Elasto Gel Hot / Cold Sinus Mask

I bought this after researching eye masks for a while. I get a lot of eyestrain for using the computer mostly, but they turn into migraines or just regular headaches. So I wanted something that didn't just block out any light, but also cooled and was comfortable. I'd say this is the most comfortable mask I've ever tried (Probably tried somewhere around 5 masks). Because its made of gel and not like sand, its extremely comfy on your face. It is also a bit oversized so that it covers more of your face (almost temples) far more than any of the other ones I've tried.

One thing of note though as previous reviewers also note, is that it only stays cold for about 20-30 minutes. Thats not even long enough for excedrin to kick in before taking it off. Since it has gel in the center, I think it turns into an insulator of the heat that your head has, and becomes warm after the cold wears off. It leaves you feeling kind of oozy if you forget to take it off quick enough. So does that mean that you should stand clear from this? NO NO NO. I love it, but you should just buy 2 to begin with. When one is getting near to losing its coldness, swap it for the one in the freezer. I put a blue ice bag on top and below the bag in the freezer so it gets colder faster.

I've had it for about a month now, and I've used it probably 30 times, sometimes I just put it on if I'm feeling a little warm, or feeling like it could be a stressful day. I just put it over my forehead if I'm working. I have this software called Pzizz (google it) it helps take quick naps and sleep better. The two products combined are great together.

Ok, for people looking for head relief, pick two of these up (can't stress it enough). One of the other tricks I just figured out, Take one of the blue ice bags out of the freezer at the same time. When the gel mask has hit the end of its cooling, the blue ice will be a little melted from being out of the freezer. Put the blue ice in a sock. I used to use face cloths but they can't 'hold' something, and they are too thick. So the sock holds the ice pack and is thin enough that you really feel the cooling of it. Put the gel mask in the freezer and wait until the ice pack melts completely, then go get the gel mask again and it should be cold enough (obviously at this point put the ice pack back in too)

Purchased for hubby who has severe allergies that affect his eyes. He keeps them in the freezer & switches when they lose the coldness. He says they are wonderful for soothing his eyes when itching or when they become extremely painful. Probably could use another one just in case!

I really had a bad sinus infection and needed relief. This product looked appealing since I own their "shoulder ice pack" and love it. The sinus mask fits confortably and conforms to your face nicely. It is puncture proof and easily adjustable. My only complaint is that it only last about 15 minutes. I feel this is due to the fact that it is not as "thick" as say their back or shoulder products. It makes bedtime and after work so much more relaxing. If you need a cheap form of relief from either headaches or sinus troubles by all means pick one up.

I've found that in the absence or even instead of pain meds, one thing counteracts a migraine: brain freeze. I have been known to rinse my hair in icy water, down smoothies or frozen coffee, hold home made ice packs to my head--you name it. This a more convenient alternative for when I'm at home. I just wear this mask over my forehead.

I love the soft, almost silky material surrounding the cold gel--much more soothing than the hard edged plastic on my last gel mask. I disagree that this mask does not get cold enough or stay cold long enough. Sometimes the shock of how cold it is at first hurts to the point that I have to take breaks and place it over my hair. And you should be using it after it's been in the freezer two hours minimum. Now the human body is a hundred degrees; so yes, the thing's gonna cool off. Just flip it over. I've found that the print side is the cooler side, so I place that side next to my skin first. And as everyone else has figured out, I'm going to purchase a second one. Actually, just a single use has killed my migraines each time so far, but I'd like to keep the compress on it to ensure the headache stays dead, lol.

In case you're wondering, the mask size is adjustable, and the gel remains soft in the freezer. I think I'll be purchasing the neck compress, as well.

I suffer from optic neuritis (due to MS), migraines and sinus issues. I have lots of reason to love a product like this. I was using the Cervical Collar by Elasto-Gel over my eyes and forehead for headaches and such and was so pleased to find this version of the Elasto-Gel. The products are great ... meaning they are very comfortable and well constructed.

I use them for their cooling not for heat. The unit can be heated in a microwave or conventional oven or placed in the freezer. Super versatile and when used for cooling, it is not cold enough to cause ice burn / frostbite and merely is extra cool. Super soothing. The cooling factor lasts for about 20 minutes. I can switch off between both of mine but may consider buying another mask in the future.

I often buy tea bags on Amazon because I consistently find the brands and flavors I want at a good price. This tea is lightly flavored and tastes good with some milk in it. Because it is decaf black tea (not herbal tea), be sure to give it an adequate steep before drinking to ensure it is fully brewed.

