BED OF NAILS 1913 Mat, Pink - THE ORIGINAL with 8820 spikes

I got in a car accident a couple of months ago and have been going to the chiropractor. I really just randomly found this product while searching on Amazon. I really, really love it. I got a tens machine like the chiropractor has and wish I had the money for an adjuster, but this product definitely does a great job helping with pain. It is hard to get used to at first, I could only lay on it a few minutes at a time at first, but once I got used to the feeling, I loved it and never wanted to get off. The pillow definitely adds to it. I love the pillow more than the mat itself. If you have neck pain, the pillow is AMAZING for that. I wasn't sure if it was worth it to get the pillow and the mat since the pink comes separate unlike the green which you could buy together for less money, but if you're like me and love pink, it is definitely worth getting both.I don't know about the whole 'helping with constipation' part but I know it definitely helps me calm down and relax in situations of anxiety such as when I get home from school or work, or I just lay on it as a study break. I would even bring it to work if I had my own office.

I have built up to using this for 30-40 minutes a day and usually fall asleep on it. The tension and muscle spasms are relieved in waves. My massage therapist is amazed as she has been trying to help me with this for 10 years. I am still trying to master getting on and off the mat but once on it I don't want it to stop! Also working on getting the mat to my upper shoulders...that is a challenge.

Don't you hate those creams that tell you, that you will have beautiful, scar free blemish skin. Well, this is the one, and in a couple of weeks you will start to notice fading dark spots and scars from blemishes. Really it does work, I bought this cream in Mexico and in a few weeks I notice the difference in my skin. I just can't believe that it took away everything that it stated. I ran out and wanted another one. I am glad I founded here in America.

The review of this item says that it is best 2 years from the manufacture date. I did not receive this until January of 2012 and the manufacture date was August of 2010. This explains why i probably have not get the results others 'may' have gotten. I would advise everyone to check the date on the packaging first....I had already started using it and only after a month of use did I notice the date which probably explains why I have seen no results. This item has been part of my everyday nighttime skincare routine for years. The product: evens overall skintone, lightens pigmentation from post acne and sun damage, smoothens the skin drastically, and whitens the whole face. Some people like to compare this to the Shiseido White Lucent range, but I personally like this better. Although it doesn't give the translucent look to the skin, it whitens the skin faster and more drastically. I've been taking Cellfood for over a year now. I first came across it at Whole Foods. I was browsing the vitamin section and, while waiting to be helped, I looked down at the counter and saw these bottles of Cellfood staring up at me. Oddly enough, I was drawn to this stuff. I kept coming back to that display and reading the description of what it was and how it worked. I wasn't willing to fork over nearly $30 for that little bottle, but the Whole Foods guy that was helping me saw how interested I was in it, so he gave me a booklet that went into quite a bit of detail about how it worked. I took it home, read it, and then went online and found it for a little less money (@ the Vitamin Shoppe), so I decided to try it.

Let me say this: That was one of the best things I ever did for myself. I'm 36, and have gone my whole life not knowing what it's like to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed, and feeling as though I got enough sleep. A perfect day for me involved sleeping. All day long. I've always struggled to find the energy to get up and do things, and thought lethargy was just an unfortunate personality trait of mine.

Cellfood is very sour and tastes a lot like lemon juice, so it's a pleasant kind of sour. Depending on your affinity for sour tastes, you can dilute it as much or as little as you want. As a gauge, 12 drops of it in a pint of water tastes similar to squeezing a lemon wedge into the same amount of water. You're supposed to take 24 drops a day, on an empty stomach (at least 20 min before eating, or at least 45 min after eating, I think it is). I put 12 drops in a pint glass, fill it up with water and down it first thing in the morning before I start getting breakfast ready. I do that again before going to bed. I do it this way because it's hard for me to remember to take it when I'm in the middle of my day. If you take 24 drops/day, a bottle will last you for about a month.

For me, that's less than $1/day to feel the best I've ever felt in my life.

I have been a natural food and nutrition 'nut' for years, and have specifically been a proponent of using food NOT supplements to optimize health. I bought this scooter five years ago for $2100.00 and since then I have put as much in it in repairs. I am 450 lbs and this is supose to handle up to 500 lbs and the more you weigh the fewer miles you can go. When I first got it, backing up was very jerky and annoying, I have replaced the trans axle twice and the motor once, I have had the seat shaft welded 4 times and the steering plow broke in half so they had to put in a length of pipe inside to keep that from happening again. Most of this happend after it was out of warranty. Even when the warranty is still effective they will not pay for labor, only parts. Batteries are $300.00 every 18 months if you happen to buy them on line you could get lucky and they send you the right ones the first time, I had to send them back twice. This scooter is very cheaply made, hence the price. My recommendation, buy something else...........

