3 Inch Thick, 5 pound Density Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattress Pad Bed Topper Made in the USA

I just received my new memory foam. I have owned one before with great results, so when I needed one for my new king size bed the decision was easy. This price is great for a 3" 5lbs memory foam. I previously had a 3" 3lbs. My recommendation is get a minimum of 3" and a 4 or 5 lbs topper. This particular one turned out to be wonderful. My only other suggestions, and I knew because I have had one before, is to unpack it right on top of your bed; because it is shipped vacuumed sealed and compact. As soon as you break the bag seal it will start to grow on you and be hard to move/handle; already being on the bed solves that problem. The smell when unpacked was virtually nonexistent. I put fresh sheet on and went right to bed with no problem. Again, I have own others in the past and this particular memory topper is grade A, top quality. Immediate improvement in sleep and comfort (and help my aching back). If you have persistent back problems, this will help. Also there is a difference in the quality from a memory foam topper made in the USA vs a Chinese made topper. Again, best advice is USA made, minimum 3", and 4 or 5lbs minimum. This one is sold in the 3" and 4" so a great choice.

The product came a day early, as advertised. Let it air out in a well ventilated area for at least 8 hours, then throw it on the bed if the smell allows. It is a markedly different sleep experience. I had a Tempurpedic, and while this doesn't turn your regular mattress into one of those, it is as close as you can get. After doing my research, I decided on the 3" 5lb foam. Glad I did because I am sure that anything less would have left me wishing I had upgraded. I am 5'10, 185lb and it works fine for me. I recommend.

I sought a mattress topper to resurrect an older queen size mattress that was a bit too firm, had some depressions that formed pressure points, and tended to roll you a little towards the sides when sharing the mattress due to the firmer, seldom used center. My own impressions, coupled with what I read in several reviews, led me to seek a higher density foam, which I definitely feel is the right choice. I would go with at least a four pound density, due to the added support and longer life. I went with the three inch, five pound density, and it's been absolutely fantastic. I've had a thousand dollar, twelve inch thick, solid memory foam mattress before, and I can honestly say that my current mattress with this topper feels almost exactly the same. The lower back pain I would feel in the morning was relieved the first night we slept on it. We also toss and turn much less at night, and there's much less motion distribution as well. Some people have commented on the initial chemical smell of the foam, but I honestly didn't find it to be a very big deal at all. I used the topper the first night I got it, and while the smell was certainly noticeable, with a mattress pad and sheet covering it, it didn't bother me. Within four to five days, I didn't notice it at all. It 'airs out' pretty quickly. So overall, I would highly recommend this product, as it has made a world of difference on our mattress. Additionally, I found the Amazon site to be very 'user-friendly', and delivery of the product was prompt.

I've experienced lower back and hip pain since I was in my 20's. I replaced my beds several times with firm mattresses to pillow top mattresses over 20+ years. Nothing relieved the pain. Even on weekends I got up at 5:30 AM because of the pain. The mattress topper is soooo comfortable that I actually sleep in on the weekends and don't want to get up when the alarm goes off during the work week. Finally, a good night's sleep! I wish I did this 20 years ago! We have a motorhome with a traditional mattress and a 1 1/2 inch mattress topper I purchased from a camping site, but that topper doesn't compare to the 3 inch 5 pound memory foam topper. I'm now planning to replace the topper in the motorhome though I may replace the entire mattress with a 5.5 memory foam mattress from All Sleep.

I also have the 3 inch 4 pound memory foam topper from All Sleep that I purchased in January. That worked great, too. I wanted to see if there was a significant difference between the 4 pound and the 5 pound memory foam. There isn't a significant difference, but I like the 5 pound better for my lower back. My husband doesn't notice much difference, but then he doesn't have a back problem. My parents were visiting me recently and slept in the spare bedroom which now has the 3 inch 4 pound memory foam topper and they both love the topper. They are now going to purchase that one for their bed at home. If you're thinking about ordering a mattress topper, DON'T WAIT. You'll be glad you ordered it. If you're reading this, you probably already know about how crucial "density" is when considering a foam mattress pad. Frankly, I didn't know they used a density scale when I initially was looking to buy this; but after reading some other reviews, I found how important it is. My wife has a troublesome back, and while staying at a bed and breakfast for our anniversary, she was excited about how good her back felt after sleeping on the bed. I checked the mattress, and found a thick, heavy foam mattress pad on it. A little Google work, and I came to find this pad. It works extremely well and conforms to your body. I don't have back problems, but it feels much better than our 8 year old mattress does all by itself.