I've ordered this 3 times so far! I have tried many teas and this is my favorite. I've got this on Subscribe and Save. I brew this well over 5 minutes. I even leave the tea bag in the cup until I finish drinking my cup of tea and it does not turn bitter. I add coconut milk and a little honey or turbinado sugar and it's a delicious drink I have throughout the whole day. I literally have gone through 3 packages (that's 48 tea bags) in 2 1/2 weeks. Maxi-Health Research Mel O Chew Chewable Melatonin

Our Pediatrician recommended Melatonin for our 6 year old who has trouble staying asleep. I have used Melatonin myself, so I was comfortable giving it to him. He is very picky, so I was concerned about taste and most of the Melatonin I could find in stores were larger pills that he couldn't swallow.

Maxi Mel O Chew tastes great and comes in the right dosage for children (don't give it to a child without a pediatrician's guidance). We were told to try 1 2 mg to see what worked for him. We've found 2 mg to be the right dosage. It does not "make" him sleep, it LETS him sleep. There is also no grogginess in the morning we haven't had any trouble getting him up for school regardless of how late it is when he takes it.

This is not a sleeping pill. Melatonin is something your body produces naturally. Teenagers produce a lot (this is why they tend to sleep a lot) and children and older people produce less. It is safe & proven enough that there is a pharmaceutical version that I have taken before, though I don't think they make it for children.

We are using the Melatonin for a month to help our son get into a better sleeping pattern and then we'll see how he does without it. This is not something that has given him trouble sleeping when we've skipped nights on weekends and I've never experienced any dependence either.

Overall a great product and we received it quickly.

For nearly a year my 7 yo daughter has had trouble falling asleep. Usually in bed around 8 pm, she doesn't fall asleep until 10 or 10:30pm. We made sure t.v. and computer time end before dinner. We've done warm baths, long walks, back rubs, used lavendar pillows... Still she would lay in bed and hum or look out the window for an hour or two.

My peditrician suggested 3mgs of Melatonin to help. Initially I started with just 1mg (I'm weary of medicine and even natural suppliments, so I prefer a low dose if it works.) However, we did end up moving to 3mgs after a couple of weeks. It has worked beautifully. She is able to fall asleep within about 3045 minutes of taking the pill. We give it to her about half an hour before bedtime (the same time we do multivitamins). It doesn't MAKE her fall asleep. If we are up a little while longer she isn't drowsy. It does, however, make it easier to fall asleep once she's relaxed in bed. It's a relief that she's getting enough rest!

We've used it for about a month and haven't had any side effects. And she loves the flavor. :)

ok yes, as parents my wife and I should do a better job starting the bedtime routine earlier, turning off the TV earlier, limiting sweets, etc., etc. Well, for whatever reason this is not our strong suit. I really like this earplug. After a few nights they loose their shape but by then the earwax has built up and at the risk of growing bacteria it's probably a good idea to toss them anyway. They are good for sleeping too because they don't stick out of your ear and get all mashed up when your sleep on your side.

SleepRight Breathing Aid-3ct

The SleepRight Breathing Aids are THE BEST!! I have sleep apnea and need to keep my nostrils open when I sleep, even though I use a C-Pap machine. I tried the Brez nasal aid, regular and advanced Breathe Right strips (which only worked if I added medical tape over each end even though I dried my oily skin first with rubbing alcohol), the Snorepin (ouch), and the Silent Sleep snore stopper (which helped but was very uncomfortable). The SleepRight Breathing Aids are flexible, so they're comfortable, are reusable, and can be positioned in a `W' or `M' position to suit you. They look a bit like a butterfly and gently open your nostrils. There is also a tiny plastic carrying case that holds one of the aids guess I'll take that on the next flight I'm on! I just can't say enough about how well these work and how easy it is to get used to them. And how WELL I can sleep now!!

This is a ok product, probably one I would take with me on the road or whenever Im away from home. I have another one that works better, but on this one:

-It works, it does open my nose and gets air flow going on my left nostril (the one that is irregular).

-I like the design since it does allow your nose hairs to stay somewhat useful, filtering air, catching particles, etc.

-The material is a semi-soft plastic that flexes and moves on insert.

What I don't like

-The very end of the clamp, near the bottom of the nose, really pinches your nose, not sure if this is by design or maybe I got too small a part? I dont know, but man did it hurt and I had to build callouses inside my nose..lol

-The device doesn't stay in all night, maybe its me doing something at night (it irritates me?) and I remove it, but I've woken up a few times wondering what it was..patting around my sheets in the middle of night...

