Kneipp Herbal Bath - Valerian & Hops

I received a sample of the Kneipp Bedtime bath and liked the smell and it did not seem to bother my sensitive skin. I ordered the larger size and when my grandchildren came over, I put some in their bath. Now whenever they spend the night they want to take a bath in 'blue' water. It is now part of our nightly ritual and gets them calm and ready to go to bed after an exciting day with Grammie and Pop.

I have tried out ten different fragrances of this brand and prefer the bath salts to the oils in general. The salts don't have food coloring of any kind like the oils do.

I am giving this particular fragrance, Valerian and Hops, one star due to the way it smells.

It smells like kerosene. Turns the water a blue/green shade.

It really can go either way with these as far as the scent goes. There is nothing in between. Either it is amazingly delicious, or it stinks.

This one is supposed to be soothing and calming but I had to end my bath early to get away from the bad scent. If you have ever smelled kerosene or jet fuel, this is what this smells like.

This herbal bath is highly concentrated and smells wonderful! I LOVE running my garden tub to the brink with hot water and pouring in about a teaspoon of this (the heat from the water spreads the scent easily). By the time I get out of the tub, I'm nrealy asleep!

I absolutely love this stuff as it totally relaxes me and makes me sleep very soundly and it makes my master bedroom suite smell so good too! I take it on vacation in the small size too. The absolute best of aromatherapy! (the eucalyptus is good when you are sick, tho!). My kids have always liked the blue water bath too!
