This is a wonderful product. I used to use L'Oreal's top-of-the-line product, Kerastase (Bain de Force shampoo, and Lait Vital conditioner). Also an amazing product, but at $38 for an 8 oz bottle, it got pretty expensive. I've tried a few different products, but have always gone back to Kerastase. It's the best. Or so I thought.

I freely admit, it was the advertizing for L'Oreal Everstrong that drew me in. I tried the Everstrong Bodify shampoo in combination with the Everstrong Reconstruct conditioner. AMAZING. My hair smelled wonderful (similar to Aveda), but more importantly, it continues to be soft, shiny, and healthy looking after several months of use. I won't say it's BETTER than Kerastase, but I will say that it's every bit as good. And for the price, you can't get any better.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the l'oreal everstrong line! I am a frequent bleacher and have very thick hair; this product does wonders! I have tried countless products, masks, and treatments to try to get my hair back to that 'virgin' feel before I started bleaching. Because of this reason, I have avoided blow drying, flat ironing, and curling my hair. When I first saw this I noticed that it was sulfur-free (which I always try to stick to) and that it was very affordable! I tried out the Reconstruct shampoo and conditioner and my hair loves it! The smell is very different (not your usual fruity smell), but it's not very strong and , in my opinion, smells great. After the first wash I could tell a difference. My hair was softer, less tangled, more manageable, and my ends seemed less brittle and more healthy. I also noticed a lot less shedding. I generally tend to use a LOT of shampoo and conditioner, to make sure my hair is fully covered and that there's enough conditioner to set in my hair. A WORD TO THE WISE: a little of this product goes a long way; especially with the conditioner. I quickly learned to use the conditioner very sparingly only on the ends of my hair. If you use a lot, especially on the roots, your hair will be weighed down and appear more oily more quickly. Use sparingly, and the results will be amazing. Definitely stuck to this product.

...but when your hair is no longer damaged, it tends to make your hair very soft and flat. After my daughter uses this product and the condition of her hair improves, she likes the L'Oreal products in this sulfate free line that add volume and body.

My hair is long, making my ends at least 3 years old. It is permed and color treated. I blow dry and curling iron my hair. Needless to say my ends are very dry and very fragile.

I have been looking for comfortable ear plugs for a side-sleeper with tiny ears that will block out noisy neighbors and barking dogs. Most earplugs are too big for my ears and hurt when I wear them all night. After reading the positive reviews, I thought I would give them a try. They do block out the noise wonderfully, but there are two problems with this product...and I suspect with wax earplugs in general. 1) They leave your fingers and ears a waxy mess...like you have been playing with melting crayons. 2) The seal is so perfect, that they kind of hurt your eardrums when put them in because of the air you are inadvertently forcing into your ears when you put them on. If you don't mind that, then it's a great product.

My husband snores, to the point that the bed shakes. He sounds like a hibernating bear.

It's funny to speak of it, but it has been absolutely hellish. It's been going on for a year.

He keeps saying he'll get a sleep study done. Lately, it's been as bad as when our babies were first born.

Tri-Core Pillows - Standard Size Models

I've tried many Orthopedic pillows since my neck was injured in a car accident over a year ago, but this is the first one to fully deliver on its claims. My pain has decreased by about 80% since I started using this pillow. I have not experienced this with any of the other neck rolls or orthopedic pillows that I have tried. As an aside, I also purchased an inversion table and I use that in addition to this pillow. On the days when I still have pain, I use the inversion table for traction and the pain relief is usually instantaneous. As other reviewers have noted, this pillow was not comfortable for the first few days. Lots of pressure on the base of my skull and on my ears from the "lobes" would cause those areas to be a bit sore in the morning. However, my intense neck pain was so significantly alleviated that I decided to stick with it to see if my body would adapt to the pillow. After about a week, the "pressure" issues disappeared and the neck relief benefits remained. I've been using the pillow for about a month and recently purchased one for my husband as well.

Update! We have now had these pillows for several months and still love them! We are side *and* back sleepers and find this pillow very comfortable for both. When side-sleeping, we roll onto the side lobes which are firm enough to keep our heads well supported and in good alignment, yet not too firm as to be uncomfortable. When back sleeping, we just roll back to the middle pocket.

