This mask feels cheap, the strap isn't quite long enough for larger heads (it's too tight), and it doesn't have the under eye cushions like most quality masks to block out light coming in from below.

If you look up the word "Bruxism", you will see this definition: ....is when you clench (tightly hold your top and bottom teeth together) or grind (slide your teeth back and forth over each other) your teeth. Unfortunately, I did not look that up until I received the product. I purchased this product because I grind my teeth while sleeping. The reviews and the description, indicate that this device is used for that purpose (a reviewer or two stated it didn't help with their snoring...I was a bit confused by their reviews) Upon receiving this device, I understand their reviews because all over the box, the instructions, EVERYWHERE, it specifically states the device is for SNORING. Nowhere does it state anything about teeth grinding and/or clenching. Even though some reviewers apparently used it for that purpose and it appears to work for them, I am sending it right back to Amazon. This guard fits over both your top and bottom teeth. You "custom fit" it to your mouth by boiling and fitting. Being that it covers the top and bottom teeth...they are basically "encased" within the guard. I don't think you'd be able to open your mouth without taking it out. The guards that I have seen and, since researched, appear to be only one section that fits on the bottom set of teeth only...allowing you to open and close your mouth pretty much like normal, but keeping the top teeth from grinding against the bottom during sleep. The search continues for a guard that fits my needs and has good reviews.

I looked at many wedge pillow online but the dimensions and the slope weren't to my liking. Then I found one at a website but the price was too high in my opinion. I don't know if I was wrong in expecting this sleep cap to be breathable enough for me to put my hair in rollers when it is wet, and put this cap over it to keep everything in place, and still have my hair dry overnight. My hair is long-ish (a little past my shoulders) but it is not thick. I used it once and probably won't use it again unless for some reason I need to hold a dry hair style in place, which is not something I ever do. This might be helpful for braided hair (cornrows) to not mess it up, but even then I would prefer to use something thinner on my head. This is rather bulky and is foam texture, and that little poof that they show on top is weird and has a solid plastic ring gathering the fabric loosely, so you can't tighten it. It's just weird. Maybe I didn't understand the purpose of this thing.

I've had excellent results with St. Johns Wort capsules over the years, and was looking into getting a plant for myself, when I came across this tea. I drink at least a cup a day of various teas (usually Green Tea) so I figured I would give this a try. It has a brownish reddish tint after steeping, a very earthy aroma (I prefer the more pleasant aroma of Chamomile tea), and kind of tastes like it smells. It has a earthy taste and a bitter aftertaste, I always add a bit of sugar to sweeten my tea and it still had quite a bit of a bitter aftertaste. It is not so bitter that it is off-putting, just beware that this isn't your normal black/green/white tea flavor. I have had trouble getting to sleep for the past few years. I tend to lay in bed in the dark and starting thinking and worrying over everything. Sometimes I'd roll around in bed for over 3 hours before I'd get to sleep. I can't take most sleeping pills, because they always cause me to wake up feeling awful or just oversleep. Do not expect to feel tired or groggy as most sleeping pills make you feel. These don't really make me feel tired, but they calm my nerves and make it easier for me to fall asleep. I take them about 30 minutes before I plan to go to sleep. Once I turn off the lights and roll over, I fall asleep almost immediately.
They make my mouth a tiny bit dry after they dissolve, but a small drink of water fixes it. The taste is pleasant as well.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these for someone having trouble falling asleep. Of course, they won't work for everyone, but I think they are worth a shot for anyone.

