After all the good reviews I was so excited to have moisturized hands again. My hands are DRY. Dry, itchy, cracked, sometimes bleeding. I needed a solution and I really had high hopes for this product. I was severely let down. These gloves were not intended to moisturize hands, they were obviously just soften them. I put them on overnight as directed and I woke up to intensely dry, sweaty, and GRAY hands. Yes, my hands were gray. Shower Shock Caffeinated Soap

Well nothing funny to say like eating the soap or drinking it... because I know better. The soap works great, it isn't a OMG I can feel the difference type thing its more subtle like making you more alert in the morning. Now this will be something only used in the morning or when you are in need of a slight pick up because it will keep you awake for a little while if you are going to sleep so don't replace all of your soap with this. Highly recommend this to people that want a extra boost in the morning to wake up, with out using a having to use a huge cup of coffee or a ton of caffeinated/energy drinks. Now the human body can deal with up to 400mg's of caffeine after that it make you jittery, anxious, hard to focus, and so on. This only has 200mg's in it in a 4ounce bar. That is hardly enough to get near the 400mg OD range but enough to give the brain a nice kick start.

This really is a great way to wake up in the morning, especially since I'm so dependent on coffee to jump start my day. Since I was looking at doing an Amazon order for another item, I bought this soap through there instead of Think Geek, which actually had a 3 bar pack for a better price. I unfortunately assumed what I was ordering from Amazon was also a 3 pack because of the cost, and was very disappointed when I received only 1 bar. Brookstone Anti-Snore Pillow

I had purchased this pillow to replace the sona anti-snore pillow for my husband. It was horrible. Didn't work at all. I lasted all of a half an hour before I had to give him his old pillow back. Brookstone refuses to refund the item because it's considered a "personal item". Their customer service said I couldn't contact the manufacturer for a refund because it was made in China, recommended I try to sell it on Ebay as a solution. It's almost like an internet scam. Please don't fall for it like I did.

I purchased this pillow to replace lost Sona-Pillow.

This pillow comes with pillow case and also regular pillow case will fit. Sona-Pillow didn't come with pillow case and cost in addition to pillow itself.

It is smaller than Sona-Pillow. Sona-Pillow was bigger and it may take a lot of space on the bed.

However, I purchased Sona-Pillow again. This new anti-snore pillow didn't do its job for me.

Side sleeping is difficult because no space to put arm under pillow. Still my ear harts with ear cup which supposed to make space for ear.

The intense hydration treatment mask goes on as a cream and stayed wet and pliable for the 10 minutes I left it on. The cream has a light pleasant scent reminded me of a clover smell. After 10 minutes most of cream was absorbed by the skin and what was left I removed with a warm washcloth.

My skin felt very nice right after the application of the mask. In the morning when I looked in the mirror the tiny wrinkles around my eyes were practically invisible. The skin looked smooth and taught. The skin felt softer than normal. I enjoyed the feeling of my skin right after a hot shower and it also gave me really nice results in the morning. The scent was very light and did not keep me from falling asleep (some stronger scents do).

I like the packaging of Burt's Bees' Treatment Mask. It comes in a tube with a large cap so you store the tube upside down standing on the cap . I am attaching a collage of 2 photos under the customers photos and you see the cap in photo #1. The gravity keeps the cream at the opening and it is easy to get out even when there is just a little bit left. I also was impressed that the new tube came sealed with foil, so you are guaranteed to have fresh and wet cream when you open it (photo #2).

Dreammate Sleep Inducer

This Dreammate wrist band is a wonderful product in many ways. It has helped me to sleep better, and for that I am very thankful. When it stimulates 3 acupuncture points on your left wrist, it sends some "message" to the brain that makes you drowsy. Glad it shuts itself off after 30 minutes because I often fall asleep while it is still on.

That said, it is not perfect. This product will not make your mind stop wandering, and it doesn't solve every sleep problem. I think it is worth a try, however, since the concept of stimulating acupuncture points is sound. The real negative is shoddy workmanship -mine has fallen apart. The glue has come off two of the velcroe strips that hold the watch on your wrist. My husband, who is a hobbyist and good with knowing what to use, has tried a variety of different glues, but they don't last. I tried to contact the manufacturer, but they are somewhere in the Far East. I've come up with a system of paper clips and clasps that I have to use to keep it on.

I would'nt go to this trouble if it didn't help. I just wish it was a bit more sturdy.

The dream mate along with a very very small amount of a prescription medication results in a delightful relaxing sleep. Thank you.

I started taking this after I had taken the d-ribose and acetyl-l-carnitine. I did not notice any changes but then again I did note a great increase of energy with the ribose and carnitine. Science of Sleep Wedge for Acid Reflux

I have tried several wedge pillows for my acid reflux. Most are too uncomfortable but this one is great. The width and length measurements are the largest I could find and that is what makes the difference. It is also not as tall as some of the others which also allows you to use your "own" pillow on top. I like to sleep on my back as well as my side and this pillow allows you to do both. I could not sleep on my side with the other wedge pillows I tried. It is a little pricey for really just a piece of foam, but it is worth the good night's sleep!

