Gro-Egg Color Changing Digital Room Thermometer, White
This is a nice idea my wife and I really liked the concept and the styling of the Gro-Egg for our newborn's nursery. The problem is that the egg does not really work as intended. I have found the temperature displayed is consistenly wrong, usually 3 or 4 degress high. Just yesterday I saw the temp the jumping back and forth once per second between 73 and 77 degrees. An independent check of the room temp with another thermometer showed the room was 71 degrees. Since monitoring temperature is really the whole point, and this does not do it accurately or reliably, it is really not worth taking a chance on. We tossed the package but will attempt to return anyway.
Keep in mind that regardless of what your heating thermostat registers, room temperatures can vary (e.g. one room is draftier than another, so the temperature is cooler in that room). Therefore you cannot test the accuracy of this unit by placing it in a different location from your heating thermostat. Likewise, even if it is warm in your living room, your child's room could be cooler.
There are more accurate room thermometers (see, for example the Chaney AcuRite, which is sold on Amazon and costs less than half of what this product costs), but they will not add to the decor of a child's room, can be difficult to read in the dark (like the Chaney AcuRite), and cannot be read from a distance with a quick glance like you can with this product.
Bottom line: This looks nice and will give you a "ball park" idea of the room temperature, which may be all that you need. For greater accuracy buy something else.

The gro-egg is a gorgeous product and I was very excited about having it tell the temperature. However, it was measuring the house at 77 degrees farenheit when I knew the house was closer to 70 (based on the thermostat and independent temperature measures). I read the manual and it says it has sensitive electronics that taking warming up. After troubleshooting, it still gave an inaccurate measure.Basically, this functions as a red nightlight that just makes me worry. Waste of $30.

I loved the idea of this thing. Unfortunately I ended up returning three separate ones before getting a different thermometer. They are nowhere near accurate. The first one read 71 degrees in a room that was 85 degrees. The second said 79 no matter what temperature the room actually was. This is a cool thermometer, looks good, novel ideal. However, I found it was not very sensitive to temp. changes in the room. It depends on where you place the egg. It doesn't always reflect the true room temperature.

I love, love, love the Loreal Revitalift facial wipes. I have tried many kinds...Dove, Neutrogena, Oil of Olay, Aveno... out of all of them I love these the best. I just wanted to offer the opinion of someone with a large chestI am normally a 36DD and am probably a cup size at least larger than that right now while nursingbut otherwise fairly slenderI wear a size 4 or 6 in clothesso I was worried about ordering a large because I thought the band around the bottom might be too loose. Howeverthe large size fit well. This is the first nursing sleep bra that I am not spilling out of completely. I also purchased one made by motherhood maternity and would not recommend that one for women with larger busts because the front hardly has any elastic at all, and so my breasts fall out any time I bend a little bit. However, just one thing about this Medela bra I don't likethe material is a little thin...I have been wearing it very frequently (3x per week about) and think it might be worn out within a couple of months. Overall, I would definitely recommend it or buy one again if/when this one wears out.

I was a little worried after reading other reviews but this is a great bra. It never claimed to be a sports bra or push up bra and all I wanted was something to keep my chest up off my belly without tight elastic or wires. I'm still pregnant so I'm not sure how it will work when I'm engorged, but I can't see it suddenly becoming flimsy just because I gave birth. As for comments about the material, it's like an old cotton t-shirt or even just like a pair of old-fashioned white cotton panties. It is thin, and when you get cold it shows, but it's not marketed as an outside the house bra anyway. I wear this every day and sleep in it too. I love this bra for a number of reasons:1) it's lightweight
2) keeps nursing pads in place
3) good for sleeping
4) good for days when you need something to hold pads in place, but don't want pressure (i.e. plugged duct, etc)
5) it slides over your breast so no need to mess with buckles or straps
6) it kept up with my weight loss the large fit me after childbirth when I was 60 lbs heavier than I am now and still fits
It isn't that supportive, but personally, if I wear one that is supportive, or has adjustable straps (i.e. one that is tight and get supportive and looks nicer) I end up with a plugged duct. So, I love this bra.