I have purchased several products on the same line as these but found I like these the best. When I sleep I find it hard to breath so I do it thru my mouth which gives you dry mouth in the morning. I was forever drinking water when I woke during the night because of breating thru my mouth. These open your passages and let you breath thru your nose at night. I know I snore but can't tell you if these help that or not (I am just thinking that it does) because the only other occupants in this house are cats and they haven't said. My review today is focused on the looks, will send a follow up on functionality when it is actually used. The beads look ok, but they were not clean! There was dirt and some sticky stuff on them.. Could be cleaned though.. No problem. The main problem with it is the cheap rubber band that is used and the way it is knotted, good quality accessories use a plastic like material. Delivery and order processing are fine, no issues here.

I got this as a gift for my mom. I am glad I got it delivered to me first..

A month ago, I never dreamed I would be writing a positive review, or any review for that matter, for magnets and stones for pain relief, but here I am. Last month my young doctor looked frightened as he said, "You could die today." My blood pressure was 172/94 with two powerful medications. Ibuprofen side effects were destroying my kidneys. I know I bought another one that looked exactly like this one after this one broke because I wore it day and night and never took it off and the elastic finally gave out. But no better than any other better brand I've used as a moisturizer or for that matter Argan Oil I've been using for past year or so and like. I really wanted a product with Matrixyl in it, not Furfuryladenine (Kinetin). Here is a good website to explain all about skin care ingredients. My snoring was never that bad, but it had gotten bad enough that my wife requested I look into something to stop it. This appeared to be the most reliable, cost-effective solution.

The description doesn't tell you that you're to take 2 tabs per day, so this is actually a 30-day supply. You take one 30 minutes before going to bed, and chew/suck on another as you're lying in bed. The surprising thing is that, after taking it for a while, you can supposedly cut back to every other day, and possibly less, and still be effective. I've only been using it for about a month, and have accidentally forgotten it a couple days, and apparently it worked I didn't snore.

I used 2 per day for the first week or so, but I often have trouble determining exactly when 30 minutes before I go to bed is, so I've dropped down to just one tab, as I get in bed. It appears to still be just as effective, at least for me. I was worried that the taste would be bad, but it's really not. There's really almost no taste at all.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with it. I wish the description included more of the information that's on the package, but I've listed it for you here, so hopefully there won't be any confusion after purchase.

So far this tablet seems to work. Less snoring. Kind of a pain to follow instructions though. You have to take one 30 minutes before bed and then one at bed time. I guess if you know exactly when you will be going to bed each night this works but my time varies. Results are still being evaluated but so far so good.

I've always been hesitant to try something different for sleep. I've been taking a generic brand of otc sleeping pills for years and besides feeling a bit "slow" upon waking, they've been doing the job in putting to sleep quickly. I've used Melatonin daily for 8 years! Excessive, obviously, but no side effects apart from probably being somewhat addicted to it. But is it bad to be addicted to a good thing?

ResMed Swift LT/Swift LT for Her Nasal Pillows (Medium)

I've had a chance to try out my wife's older nasal pillow.......(She likes it so much, she ordered a new one)...and I like it very much too.

It's very easy to clean, maintain, install, adjust and wear. Although I've only been on my CPAP for several months now, I like this design and it's compatiblilty with my Respironics outfit.

The pillows fit easily into my nostrils and for the most part are comfortable and stable. I find it easy to turn over with and find that it doesn't take much effort to seal any leaks that may occur. The smaller tube that connects to the pillow easily fits into the larger tube that comes with my Respironics and seems to perform as well, if not better than the TrueBlue mask that came with my Respironics.

I would reccomend this nasal pillow to any one currently using a CPAP or anticipating getting one. A perscription is usually needed, and Medicare will pay 80% of the cost.

It's nice to be able to buy just the size you need, one at a time. So far, this is the most comfortable nasal pillow I have found including two previous models of the Swift line.

Interesting to note that with some careful shopping I can purchase most of my CPAP supplies out of pocket for less than the respiratory supply company was charging me for the co-pay alone. No wonder insurance is so expensive!

The upper and lower side "guards" that prevent swallowing the whole device actually protrude into your upper and lower gum line, creating some morning soreness. I solved this problem by customizing the device; cutting off these sideguards. So, it's okay, but I'll try a different brand now.

My (59 year-old) father had a very very bad reaction to Natrol 5MG time release. He was on NO other medications, reasonably healthy (works 40 hours a week), non-smoker and only took Natrol TWICE (two different days and 1 pill only).
