This is the first time I have used the Garnier Sleek & Shine. I was tired of my other product leaving a film on my hair and making it look dull. This happened to be on sale so I gave it a shot. I have very thick, wavy hair & straighten it with a flat iron daily. However, after I used the Garnier shampoo & conditioner and blow dried my hair....I DIDN'T have to use the flat iron!!! My hair was almost completely straight & very slick. I am very pleased with this product & probably will never buy another expensive shampoo & conditioner again.
