These patches relieve debilitating hip, back, knee, and thigh pain for me when nothing else works and are much friendlier to the rest of my body than prescription drugs.Read Best Reviews of Tiger Balm Tiger Balm Regular Here
We have tried several different brands of "pain patches" with mixed results, but it wasn't until a friend told us about "Tiger Balm" did we finaly find one that works well for both my joint pain and my wife's back pain. We have used all of the different sizes of these patches and they stay on great, don't get too hot, and provide very quick relief.Highly recommended!

I love these things. My boyfriend gets a bit put off by the strong clove smell, but I love it!The size of these patches are perfect for whatever your needsI frequently use them on my lower back as well as my neck and shoulders. There's a bit of a tingle at first, but then you can really start to feel it working. The best part is that unlike other Tiger Balm products, there's no mess afterwards!
Word of advice, however, after applying the patch be sure to give your hands a rinse. You don't want to get that clove stuff near your eyes!

Got this and Passionflower at the same time and tried using concurrently. Knocked the heck out but I had difficulty breathing (which I get time to time anyhow but this happened a few times with this product). My wife also took it and said she had terrible dreams. We put the bottle in the hallway closet for the time being until I decide to either try it again or throw it away. It did arrive on time though!Read Best Reviews of Solgar - Sfp Valerian Extract, 60 veggie caps Here
H2O+ Sea Results Deep Sleep Recovery Cream Facial Night Treatments
L'Oreal Paris RevitaLift Deep-Set Wrinkle Repair Day Lotion, SPF 15, 1.7-Fluid Ounce
Just a note, no one product will solve all your skin problems, so keep in mind that I do use other products like facial scrubs, facial wash, microdermabrasion and as I mentioned a moisturizer to help with the process. Not all at once of course. The point is that this product can only do so much, so keep your expectations realistic. If you use this product correctly you will see positive results.I used this and the night formula on my forehead exactly as the directions specify . . . no change whatsoever after 12 weeks. It was applied to clean skin as instructed, faithfully *every* day, but my forehead lines look just the same. For comparison information, I'm in my mid-50s, fair-skinned with very minimal sun damage (a dermatologist commented on that fact when I consulted him for another issue). I get plenty of sleep, stay well-hydrated, avoid sun exposure, etc.--all the things one should do to protect her complexion. I also don't have excessively-deep forehead lines, but, hey . . . at 55, unless you've managed not to smile or frown your entire life, you're going to have some!
All in all, I found this cream to have no value. Fortunately, I bought it and the night formula in a BOGO offer, so I was only out half the price of the pair. On the plus side, I guess I'll say it didn't do any damage . . . .

After using this product I notice that the lotion flakes up as the day progresses. I did not like this product because of this, as the flakes can get in your hair and on your clothing. I have tried the night cream and it works fine. I will definately not buy the day cream ever again. Ladies stick with a cream that stays on your skin, don't buy this dud. Right now I use this (as a backup)whenever my night cream runs out before bed.L'Oreal Paris RevitaLift Deep-Set Wrinkle Repair Day Lotion, SPF 15, 1.7-Fluid OunceThis is a good product. It goes on smoothly and feels great all day.
It keeps your wrinkles at bay, but doesn't feel greasy.

Macks Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs Value Pack, 6-Count (Pack of 2)
The best ones I found were Flents Ear Stopples SoftWax/Cotten; Howard Leight MAX; Ohropax; Bio Ears with Microban; and "World's Finest Natural Ear Plugs." None of them work as well or fit as well as MACKS. PERIOD. They have various kinds of problems among them such as letting in noise, not staying put, being too hard to conform to your ears, etc.
Yes, I know some people have commented that they can get dirty and feel a little sticky. Well they work better BECAUSE they are a little sticky so they stay in place and don't develop a gap during the night when you move your head and let the noise in. If you keep them in the container they came in instead of sitting them out then they won't pick up dust.
A close second would be the Worlds Finest Earplugs that are made out of essentially the same kind of material silicone. But they are not as pliable as MACKS and not quite as tacky so they start out good but then in the middle of the night they let in some noise around the edges.
No, I don't work for MACKS or have anything to do with them or gain from sales or own any stock. I'm just writing this to help other people who have suffered through years of not being able to sleep through SNORING. THESE THINGS WORK!!!!!!! :):):)My son snores very heavily, so on a ski trip with him last week, I asked him to wear Breathe Right strips. Instead of doing that, he gave me 2 of these Mack's plugs to wear, and I slept so soundly that I never even heard my cell's alarm go off at 7 A M, 5 mornings in a row. They lasted fine for the 5 nights. I'm on line with Amazon now to buy some and wanted to share my results.

