We have an extremely nervous cat and our vet recommended we give him one of these once or twice a day...it does make him sleep a lot, but it definitely takes that "edge" away from him...he gets along better with the other cats when we give him this.
These pillows are great to use when you have a headache or pain behind the eyes. Love the smell from the lavender. My little girls love to use these ,too, as well s my older children. I have bought several for our house (some kept in fridge to be extra cold) and some I have given as gifts. The two differnet materials are an added bonus. The Bucky eye pillow has the best 'black-out' out of all the eye pillows I've tried, because of the built in pillow on the bottom, inside (which the picture doesn't show). And they are machine washable (some brands actually aren't).
This unit has two speakers, so if you lay your head on the middle you can move your head from side to side to get comofortable yet still hear. It works great,but the cord is too short for comfort. If the radio is on a night stand you have to be close to the edge of the bed to use it the way it was designed. The cord should be at least another 12 inches to be comfortable.

The design is good. It's soft and flexible enough to bend with the pillow and my head. There are two hard lumps where the speakers are, but they're very thin and don't protrude. The only design drawback is the cord, which is rather short. I have to keep my player on the bed rather than on the night stand. I purchased one of these and felt like I had found the perfect pillow speaker. Soft cover, good volume, well placed speakers, it had everything going for it. I used it for about six months and it died. First the speakers started moving around in the case, and then one of the speakers quit working. I purchased a second one figuring it was just a fluke, and the second one died in exactly the same way.
The package and picture state very clearly "Folding Wedge Fitted Pillow Case", and the description says "Soft velour cover is washable and unzips for easy removal", neither of which are true. This is a cover that slips over the narrow end of the wedge and has a band of elastic around the top. It is NOT a replacement for the zippered cover that comes with the Folding Wedge. It is softer than the case that comes with the wedge which is why I gave it one star.