Great little product, with an innovative, effective design. I'd been using adhesive strips for the past year to allow me, a guy with allergies, to breathe normally and reduce bouts of snoring. This product works almost as well for me, without all the daily unpackaging, sticky glue, and monthly expense.I have a smallish nose, which fits the clip well, but I have no idea how it might work with larger or smaller noses. If it fits, though, the air flows nicely although I keep the second clip handy at bedside; once or twice a week, the clip pops out while I'm sleeping, and I simply reach over and pop in another one if I notice. Just a minor annoyance for me, especially considering the alternatives.
If you give this a try, just be sure to insert it correctly and then experiment a bit for comfort. Mine has never hurt after I figured out the correct way to insert it (the instructions are foggy) and then gave my nose a week or so to adapt. For me, some mild initial discomfort, nothing more, once I learned that the two tiny balls should face inward and not touch the skin. Definitely remember that if you buy. (Better instructions are available online if you Google "video instructions nozovent".)
My only concern is long-term: how long will the clips last? My first pair have more or less retained their shape for several weeks, thus far, but even a slight change can reduce effectiveness. At least they're cheap and come in pairs. Meanwhile, I'm sleeping well, with the added peace of mind that I'm waking my wife less often. It's nearly all good.
UPDATE IN MAY 2010: I'm approaching the end of my second year with this product. I stand by the above review, but I've learned that I can make each clip deliver peak performance for a month or two (when I retire it because it gets dirty despite washing). So one pack lasts me about 3-4 months. Here's the simple trick: bending the clip backward (the sides with the tiny balls facing outward) while not in use. I use a twist tie (the type that comes with trash bags) that I've made into a small circle, and I just insert the nasal clip into the circle each morning--with the clip bent backward, the opposite of how I wear it at night. This process takes five seconds, and the clip then regains its original shape and effectiveness before night falls. It's such an easy way to prolong clip life that I have to wonder if the company holds that little secret tightly. Whatever, I do like this product. Maybe you will, too, but needs and noses differ.

I have a short narrow nose. I am diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. I used the product and find it hurts. The tips are hard and reach so far up they are extremely uncomfortable. I cut off a tiny bit of the tips with scissors so it didn't go so far up, and it was more comfortable. It still worked. I didn't snore (my husband reports). We also have an oxymeter, and my low oxygen periods were reduced from 20% of the night to 10%. There was another product that worked even better, though. The Clear Max-Air Nose Cones (sinuscones.com) reduced low oxygen to virtually zero and were much more comfortable, but somewhat more expensive ($20 plus shipping). Here's the trick, though. After cleansing my face (I also use Olivella bar soap) I leave my face dripping wet. I have a tendency to be a night owl so I often don't wait until before bed to apply this wonderful elixir. If I know I'll be working late into the night, I'll apply it in the early evening and allow it to work overtime.
What's ironic is that when I first started using the soap, I couldn't justify the cost of this moisturizer. It seemed far too much for such a little bit. I no longer use an eye cream, no special neck cream at all all I need is Olivella and my skin thanks me every day. Finally a product worthy of a letter and a review. Do try it and again, do not apply to merely moist or dry skin. Wetter is better and as an extra treat, when you're done, rub the residue into your cuticles. Even my manicurist is shocked over how I no longer have raggedy cuticles that I've suffered since forever.

I find Olivella is best used overnight because when i woke up i had a fresh young glow to my skin and was pleased with the results. Some should be advised that you may be allergic to the ingredients and do a test before hand. Even if you are not allergic, when i first used the product my skin did break out but i had remembered reading somewhere how since the it can actually help normalize your skin that breakouts are sometimes a common thing in the beginning so i continued to use it. I'm glad i did because it definitely proves it's worth keeping.
I also have mix combo of oily/dry skin so i try to focus on the dry areas while using benzoyl peroxide on any areas that seem they are about to break out. I found this combination to work better than anything i have ever tried so now i can proudly say i have finally found my secret to healthy skin. Hopefully this may help others!

Then, at the airport in Long Beach, CA I found Dream Water. I was a little shocked at the price but decided to try it anyway. Because it was expensive, I tried half a shot and it worked, well, like a dream. A whole shot makes me do weird things in my sleep, but a half shot makes me fall asleep and get a good 6-8 hours with no hangover effect even during my severe episodes of insomnia.
As a nurse, I would like to recommend that you be careful taking it every day. One of the ingredients (5-HTP) can cause serotonin syndrome in certain doses. Since we don't know the exact dose they use, I would look up serotonin syndrome and be on the look out for side effects if you take it regularly. Just in case. I haven't had any side effects, but better safe than sorry.
Also, be careful mixing it with certain other meds used to adjust mood (anxiety/depression meds) or other sleep aids even natural ones. Just a heads up.

Throughout my life, I never had problems going to bed, and I never took any sleeping-related pills, until 2009, when some traumas happened to me that caused medical problems and increasing chronic pain. I saw this product at Wal-Mart and was a little skeptical. However I have always had trouble falling asleep and lately staying asleep because of noise and sunlight (I work overnight). My wife and I go through frequent bouts of insomnia we both have demanding jobs and long commutes, so when the opportunity arises to get in a full 8hrs we seldom are capable of taking advantage.Now I'm not sure how much is placebo effect and how much is active ingredients but the two of us have been sleeping like rocks since we started taking this stuff and it's a full, hearty sleep, not drug induced coma-type sleep.