I use Mack's earplugs pretty much all the time to deal with issues I have with noise. 12+ hours a day ( and in public places like shopping and libraries) would not be that unusual for me (I can just hear the comments now, heh!) With that much usage, there are a few points to let you have comfortable and long wearing experience.1. The earplugs should be a cone shaped 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide at the top. They need to be wetted in order to insert well. A little water or spit does the job. When firmly seated, they will create a strong seal and noise just STOPS dead. If they slip out, they will not seal well and are pretty much useless to stop noise or water. About 2 days of use before I put them aside to get washed and grab another (used) pair.
2. The earplugs can be WASHED and reused many, many times. The best way to wash is to place in the washing machine with a few lint free cloths, low water setting, and a little detergent and bleach. They come out sticky like they were when new. Even old ones will yellow but work well, especially after they warm up and become softer in your ear. When they become too hard and dried out, throw them away.
3. The size they come in the package are TOO SMALL for me. I take about a 1/5 of one of the plugs and add it to the earplug WHEN I FIRST USE THEM. You can tell if they are too small if they are hard to remove from your ear. If they are too BIG, they will be uncomfortable when lying on them. The extra piece will pretty much stick in but has a tendency to start separating again after a couple dozen wearings. Be careful that you do not let the separate piece fall off in your ear. Never happened to me yet, but...
4. Mack's are GREAT for swimming. Inserted properly, they will keep water pretty much out. Never completely dry but really close.
5. Used with a white noise generator (Dohm-DS), the plugs will pretty much guarantee a goods nights sleep even with snoring, cars, or barking dogs.
6. Mack's work well for loud tool usage and I don't have to worry about bulky mufflers.
7. Works well in airplanes but be careful about altitude changes. Pull them out occasionally to let the pressure change. Nothing like flying without the noise of the engines or passengers.
These things have given me years of peace and quiet and sleep. I have plenty stashed away in case of the apocalypse. If you have any issue with noise, this is the way to handle it. It may take a few weeks of wearing in order to get used to them but its worth the time.

This is a great product that works superbly, BUT you can find them cheaper at Walmart. Don't let the "Pack of 2" fool you, this is actually ONE package of 12 individual earplugs (6 pairs).Want Macks Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs Value Pack, 6-Count (Pack of 2) Discount?
I've tried all types of earplugs for sleeping, and this is the only type that is comfortable enough for use all night. I find them extremely useful for getting a good night's sleep, and very comfortable. They block out noise well enough not sure whether the noise reduction is as much as the strongest foam plugs, but at least it's close.
It's important to apply them as directed they need to stick to your outer ear. Ear wax, dirt, etc. can keep them from sticking properly; that's the main reason you need to discard them after a few uses. Don't insert them into the ear canal.

Some of the prescription heavy-hitting sleep aids (Ambien, etc.) didn't help me at all in my endeavor to overcome this problem. The one prescription sleep aid that does consistently work for me is a heavy, heavy duty one that has many more side effects than it does benefits.
I tried the kindler, gentler route and investigated many life changes, learning more than I ever wanted to about the world of "sleep hygiene" at my GP's recommendation last year. I tried melatonin to no avail, finding I could practically take it in any form by the fistful any not feel any drowsier.
The same is not true for valerian, thankfully, or at least Gaia Herb's valerian. Gaia offers an exceptional and a potent form of the herb. No sooner than half an hour before I am ready to doze off I drop two eyedroppers full of the herb in a cup of caffeine-free tea (something strong enough to mask the flavor; typically not chamomile) and within fifteen minutes feel calmer.
Not having to worry about any negative effects on my liver or any habit-forming effects is an added bonus.