This pillow has worked for me, though it is bit pricey in my opinion. It is reasonably comfortable to sleep on after an adjustment period (you have to get used to sleeping on a hill!) The adjustment period was quick however and I sleep fine on the incline.

It is quite wide, which is a benefit as it permits one to change positions without having to readjust the pillow under you. The width is no problem for a wider bed, but might crowd another occupant in a standard size bed.

I was a bit doubtful about the 5" height as I thought it might not be high enough. Since the 5" is at the maximum end, the actual elevation of one's chest and abdomen is considerably less -particularly if one sleeps about 2/3's of the way up the pillow (typical for me). However it is a trade-off between forever sliding downhill as from a higher pillow and putting pressure on the portion of the body remaining relatively flat and getting high enough to mitigate acid reflux.

I have made it a point to adjust my position during the night to get as high on the incline as possible at each waking opportunity.

On the advice and counsel of my gastroenterolgist, the maximum benefit comes with using an inclined pillow and a acid reducing drug such as a proton-pump inhibitor to limit further damage to my lower esophagus (Barrett's esophagus.)

I have used the pillow only for about two months, so I have no comments on the durability as yet. It seems to be holding up well thus far.

Considering both the choices and the price range, this is probably the best value. I would recommend it to anyone suffering from GERD or Barretts. It certainly is cheaper than a bed in which the head of the bed can be elevated!

I just received it today and, so far, I'm not happy with the quality. The foam smells so strong and so bad, it is terribly hard, and the cover is made very cheaply. I have the cover in the washing machine right now, in a lingerie bag to hopefully keep it from falling apart.....I have to get as much of the smell eliminated as possible. (I've bought numerous wedges and supports and never did any of those foam products smell like this, nor were the ones intended for use with the back this hard.)

This wedge pillow is slightly larger than a similar one sold in BedBath&Beyond for 29.95, but works pretty effectively in slightly raising the head by a few inches. I would say the title is a little misleading because for true acid reflux patients, what you need to do is raise the entire bed by 3 to 6 inches or so, not just elevate the head and shoulders. Wedge pillows work for some people but for me it really didn't help. Unless you get the angle and length of the wedge pillow just right you end up folding you body in the middle, constricting your stomach, making digestion more difficult and your acid reflux worse. I guess this product is good if you have a mild condition, but if your condition is moderate to severe, you might want to seriously consider raising your entire bed (the head side only) using planks or boards or bricks or specially made bedposts risers. This is true for snorers as well.

I just received my pranamat eco today (lavender) and tried it out for about 25 minutes and so far, I like it. At first I was hesitant to try it out because I sure as heck didn't want to lie on a "bed of nails" (that's what the lotus points feel like) but as I lay myself down on it, it didn't feel like it at all. At first, it felt a bit strange, but about 1 minute later, my back felt all warm and I started to feel relaxed. The brochure says that under 20 minutes it's energizing, and after 25 minutes it can become very relaxing. You can even sleep on it which I plan to do tonight.

It works on the meridian system and stimulation of the points using the lotuses embedded in each mat can awaken your energy system and help with pain relief, insomnia, meditation and so much more. I'm looking forward to using it for restful sleep as I'm a new mama and we all know what comes with a new baby no sleep!

I can definitely see myself using this every day, or at least a few days a week, even for just a few minutes to for energy and longer times for relaxation. I also like this particular one because of the products used to make it no cheap plastic or synthetic padding here instead, the cover is linen and and padding is made of coconut fiber.

I use my Pranamat a few times a week before bed. I place it lengthwise on the bed touching my pillow and lie on it face up for 10-20 minutes. It stings for the first 10 seconds then feels warm. I recommend using it daily for at least 10 minutes at a time for a week before you decide whether you like it--it takes a few days to get used to, then you may be hooked. :)

I usually have tight back muscles and this helps loosen them considerably, even after a hard workout. I also feel mentally relaxed after using my Pranamat. It is well made and well worth the cost.

I highly recommend this for anyone with a tight back or trouble sleeping.

Mack's Ear Seals with Removable Cord (Pair)

I bought a pair of Mack's Ear Seals a few years ago at a local drug store, and they are some of the best reusable earplugs you can buy -certainly the best I've ever used. They have a neon yellow rubber base topped with four graded silicone flanges. From tip to end, they're about one inch long.

The NRR (noise reduction rating) of these earplugs is 27 decibels, and man, do they work well. I wear them primarily at concerts and find that they allow me to hear the band clearly, but they reduce the noise level to a comfortable volume.

