In an effort to break my extremely expensive use of Breathe Right strips, I tried this product (along with several others) due to its favorable reviews. Unfortunately, I wasn't pleased with this one. I found it to be a very floppy mess. The odd configuration of the handle and two nasal inserts was, for me, very awkward. Hylands Insomnia
I've used Insomnia for several years now it's great for those evenings when I know I need a good night's sleep and I'm just too wired up or have too much on my mind and end up tossing and turning. A few tablets under the tongue (no, they don't taste bad) and within a half hour I'm relaxed and comfortably dozing off, with no side effects such as dry mouth or morning grogginess like all of those "sleep aids" that are really just Benadryl with a different label.I have no idea what is in this stuff, but it does what it is supposed to and doesn't do anything else :)
I must admit to being very skeptical of homeopathic medication! I tried many of the sleep aids with diphenhydramine, melatonin and, other formulas with little to no effect. With trepidation I tried Hyland's Insomnia and Hyland's Calms Forte. I've been using these 2 all-natural sleep aids for about a month and a half now with startling effects. I would give both of the above named products a 5-star rating. Why? Because they both help me to fall asleep and stay asleep for a better night's sleep without the awful side effects I experienced with prescription medication.
I take 3 tablets of "Insomnia" with water one night and, the next night I take 3 tablets of "Calms Forte" with water exchanging one for the other every other night so as to avoid daytime side effects and the increasing impotent characteristic that comes with taking medicine every day. Also, I wouldn't recommend taking the 2 medicines together vivid dreams that seemed too real but, your experience may vary.
Now, they are not perfect some nights it takes a while to fall asleep and other nights I may awake multiple times during the night but, I can go back to sleep. Also, don't expect to be "knocked out" like Ambien can do. Overall, I think that if you temper your expectations of Hyland's Insomnia and Calms Forte, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Doxylamine succinate is different from the most common ingredient, Benadryl (diphenhydramine), which is in the vast majority of sleep aids.Both are antihistamines, but for me, Doxylamine succinate acts faster and leaves me slight less drowsy in the morning. In fact, I usually take half of a tablet with good results.
It's hard to find in drug stores...so I was delighted to be able to buy it @ Amazon. Shortly after I got it, I did find it in Costco's at a lower price,hence the 4 star review. Oh well. I was just glad to get it period.

This was recommended by my sleep therapist and I thought I'd give it a try. I had been using sublingual tablets before and they worked OK. However, this seems to be much more effective and work faster than the tablets. I found the taste pleasant, not really minty, and not offensive in any way. The trick is to shake the bottle first, then curl up your tongue and spray the underside of it, trying to keep the liquid under your tongue for as long as possible before swallowing.Its also nice that the bottle is small enough to bring in your carry-on ziplock baggie through TSA.
This is the product that I use regularly and it works well for me.
I find the taste pleasant.
It is important to shake the bottle prior to using. The previous reviewer may have missed this point. Of course many products work well for one person and not for another, so trial and error or trial and success are often required.

Since I always brush my teeth before bed (of course!) and the orange doesn't "go" with minty toothpaste, I thought I'd give this brand a try. Yeah, My review for this product might seem to good to be true. No I am not a paid reviewer. I am a psychotherapist. My wife, I and several friends use this as well as the main clients to whom I recommend it.It works. It tastes good. It is not at all like pill or liquid melatonin. I believe (but am not totally positive) that the other spray melatonin products are an attempt to get a share of this product's market. Lipo-something is supposed to make it different. The others don't have that. This product works.