I am a product reviewer. I like to try stuff out as samples and if they work, I will buy the item regular size. I was taken aback at the quantity/size of this product but kept it anyway for my under eye area. I did notice that when I used it at night there was less darkening than there had been before. Don't think the design is that great and doesn't give me that much more open passage. Wouldn't buy it again. I'll stick to the nasal strips until I find something that can help. It also tends to hurt a bit on the septum after wearing this for a few hours.

The pad and pump arrived promptly in a good box, so it was undamaged. The product was exactly as advertised.The extra flaps on each end tucked well under the mattress and have not pulled out in over a month since installing. The pump is quiet and alternates pressure between the two sets of cells very well. Since installing the pad, i have not had to turn my wife to avoid bedsores. I only need to worry about wrinkles in the sheet.
In the future, I would buy a pad that has the micro holes for a little bit of ventilation to cool the back and prevent moisture type bedsores. This has not been a problem for us though.
Occasionally the pump makes a soft clicking and does not alternate pressure. Just turn it off for 5 minutes and turn back on.
I think this pad is a good value for the money. You can buy better but it will cost a lot more.

If you're reading this, you either think you have or have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. One day in early July out of the blue my left heel started to hurt. This summer my plantar fasciitis flared up worse than it ever has. After a day on my feet, I was limping and almost in tears from the pain. My sister had a similar problem a few years ago and found a night splint brought her relief when nothing else did. Not wanting to invest $50.00 or more in a night splint when I wasn't sure it would help me, I opted to buy the less expensive Futuro Sleep Support.Initially, the support made a big difference in my pain level. That first step out of bed in the morning was not as excruciating as it had been and my pain was less during the day. Unfortunately, the improvement only lasted a few days, and then the support did not seem to make a difference and I stopped wearing it consistently after a couple of weeks.
So I consulted a physical therapist who specializes in the treatment of foot/gait problems. He thought the sleep support would be somewhat helpful, though not as much as an actual sleep split, and recommended I resume wearing it. After six weeks of treatment, including stretching and strengthening exercises, my feet were much improved. I continue the regimen of exercises and wear the sleep support most nights. I have resumed my exercise walking and still am mostly pain-free.
If you have minor plantar fasciitis, the Futuro sleep support alone might help. However, if your pain level is severe, as mine was, I do not think this support alone would bring relief from pain, but as part of a more involved treatment plan it might have some benefit.I found it almost impossible to adjust it to keep my foot in the proper position. If I made it loose enough that it didn't cut off circulation in my foot (or calf), then it would slip down the calf and my foot would end up pretty much in its normal position. If I made things tight enough to somewhat hold my foot in the position it should be in for a device like this, then my toes would start to tingle and foot fall asleep right away or there would bee a lot of pressure on my lower leg/ calf area.
Basically, if your foot flexes downward (away from the knee, which is what you're trying to prevent) then it just causes the velcro around the calf to slide down unless you make everything incredibly tight.
Like some others, I had to rip it off after not wearing it for very long in order for me to fall asleep (rather than just having my foot asleep, that is).
I think the concept of "pulling up" on your foot from the top may just be flawed, as opposed to having something under your foot to "push up" on it or hold it up.
Complete waste of money for me. Maybe it would work for some depending on the size and structure of your foot and calf.This splint is working now but I too had problems keeping it on at night. If it was tight enough to keep my foot @ 90 dorsal flexion, my toes would go to sleep and wake me after a few hours and i would take it off. I finally started folding an ankle sock three folds and placing it in the curve of the splint the ankle and the splint. This allows slightly more dorsal flexion without additional tightening of the strap around the ball of the foot. Now the neoprene strap is more giving but is always trying to slightly dorsal flex the foot. After the first night the difference was remarkable. Its basically like a spacer between the dorsal of the ankle and the splint causing more flexion , but its gentle and loose on the ball. I have been fighting pf for 2+ years ! stretching ,icing, inserts ,cortisone shots(ouch!!!) all of which helped some but still in constant pain. These splints are 2 years old and after about 4 weeks initially of fighting them throughout the night i gave up on them. Just a few weeks ago I decided to try them again adding the folded sock as a spacer and glory be!!!! getting pain free!!! finally! hope this helps someone. pf sucks!!