I'm a chiropractor and I sell this in my office. I sell it because I began personally using it and it was hands down the best pillow I've ever had. I read the reviews about too big, too hard, etc. There is a period which you have to go through to get your neck use to the pillow. Chiropractic adjustments will help during this period. I recommend, if the pillow hurts or seems too big, begin with a rolled up towel, gradually increasing the size of the roll until your neck adapts to the reintroduction of your cervical curve. Note this pillow has a roll of different diameter on opposite sides. If it doesn't feel like enough support, simply flip over to the larger roll. My neck seems to change on a day to day basis. Sometimes the small roll does not have enough support, and sometimes the large roll seems like too much. I also recommend the gentle over the standard. The petite core are better for children. Even women and small adults should be able to use the standard size.

I have a bad neck and I've tried every contour/ortho pillow under the sun despite the cost. I had finally found one and stuck with it for several years (contour cloud) but it had to be replaced every 4-5 months because it would flatten after a while. I decided to try one of these tricore pillows and I must admit that it took me longer than usual to get used to it. I almost gave up on it, but after two weeks I was sleeping like a baby and waking without pain. I would suggest starting with the smaller, softer one (midcore) pillow and then progressing to the tricore. I started with the firm one and I think that was my mistake. I'm ordering another for traveling.

I didn't have any neck pain to relieve when I bought this pillow. I chose it because I thought it would provide a sort of head-cradling feel, which I like. In retrospect, that was an unrealistic expectation.

It's a very well-made pillow, but this firm version is *really* firm. Also, it puts too much pressure on the base of my skull--I'm guessing that even the narrower of the two "lobes" is too wide for the length of my neck. (I'm 5' 3".)

If you really love firm pillows, or if your doctor recommends this type of pillow, go for it. But if you're just a casual shopper looking for a comfy pillow, this might not be the one for you.

I was looking so forward to the arrival of this product. It has so many positive reviews. I don't leave a lot of negatives on Amazon, but this is just gross. The "mist" spray smells like it's x80 concentration, it's so overwhelming and nearly made me gag. I sprayed it on my wrist to test it and since I loved the IDEA of this, I left it on for a few minutes.. hoping that maybe I put on too much (with one spray??) and that it would fade to a lovely relaxing smell. It's not meant to spray on your body, and I know that, but I wanted to let it fade as it wore off, and the easiest way for me to continue to check on it was to spray my wrist.

No way. It faded, and left almost a peppery smell. The lavender notes smell very artificial although they may not be artificial.

I am completely disappointed with this, and it wasn't cheap for the extremely small sizes that are included. They are VERY small, but I knew that when I ordered.

I think it's disgusting. The pretty voile bag that it came in was tied shut with a KNOT. So I had to cut it open, and now I can't return it. It was a ridiculous knot. Can't understand why they would even do that.

update: February 24, 2013. I have tried spraying this lightly on my blanket, just one or two quick mists, and I still don't like it at all. I'm not giving up though. The owner of the company seems very nice, and I'm willing to try another scent, if I can find it cheaper somewhere else.

Kirkland Signature Sleep Aid Doxylamine Succinate 25 Mg, 192-Count

I switched over to this product after using Diphenhydramine HCl, the active ingredient in Benadryl. While the Diphenhydramine HClI worked for me, this product is much better. Because it is highly effective, it should be used with care. The following warning is from Wikipedia:

"Side effects

"Doxylamine succinate is a potent anticholinergic and has a side-effect profile common to such drugs, including dry mouth, ataxia, urinary retention, drowsiness, memory problems, inability to concentrate, hallucinations, psychosis, and a marked increased sensitivity to external stimuli. Like many hypnotics, it should not be combined with other antihistamines, such as Zyrtec (cetirizine) or diphenhydramine, as this combination can increase the risk of serious side effects. Using doxylamine over a long period of time is not recommended and can cause dependence. However, the drug is not addictive and withdrawal effects are unlikely to be experienced with prolonged use."

Finally, a sleeping pill that actually works! Can't take this full strength because it makes me sleep way too long and leaves me groggy the entire rest of the day. Broken in half, allows a GOOD full nights sleep with no bad side effects. Will try a 1/4 pill dosage soon and see what happens. Fearing dependence or wearing off, I only take this every 3rd or 4th night and it appears to be regulating my system to sleep better on it's own.

Absolutely can't beat the price and thanks Amazon for bringing this to my attention.

Update 4/12/2012: 1 year into using this neat little pill and it still does it's magic every time. I also believe that it really has helped regulate my sleep pattern better because I don't really need it as much as I did when first purchased.

