getting. I would rather pay a bit more as the price of consistancy. But having said that, below is my original review:

I've been using Flents Quiet Please Ear Plugs for a few years now...I wish I had known about them years before. They are far better than Hearos, Macks, or even the other Flent earplug styles for noise blocking and comfort. Watch what you buy because Flent's also makes another Quiet Please model(called Ear Stopples) and a plastic foam style called Quiet Time...these are not the same! The only drawback is that they do have to be disposed of within 3-6 uses. But that's not really a big deal. Here are a few usage tips if you have a hard time inserting them:

1)Moisten your ear canal with a few drops of water with one hand while you roll the plug as tightly as possible with the other.

2)Pull you ear away from you head with the opposite hand while you insert the plug.

3)Open you mouth as wide as possible...this seems to help open the canal.

4)Work quickly...the plugs start to expand within seconds. If it doesn't go immediately, don't attempt to stuff in the expanded plug. Re-roll the plug and re-mositen you ear.

5)Don't expect both ear canals to be the same angle. For me, the right one always goes in more easily than the left. Be patient...it may take several tries before you get a sense of the angle of each ear.

I live in a dorm, and it can get extremely noisy very quickly, especially on weekends. I use these to study and to sleep. They are extremely helpful, and I cannot hear much with these, even a roommate tapping away at the keys of her computer. I recommend these to anyone who wants some peace and quiet.

Buy Apothecary Products Flents Quiet Please Foam Ear Plugs 50-Pair Now

I've been using these 29 DB Quiet Please earplugs for years, so I finally bought them in a large quantity (50 pairs). Sadly, this big plastic jar of earplugs contains a different quality product than what I was used to. They're a harder foam and slightly bigger than the ones I'd bought in small sets in stores in the past. They hurt my ears, especially when I'm sleeping on my side and it gets pressed further into my ear. Also, the crackly noise they normally make when they're first expanding in your ear canal doesn't always go away. They make that noise randomly at other times, too.

Another reviewer complained of these same problems, but I disagree with someone who said they're not effective. They do block outside noise very well. I live in a noisy apartment building in New York City, and these are the reason I can get some rest. I might have to experiment with other kinds, though, if this new hard foam and large size is the standard for this brand now. I found another kind that's for women's smaller ears and made of a softer foam.

These are inexpensive enough to keep some in my pocket for emergencies. I also use them at the theater. Some times the theater likes to jack up the sound to over ride the ambient sound created by the concentrations of minors, at other times movies change volume between music and dialog. These plugs are efficient in insertion and extraction.

Want Apothecary Products Flents Quiet Please Foam Ear Plugs 50-Pair Discount?

I had to comment on the posts complaining that the quality of these have diminished as of late. I've been using these for years, and the quality has remained consistant throughout. It seems the complaints have to do with these not holding up for multiple night's use. I do occasionally flip them to the opposite side to get a second night's use out of them and found these to be as effective as on the first night. On those rare occasions when I've needed to use them several time in a day (e.g. on an airplane when they must be removed to converse with the flight attendant), I've found that three or four re-uses is the max before they lose their ability to flex back, but this has always been the case. I have noticed no change in the quality of these in the decade I've been wearing them.

Long story short, I can't sleep without earplugs. I've tried EVERY brand on the market and found these to be the most comfortable and best at sound reduction. I also take a couple pair along on an airplane when travelling, and to concerts where the volume may be cranked up to the point of discomfort for me. These take the edge off loud music making it enjoyable instead of ear-splitting.

In these bulk containers, they're as inexpensive as it gets (less than 20 cents per single use at 6/27/11 price including shipping). So why re-use them in the first place?

Highly recommended.