Unisom worked. This particular Unisom (the tablet form) has doxylamine succinate which is an antihistamine. The Unisom Maximum Strength (in gel form) contains Diphenhydramine HCl,which I read somewhere is stronger than doxylamin succinate.PRO: It really works! Within 30 minutes, I felt drowsy.
CON: I still felt drowsy the next morning. I remember the drowsiness went away around noon.
To compare, Nyquil has 6.25 mg of doxylamine succinate per 15 ml. Unisom has 25 mg.
As with all drugs, I only use this for occasional sleeplessness.
So the point is this: You have to figure out what is appropriate for your body type. A skinny person with a lower BMI; be it lack of body fat or muscle weight (100-175lbs) probably only needs a half dose at most. A heavier person that has a higher BMI; be it excess fat or muscle mass (175-250lbs) may need a full dose.

I have been having trouble sleeping due to a certain medication that I've been taking so I decided to buy this. (I bought it at a drugstore, not on amazon.)Let me say this: It worked. It made me feel tired and I fell asleep right away. Compared to how I have been laying in bed tossing and turning until 3 in the morning the past few nights, I thought that was pretty awesome.
But right now it's 12:30 in the afternoon the next day and I'm still tired. I got about 8 1/2 hours of sleep, so that's not the issue.

These are the best OTC sleeping pills I've found, after trying many kinds. These leave me the least groggy, though still a little groggy. But I've also found that I never need the full pill with 25mg. At most I take half a pill, but sometimes I break off even smaller pieces to take. Even the tiniest piece will ease me into sleep eventually, and the less you take, of course, the less groggy you are the next morning.However, even at a half pill, the grogginess is not so bad that my morning coffee doesn't clear it up.

I still can not believe that these things actually work. I tried them as a bit of a lark, thought what could it hurt? Have to say I was pleased with the initial results and have continue to be impressed.Frownies are a kind of stiff craft-like paper with a natural gum adhesive on one side. They come in squares with perforated sections to tear off and use on the desired areas of the face. To apply the Frownies you simply massage the area of application for about 15 seconds, wet the backside of the Frownie patch with either toner mist or plain old water, gently lift the skin adjacent to the application area, to smooth the area, and apply the Frownie patch. Ideally the patch should be left on overnight, but if this is not possible you can still get good results with 2-3 hours of use.
The idea behind these things is that you retrain the facial muscles by temporarily freezing the area. (Much like Botox.) I also think that when you remove the patch, the area is slightly irritated and you get some temporary swelling, thus you see less wrinkling for a short period of time.
I have been using these things for about a month now and can absolutely say that they have helped. Especially in the area beside the mouth and nose. Hints I can offer are: Don't use the huge perforated sections of the square if you don't have to. Cut sections to fit your face and use. When applying to the area, leave a bit of room to the side of the nose they become extremely irritating when they harden up if the patch is brushing against the curved side of the nose. Remove these things in the shower if you can or at the very least thoroughly wet them.
One other issue of note some say that surgical tape is just as effective for use in this manner and is a good deal less expensive. Nexcare flexible clear tape has been reported to yield pretty much the same results. I have not tried the tape being happy with this product, but those looking for an even more affordable solution, might want to check it out.

I am 50 and frown lines around my mouth suddenly appeared a year ago and continued to get worse no matter what product (and I've tried alot) I tried. I have even started thinking Botox or cosmetic surgery, but can't afford it and don't really want to go that route. It is amazing how much these can smooth out the lines around my mouth. I also use it on the crease on my forehead between my eyes and it improves that alot too. The hardest part for me is to remember to put them on at night. Its also kind of embarassing to be caught with them on (my teenage daughter thought I looked hysterical) so I find I only put them on when everyone has already gone to bed. But it also helps even if you put them on for a half hour or so, so sometimes if I forget at night, I put it on in the morning while I get ready for work (I get up earlier than everyone else in my household typical mom, huh?). I went into trying Frownies a little sceptical, however after the first night of wearing them, I noticed a difference already and continue to after a couple of weeks of wearing them every night to bed. One word of caution, it does take the hair off of your face where you put them and you have to be careful how you align them around your mouth as you will create new lines where there weren't any before (they go away after an hour though).