I am given a very limited supply of Ambien by my cautious physician every year. So, when I experience bouts of sleeplessness, I usually find myself taking melatonin, which while occassionaly works, it can become less effective the more you take it.

Looking for over-the-counter alternatives, my Amazon search led me to a list of sleeping aids. This Kirkland brand advertises itself as being a credible alternative to the more expensive Unisom brand. I decided to pick up a box. Last evening, when I was feeling particularly "wired" after coming home and attempting to sleep, I took one of the small blue pills.

I don't know if the Kirkland Signature Sleep Aid pill actually helped me get to sleep faster, but it certainly kept me asleep throughout the night, and in the morning, I was so groggy that I didn't even want to get out of bed.

I realize that these pills are going to have different affects on each individual, but I can't see how people are testifying that they wake up feeling refreshed. I woke up in a fog, and had to drink a strong cup of coffee and a soda around noon just to bring myself out of a morning-long "funk."

I suppose if you are looking for something outside of a prescription that will suit the purpose of giving you a good night's sleep -then these pills will do the trick. However, I definately don't like the after-effects of being in a "fog" for most of the following morning and afternoon.

We were looking for a product like the original Unisom. I've noticed that recently the "blue sleeping pills" have changed from having Doxylamine Succinate to using Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride instead. This second ingredient doesn't work the same. The Kirkland tablets are exactly what I was looking for. Be warned, though, if you have never taken these before, do not take a whole one at first. Split it in half until you know what the effects are. To this day 1/2 a tablet works fine for me. This package is an excellent value.

I had an eye pillow made by a different manufacturer for about 10 years before it finally tore open. Unable to see how I could live without it, I repaired it with duct tape (hey, I'm a guy, what do you expect), but I figured it was time to get a new one. I was pleased to see on Amazon that many eye pillows, such as the DreamTime eye pillow on this page, come with zippers so the contents can be removed and the material hand-washed. I got a different color than the one on this page (I got the "DreamTime Inner Peace Eye Pillow, Sage Velvet," also sold here at Amazon). The eye pillow that tore open on me was unscented and I was hesitant about getting a scented eye pillow; I was afraid it would be too perfumy. But the scent of the DreamTime eye pillow is quite pleasant and to my liking and I don't find it perfumy at all. It has a mild chamomile smell, and when I use it, it is easy for me to imagine that I am reclining in a field of wild chamomile. Having an eye pillow means not having to put my arm or arms over my eyes (or a folded up t-shirt or a towel or whatever is handy) when I want total darkness. The eye pillow gives me total darkness--100% absolute blackness. It also imparts the pleasant sensation that I get when I gently press my palms to my eyes. The scent is relaxing, the sensation of having the pillow over my eyes is relaxing, the absolute darkness is relaxing, and I highly recommend this inexpensive product (especially at the sale price) to anyone who is looking for a natural way to get some deep relaxation. DreamTimes's eye pillow comes in a sturdy reusable cardboard box (with a ribbon carrying handle). DreamTime eye pillows are obviously marketed to women and that's too bad for guys who might not consider trying them because of how they're marketed. Maybe if they make some with a camo design (just kidding). Highly recommended for anyone who wants a natural aid to deep relaxation.

If you are looking for an eye pillow, do yourself a favor and purchase this one! It has become one of my favorite things. When I use it I feel relaxed and well cared for. I love it for many reasons: the fabric is silk & velvet, it has a zipper so you can take out the herbal contents and hand wash it, and the scent of the filling is so comforting! That is fine for now since before then I was getting 3-4 hrs and taking longer naps or sleeping my mornings away. I sometimes also don't use the same amount everynight, I tend to do 3mg one night and 6mg every other -basically that's just to keep my body getting use to a set intake and not having it work again. I wouldn't recommend anyone trying my method unless you are comfortable or maybe have checked with your doctor. Good choice in melatonin I must say.

I tried Melatonin when I was experiencing some very stressful events in my life that were causing me to not sleep very well or for very long. The first night I used the product it worked great. Sensory isolation helps a lot with my sleeping problems, and this mask does it better than a regular one. But on nights of actual insomnia, just isolation isn't enough. Then the built-in headphones do their work: rain sounds, a waterfall, waves on the beach, or if really necessary, a theta brainwave pattern, all in a program to kill the audio after one hour or two, and goodbye insomnia.

