I got this mask because my old mask was in need of replacement and this one caught my attention because of its cool pack, which seemed like a great idea. In reality, the cool pack is really the only nice part of this mask and the only reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one. The mask itself does not offer much light blocking; to me, that is the most important feature of a sleep mask. It puts a good deal of pressure on the bridge of the nose which is annoying, mildy uncomfortable, and causes gaps under the eyes that let in light. When I took it out of the package, there were two foam rollers attached to either side of the mask that, when the mask is on, would be under each eye. I wasn't sure if these were actually a feature of the mask since they aren't pictured here on the interior, but they were sown on, so it's anyone's guess if they were intended to be part of the mask or not. These foam rollers would probably solve the gap problem I mentioned above, but they were so awful and itchy I mean, FOAM?? I ended up tearing them off, but the interior of this mask is still not a great fabric. It's the same kind of fabric my couch is made out of which doesn't really translate well into something I want to wear on my face all night it's not horrible, but it's not exactly luxurious either. I would recommend a Dream Essentials mask instead. It's the kind of mask I used to have and it's the mask I'm going back to. The cool pack on this mask is nice, but it doesn't make up for the rest of its shortcomings.
I just got my mask and would never sleep without it since then. They are so soft inside and they look cute :-)

I personally don't use the cooling function.
I use this sleeping mask when sleeping in a not entirely dark environment, e.g. if I take a nap or if I sleep longer in the morning or if there comes in light from the street lamps. The sleeping mask is very comfortable to wear and I notice I fall asleep much more quickly. I already washed it by hand and it looks like new.

I really loved this mask. I keep all lights out from my eyes helping me sleep longer and better. The cooling pack didn't really stay cold long but it wasn't really necessary for me. It was great until the cushion things around the eyes fell off at that point they didn't really work as well. Still a great product and I would buy it again.

This mask blocks out all light, and is very comfortable to wear. I've never had more vivid dreams than when I wear this mask, due to deeper sleep. Something about the little sewn-in pillows for under the eyes makes this mask sooo cozy. I also bought one for my husband, who at first protested wearing one, but now I can't rip it off him. I highly recommend this particular mask if you need to block out daylight, or have trouble falling asleep.
Buyer Beware--the image of the product is the discontinued "pump" cleaner--a wonderful product. Replaced by a "ready to use aerosol" but not ready for prime time--my failure rate is over 50% on over a dozen attempts to purchase/use the new version. The company customer service admits they had a "bad batch...." but has no plans to re-introduce the pump--for now I am sticking to the wipes.