I also wear these earplugs while traveling (a godsend in planes, trains, and youth hostels), and sometimes while sleeping at home to block out the really loud chirping birds that have nested in the tree outside our bedroom window. These earplugs cancel out small sounds entirely.

The grippy silicone flanges keep these earplugs in place. The fit is pretty comfortable, much more so than I find memory foam earplugs to be, and I have average-sized ear canals. (For those with smaller ear canals, I would recommend Etymotic's Baby Blues Earplugs.) Wearing Mack's Ear Seals while sleeping works fine for me because I tend to sleep on my back; however, those who sleep on their sides or stomachs may not find these earplugs comfortable against a pillow because the yellow ends stick out past the ear.

Mack's Ear Seals are made of silicone and rubber, so they are perfect for those with latex allergies and are waterproof. They come in a clear rectangular snap case, which is handy for traveling. In addition to the plugs, you also get a thin detachable cord. I have personally never used the cord, but I see how it could be useful for sporting events, etc. Recommended!

If you gently twist them into your ear, you can hear NOTHING other than the buzzing in your own head!

These are probably the best I've ever tried.

2 drawbaks:

1. they have a stem that sticks out too much to make them appropriate for sleeping with

2. they are slightly big, which means that you constantly feel them in your ear, if you're on the small side. No way you can avoid that completely with any plug, but it is a bit uncomfortable.

When you take them off, though, you just suddenly realize you were sitting in a room full of noises you never even noticed--until you saw what real silence is about!

Remember to always TWIST them out, not pull them out, as they may make your ears pop badly...

These are pretty good for lap swimming. I am admittedly not very fast, but I didn't need any Swimmers Ear drops or the like after my work out today.

I like the cord on it because I think it would be awkward to try to chase down one that happened to fall out. There was no danger of these falling out, though, when they were inserted and there was no pain or pressure. It was an added bonus that it made things even quieter and more serene.

I recommend these!

Update 10/31/10: I think I have used these approximately 10 times and the cord pulled out of the plug on one side today. They are still keeping water out, though.

I've been told I have small ear canals but these still fit great. I had considered noise cancelling head phones but these are so much more ecconomical and portablitiy is a no brainer. I have used many different brands of earplugs as I am a light sleeper and often have had no choice if I wanted to get any decent amount of sleep. These earplugs are hands down the best on the market. I hear nothing and for me they are very comfortable to sleep with all night.

I do not twist them in or out. I simply grab my ear with the opposing hand, reaching from behind my head and tug on my ear to open more and push in the plug with the other hand and do the same in reverse to remove. Also, I've learned that large doses can actually make my insomnia worse. I've had my best success with the 1mg dose. She likes this particular brand. It tastes good. If you use it for your child, make sure you tell them not to chew it -it needs to dissolve in his or her mouth.

Talk to your child's doctor before starting this medication for your child, but it may work well for you, too.

EDIT: As another reviewer noted, BRAND DOES MATTER. The potency between different brands is different. 1mg of this brand does not necessary equal 1mg of another brand. This brand seems to be more potent than other brands we have tried.

I take melatonin regularly for sleep and I thought it would be great to have it on subscribe and save. It does not indicate in the description that it also has vitamin B6 in it. Each 3mg tablet has 500% of your daily requirement of vitamin B6 in it. Which means if you're like me and take at least one a day you're going to quickly run into far more B6 than your body needs.

If you only use it (melatonin) occassionally I'm sure a little extra B6 never hurt anyone but if you take it (melatonin) regularly I wouldn't recommend this formulation.

... my friends and family agree make sure you don't have to get up for at least 7 hours! We've all noticed that this stuff will leave you groggy the next morning unless you've been able to wake up naturally; naturally with Melatonin = 7.5-9 hours from my experience.

I highly recommend this product to establish a sleep cycle, but there may not be much benefit to long term use.

This is a strange product. It seems to work for half the people that try it, and do nothing at all for the other half. I am lucky I guess, because it seems to work for me. I've been taking it for almost a week now, and my girlfriend noticed immediately that my horrible all night snoring has been reduced to... a snore. Just one. But how? Apparently no one on the internet knows (try googling it, there are no answers)! Furthermore, the ingredients belladonna (a.k.a. Deadly Nightshade) and ephedra (ancient chinese medicine with possible links to heart conditions) are concerningboth are not something you want to take in large doses. Regardless, this product will either work its wizardry on you or make you think you've been had. It's a coin toss. But for its price, it's probably worth a try. My only real problem with it is that I seem to randomly in the night choke on my own saliva about an hour or two after using the spray, leading into a small coughing fit (I don't think this happens to most people though). This has never happened to me before, and it's rather alarming, especially since its happened a couple nights in a row now.

Ultimately though, the scariest thing is that I have no idea how it works. I have no idea what else it's doing to the rest of my bodymy heart and my respiratory systems specifically. But somehow, it works.