The only reasons it gets four stars rather than five: it's a little uncomfortable to sleep with a cable around, and the speakers are bulky enough that I can feel them a little bit when I lie on the side. This was purchased so I could use white noise to attempt to block out my husband's dreadful snoring. The mask itself is very large. So large, in fact, that I can't quite figure out how to place it on my face to make it comfortable. Even with the velcro in back it is an awkward fit. I am not particularly small or large so I suspect the fit would be similar for most people. The mask is surprisingly lightweight but because it is hard to find a good position on my face I do find its weight settling on my nose to be somewhat annoying. The fabric itself is soft. It came out of the package with a chemical odor, which can't really be avoided. If you are prone to migraines, like I am, this might be of interest. I'm not sure what the "heat' aspect of this thing is supposed to be. I've woken up with a seriously sweaty forehead just about every time I've worn it. The picture shows speakers that hang down over the ear. Mine has speakers inside the mask. Nothing is visible. The other thing I find odd is how the built-in speakers are positioned so that they are actually about an inch too high. They are placed more where the tops of ones ears would be, rather than the opening for the ear. With positioning, you can make it work, but it is awkward and takes some adjusting. The speakers themselves are not exactly high quality. I already have heard a little crackling in them and this thing is only a couple of weeks old. It won't be long until one side or the other cuts out. So...it is better, and more comfortable, than trying to keep ear buds in all night, but still not quite the home run I'd hoped it would be.

Great idea but doesn't quite work out. The thick memory foam makes it hard to sleep in (and that darn memory foam smell what is that?) The sound quality isn't too shabby but you really have to tighten it to block out any sound and to get the headphones on the ears the mask has to be so low on the nose it's a bit uncomfortable. For sitting upright in a car with not too much other noise just fine, but it the driver wants any music it's a bit load and for sleeping? again the giant slab of foam makes it a bit awkward. I use it for hypnosis where I am partially sitting up and in a quiet place but it doesn't help for sleep or masking my partners snoring...

I gave it 3 instead of 2 for the sound and ease of use.

I started taking the pills in conjunction with the cream and I think it's helping. They say it takes about 30-60 days and I'm at day 50. I can definitely tell a difference in hair and skin.. Hylands Restful Legs 50 Tablets

I wish I had had as good a result as the others, but the next day after taking this for the first time I developed a poison ivy rash. I had NO clue that one of the active ingredients was poison ivy. I think they ought to specify that. Who would read the list of ingredients and realize that "Rhus Tox" is really poison ivy? I didn't.

So I took 2 tablets at bedtime and the next day my skin was painful on my left leg. It felt as if I had a sunburn. This skin pain has spread. Then I noticed the rash, and, though this is embarrassing to write about, the rash is in my genital area (oh the misery!). There is no way I came in contact with poison ivy. For one thing, I had not been near any plant life, and another thing, well, it's hard to come in contact with poison ivy "down there", unless one is in the habit of running naked through the woods (I'm not).

The ONLY thing I did prior to developing this rash is take this medicine. My husband said to wait until I'm all cleared up and then try taking it again, to be 100% sure it's the Restful Legs that caused this. But I'll pass. I'm not going to give it a second try.

I searched online and did find others who, after taking Rhus Tox, developed a poison ivy rash. So I'm not alone apparently.

I'm really rather put out by this. Had they said what Rhus Tox was then I might (MIGHT) not have taken this. But you fellow restlegs legs sufferers know how bad restlegs legs can be. Who knows that I might have tried it anyway out of desparation to help my restlegs legs, which has grown more frequent and more severe as I've aged.

But with the reaction I got, I'll take the restless legs. It's the lesser of two evils.

*** update I took this on a Wednesday, and it's now the following Monday. I had to see my doctor for this and she confirmed that the rash is a poison ivy rash. I'm now taking Prednisone to combat this. My doctor took my bottle of Restful Legs and said she intends to report it to the FDA. She said imagine if an 80 year old had this same reaction.

*** second update the manufacturer won't give me their insurance company's name in order for me to file a claim to recover my medical costs. They won't even file a claim on my behalf (this is why they carry product liability insurance, to cover things like this but what good does it do me, the customer, if they won't file a claim?) They insist I get a lawyer and THEN they will have the insurance company talk with the lawyer. So let me see... I'm out the cost of medical care to treat the poison ivy rash I broke out in after taking 2 of their pills, I'm out the cost of prescription drugs, out lost income, and now I'm supposed to cough up money for a lawyer, just to file an insurance claim?

This product works perfectly for me, when my legs are restless at night and keeping me from getting sleep. I highly recommend