I've only ever used the foam kind before, so after reading few reviews I decided to try out the wax ones... Overall they are ok; do the job. This is a very interesting concept... healthy skin. I've suffered with bad acne since sixth grade and have bought products and acne systems that contained the usual acne treatment chemicals. Roscoe Medical D/E Oxygen Regulator 0-8 Liters Mini

I have purchased three of these regulators from Amazon. I have no problem with the seller but the equipment, for me, is avoidable. One of the regulators leaked heavily, even when in the "0" position. It killed a "B" ("M6") tank in less than 10 minutes. I called the seller and they sent a replacement right away, no questions asked. Yay! The replacement one works fine, for now. However, one of the others now bleeds down even with the selector set on "0" after I turn the tank valve off. This is dangerous, especially when you think you have oxygen and you find out the tank emptied while you weren't looking... For me, I will buy better-made, more expensive regulators to replace these.

4 years ago I had a dental guard custom made at the dentist's office. I was not surprised to learn that my bruxism treatment wasn't covered by my insurance. I wasn't happy, but I paid the 400 bucks for it. I was scratching all my teeth up and something had to be done. Unfortunately, you have to wear those devices regularly. If you don't, you will find it fits your teeth less and less. The doctor helped re-adjust it come, but I still found it to be a bit too tight. I also disliked how extremely hard the plastic was. There was zero shock absorption. It protected my teeth, but it often made my jaw muscles hurt more.

Although nothing will fit like one made at your dentist, I was surprised by how well this fit. It does not slip and I can close my mouth comfortably. The key is to follow the directions EXACTLY. It's critical that when you insert it into your mouth to mold it that you do it right. Do not start to bite down until you have lined it up with your front teeth properly. Time it all, use a mirror like instructed, and make sure you do the suction part quickly and long enough. It says you can try multiple attempts, but just by looking at how much I've indented it, I'm pretty confident that only subtle changes could be made. It's a little bit soft, which is WONDERFUL, since I now cringe at the thought of super hard plastic.

I do have a very small mouth. I can't even use those teeth whitener devices because they make me gag. So I'm completely blown away by this. Considering the price, I do not think I'll ever need my dentist to make me one again. I do not know how different this is from the other "The Doctor's", but I did read those complaints. All I know is this one beat my expectations. It doesn't slip, it's not too tight, and it's just comfortable. Sure, it feels better to wear nothing than it does to wear any night guard, but this is dang close to perfect. And if I lose THIS one I'm not going to freak out. Well worth the 20 bucks!

Edit: Keep in mind I've worn a night guard before, so I'm completely used to it. There is nothing that will sit in your mouth all night that you won't notice, at least at first. Many folks water at the mouth for the first night or two, but that will stop as your brain adjusts to it. The important thing is that it stays comfortable, then after awhile you forget you are wearing it.

I've tried Dentek's Custom Comfort, and Sleep Right's Slim Comfort Adjustable Night Guard. Both worked okay except they're too bulky, and my mouth would not remain closed after I fell asleep. Well, if you've ever slept with your mouth open for whatever reason you know how dry and nasty your mouth will eventually feel sleeping this way -and the sensation will probably wake you in the middle of the night. In fact, after a few days of this, the soft tissues in your mouth will start to feel like leather -not good.

This product is made so no material sits between the teeth at the front of your mouth and your inner lips. That allows your lips to come together and maintain your mouth's microclimate moist and warm while your teeth are cradled in soft cushy plastic that hampers their nightly shenanigans.

You will do well to read and follow the fitting instructions to the t. I had to re-fit mine several times. However the plastic never lost its ability to be reshaped and then retain its new shape. The advice of one reviewer who suggests not biting down all the way when fitting the mouth guard in order to have it last longer does make sense since this will allow for a thicker and hence stronger plastic layer between the teeth. However this will also make it harder for your lips to come together -a definite concern for people with small mouths. The nice thing is you can experiment since you can always reshape it later.

I've worn a nightguard for bruxism for many years. The one I got from my dentist cost several hundred dollars, was hard and inflexible and I always hated it. 9 nights out of ten I would find it on my bedside table in the morning with no memory of removing it. It finally broke. With no dental insurance I gave this a try and was pleasantly surprised. It's far more comfortable than what I got from the dentist. I can even close my mouth when it's in place which I couldn't do with the so-called professional one.