We switched from Huggies Goodnights to these after several leaks. No leaks with these, and they're comfortable and soft. We've been using them for six months now and my daughter always wakes up with dry sheets. I wish I'd found these sooner...they're a lot cheaper than Huggies brand, and in my opinion, better quality.Read Best Reviews of SleepOvers® Youth Pants, Small/Medium, Case of 60 Here
Cranberry Tea by Alvita - 24 Bags
During a lecture on herbal medicine (with the 'H' pronounced very deliberately), the herbal practitioner discussed what was known of the biochemistry of Valerian root. Apparently it acts on the GABA receptor in a manner very similar to way benzodiazepines act (like valium, xanax, ativan, klonopin...). So when they recommend Valerian root for its sleep promoting and/or anti-anxiety effects, it probably really is an effective treatment. But then it seems to me it is probably also not a completely benign medication (we know the benzos aren't). I asked the instructor if people could become tolerant or dependent on Valerian root, or if it could interact with other medications the way benzos can. She smiled politely, doing her charitable best to conceal her contempt for my ignorance and the attitudes she presumed were behind my question. After a beat, she answered "no." "You see, this is how plant spirits differ from pharmaceuticals. The plant spirits only go where they are needed."
I'm not sure if I flinched or if I successfully suppressed my knee-jerk spasm of skepticism. But this is where the CAM stuff gets away from me. I want to have an open mind. I certainly believe there is wisdom and alternates ways of healing out there outside of western medicine. But I had a hard time swallowing it when CAM practitioners want it both ways. They use the hard sciences any time it supports the use of alternative medications, but the second the hard science conflicts with their beliefs, they fall back on mystical explanations. I'm not saying there's nothing to that, but let's just say it's not something I can wrap my mind around.
In general, I think the herbal medicines are probably effective and safe when used very moderately. Just as you can't get in too much trouble chewing cocaine leaves (versus snorting refined cocaine), you probably won't run into troubles with an herbal tea made with Valerian (versus potent doses of benzos).
I think a lot of physicians have no problem with people using alternative medications except for a concern about the unknown. An MD is not trained to convert units of herbal supplements into standard benzo doses, for example, so it introduces confounders.
I'm not down on the herbal meds but I do believe that, when they work, they work for the same reasons pharmaceuticals work: They have active ingredients causing real physiological effects. And a placebo effect factors in, but we all know by now that our prescription drugs are benefit from placebo effects, so that's a wash. So know what you are taking, how much is considered safe, and talk to your doctors about it. Don't fool yourself into believing that herbal medications are harmless because they are "natural." If your doctor is condescending and automatically dismissive, get a new doc.
Ultimately, the course challenged me to more precisely define what an open mind is. I have an open mind, in that I'm curious, I'm open to learning, I don't believe I know everything, and I'm willing to listen to other perspectives. But an open-mind is not a blank mind. I have my experiences, biases, and education kicking around up there. My open mind does not have to believe everything it hears. I can have an open mind and still maintain a critical stance.
By the way, I'm giving thumbs up to this product. It's a nice tea, nice relaxing bedtime treat with just a bit of honey. If you need it for insomnia of muscle spasms, just make sure you talk to your doctor about the udnerlying problems and mention any supplements or herbal meds you use. Thank you for listening.

My midwife recommended this product, and I drank it throughout my second and third trimesters. My labor was slow, but I experienced nothing you might really call pain (pressure and some discomfort) all the way to 9 centimeters. Then I pushed 3 times and my son was born. I'm not saying for sure that it was the tea...but I didn't have labors like this with my other two.At any rate, it's tasty and not harmful. Just remember to tell your midwife or doctor that you're using it. I still drink it just cause I like it.It's true, this tea really stinks in dry form. When you put it in boiling water, it stinks less. But, it really worked for me. Gives you a nice drowsy feeling before bed, good to calm nerves at the office. I keep mine wrapped in two plastic bags and stuffed in a drawer. Try it.Was told by a friend to try Nettle tea for allergies. Brought it & it works great & quickly. Long time allergy suffer who loves Nettle tea. I'm able to use it & stopped all the other medications....
Stay on Satin wrapping scarf style #7879
I would no longer recommend this product. I still use them on occassion b/c I'm so used to it at this point. (I just use it as a scarf not necessarily for growth). I can definitely tell that the company has capitalized on the demand for hair grow products. They've decreased the amount of formula in the each scarf, in order to stretch it out, to make more money!I got a small one of these for my daughter who has a short angled bob, and wrapping this on her head makes her not wake up with crazy hair, awesome. However I ordered the longer one for me because I have long hair. I have never used the product because it didn't come with wrapping instructions, so I have no clue how to get my hair in it. I've played with it a bit trying to figure it out, and nothing. Usage instructions are necessary!!!! The small one my daughter uses works well, and doesn't make her hair greasy or anything, and it does seem to grow quicker. Overall a good product, but it's useless unless you already know how to use it.