I have severe bruxism and the pain wakes me up at night. I've lost two teeth as a result of the grinding and clenching. My dentist told me it would be $500 for him to fit me with a custom night guard, so he suggested I go to Dick's Sporting Goods to buy an athletic mouth guard. I bought two different ones, including the kind you boil for a custom fit, and they were horrible. Way too big and bulky, and when I tried to sleep, saliva would pool behind the guard and leak out of my mouth. Horrible. I threw both away and tried other methods to help my bruxism, including anxiety medication (which did nothing) to supposedly relax me and my jaw.

I was in a pharmacy yesterday and happened to see this Doctor's advanced comfort night guard. It was $25 (much cheaper here!) and I decided it was the last thing I would try before paying the dentist $500.

One commenter wrote a one-star review saying this is hard plastic and uncomfortable. I'm guessing he/she didn't read the directions. You have to boil this and fit it to your mouth exactly according to the directions (same as you do for most of the athletic mouth guards). I was SHOCKED at the perfect fit I got. It "locks" to my top teeth just as the directions say. Last night I had the BEST sleep I've had in at least a year. Woke up without jaw/tooth/gum pain and without a headache. Amazing! I am going to buy another one for when I wear this one out (I'm wearing it in the day, too, because I have day and night bruxism). I am so happy with this product. here are some good tips that i hope will help some of you out there. the advanced version seems to be less bulky than the classic version, which is a good thing.

try and mold the guard to your bottom teeth so that it doesn't fall out all the time.

I hope they don't change the formula because 'calms' and 'night-forte' taste terrible...seems like a company has a good product and they stop making it to make something worse.

If I use it too many nights in a row I get a headache.

Midnite Midnite Sleep Aid Chewable

I have a real issue with sleep. I don't like to take sleeping pills. What I have found with MidNite is that I need to take 2 pills about an hour before I go to sleep. UPDATE: I'd better pass on this tip. This chinstrap has turned out to be even better than I had originally thought, since I discovered that I was putting it on wrong!

My natural inclination was to put my head through the largest of the three openings, with the label ending up in the back of my head, but near the top. But this caused the front vertical straps to come down annoyingly close to my eyes.

Now I have discovered that this was wrong!

Instead, I put my head through the middle-sized opening, with the label ending up in the back of my head but way down near my neck. That puts my face through the largest opening, allowing the front vertical straps to stay out of my face and end up on the side of my head just in front of my ears.

This is much, much more comfortable all the way around, and holds my chin a little snugger too.

I've been using it nightly for a little over a month now, and it works great. It does take about a week to get used to. Making sure you're putting it on correctly is also a key factor. It's pretty easy to put it on wrong and it feels totally too tight and wrong when you do. I've found that in the morning my mouth and throat are no longer dry, and I don't wake myself up with my own snoring anymore. I'm buying one for my brother for our upcoming trip home for Christmas. We're bunking together and his snoring could set off seismic alarms. I hope he'll consider using it.

I need to hold my mouth closed as I use a CPAP machine to sleep and the pressure is set high enough that it opens my mouth.

This item was the most stay-in-place design & least expensive of all the ones we looked at. It would have been comfortable, if I could've gotten a looser fit. What you need is something to very gently keep your mouth closed, not clamp it shut for gluing!

The first size (medium) was WAY too small, so I asked for an exchange for a larger size. The vendor was kind enough to just send two more in the large size, so there was no postage charge. However, these were also too small, even for my head (6 & 7/8ths hat size). Since I basically got this for my husband, there is no way even an Xtra-large would have been comfortable for him.

For me; I get migraines and sometimes wake up with headaches, and the pressure even from the large would have brought one on, so I gave up. Money down the drain. If you have a shrunken head, or have a small child that snores, this is the anti-snore device for him/her.

Seriously though, I have had dental assistance training, and mouth breathing in CHILDREN will cause severe deformation of the dental arch, which results in misaligned teeth and other problems.

I have used a variety of sleep aids and despite the manufacturer's claims for this product, I find that it doesn't work very well or any better than the many other sleep aid products out there. Do the ingredients make you drowsy? Yes, somewhat. But a main problem is that unless you have time released melatonin, which this product does not have, the melatonin is only effective and out of your system in a matter of a few hours or less. Ask any Doctor.

I took the product about 9:15 PM, fell asleep about 9:45 PM and was awake at 12:30 AM.

In order to get back to sleep I ended up taking 15 MG of time release melatonin and a Unisom Sleep Melt. So for me this product was useless.

This product is termed 'Extra Strength" because it contains 3mg of melatonin. But many folks take many, many times more than that amount of melatonin (time release) to help them get to sleep. So if you have very mild sleep issues this product might help. But if your sleep issues are more severe then pass this by.

This night balm does work really well. I wake up each time with glowing skin and no imperfections (redness, pores, etc). However, my 1 complaint is it's really greasy feeling on the skin.