There is an odor upon removing the pad from its packaging, but if you let it air out for a few hours, it goes away. The odor really wasn't that noticeable until you put your face right up against it. So, I would suggest letting it sit out of the plastic for a few hours to let the smell dissipate before putting it on your bed. This was a non-issue in my mind.

And the added bonus: It's made in America. That may seem like a small thing, but with the questionable materials and quality coming out of some other big exporting countries, I was happy to see this.

I have never ever been a good sleeper. Once I'm asleep I'm usually fine, but I'm one of those people that has to lay there for hours before I can fall asleep.

I've tried sleeping pills and things that are supposed to help give me energy during the day like high doses of vitamin D and SAD lights to no avail. The day time things just didn't do anything for me, and sleeping pills, both over the counter and prescription don't give a good quality of sleep and require taking more and more as time goes on, not to mention some have me waking up with terrible headaches.

I'm a small gal at 115-120 LBS so I thought I'd start low. It worked for a few nights but then dwindled off. I thought it was going to be the same situation as the sleeping pills needing more and more. No. I've gone up to around 1.75 ML and that seems to be the perfect amount for me. I haven't had to go up in dosage at all.

I.ve tried other melotonin brands and this one has stood the test of time, works best and includes B6. No fogginess when you wake up but start with a low dosage first like a 1/4-pill then work your way up according to your needs. Too much dosage gave me a headache the next morning. You can get it cheaper on Amazon likely because the expire dates are sooner than you think but I don't know how much effectiveness is lost after the expire dates. Like many other items I think they a good for a while.

Arnica Montana does exactly what it says, only not like Allopathic drugs. Used in conjunction with the Arnica Gel when an injury has occured bruising, swelling and pain is essentially minimalized or stopped. The pellets work internally, and are gentle, the gel works topically with no odor or stickiness.

This combination is what i use for myself and my childrentwin boys under 2yrs old, who are constantly getting bumps and falls. Though I have only just begun using this product, I do not understand the comment from the user posting only one star. First, I was delightfully surprised by the sweet taste of the pellets. As someone who is quite fussy about taste and smell, I found no after taste at all. Second, I suffer from both fibromyalgia and migraines. While I have not yet signed up for dancing and music lessons, and thus would shy from calling the product a miracle, I have found a certain amount of relief since taking this product. A little bit of a flimsy & light construction. Blocks light but the velcro strap is way too short. When I put it on I have it at the maximum length. I don't have a big head at all. I find it way too tight and pressing down on my eyes which I don't like and find a bit uncomfortable. The "lavender scent" is very faint, so it feels more like a gimmick. I'll keep it and hope that the strap stretches out a bit with time so it will become more comfortable.

First things firstthis is a 275 pill bottle. I'd suggest going to the local pharmacy and getting a smaller and less expensive bottle to determine if your sleep cycle is responsive to Melatonin supplements. It seems that some people just aren'ttheir sleep issues are related to something else and this has no real effect. If you determine that Melatonin works for you, this is a great product and what I use.

In my case, melatonin worked as well as any prescription product and boy, did I ever try them all, including exotic stuff. After a while, my doctor started prescribing me off-the-wall sleep medicines like Chloral Hydratestuff that regular pharmacies didn't even carry in stock and caused the pharmacist to give me weird looks.

Someone suggested Melatonin to me; I scoffed.

If six different prescriptions of the pharmaceutical industry's best wasn't doing the trick, could an off the shelf product really work? After doing some research and learning that Melatonin is actually a controlled substance in many countries, I figured there must be something 'credible' to it. As a weary American consumer who is quite sick and tired of fantastic claims made by various "over the counter" supplements that turn out to be nothing more than bald-faced lies, I am very cynical of most 'over the counter remedies'. Also worth nothing that personally speaking, I'm very low on the 'placebo responder' scale. If something doesn't have an involuntary effect on my body, my mind just isn't cut from the cloth that tries to convince itself something is happening. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, I'll know.

For me, Melatonin worked. I do take a rather large dose at 15mg, but I'm a rather large guy. Three pills 45 minutes before bed, I'm good to go.

It's worth doing research on this and understanding what it is. These pills are a synthetic hormone (ergo Melatonin's controlled status in many countries) that duplicate a natural hormone released by the brain during darkness, to precipitate sleep cycle onset.

The studies on Melatonin seem to go either way, but I'm a believer that there are few magic bullets. All people are different and may have similar problems caused by different biological issues. It's entirely possible that Melatonin may work for you as it did for me, but it may not work for your girlfriend, as it didn't for mine. That's why I suggest starting with a small bottle to see if this addresses an issue unique to your body.

I haven't noticed any negative side effects.

There is some drowsiness in the morning, but it's more of a 'deep sleep' drowsiness, rather than the intense, chemically induced drowsiness caused by the hard core pharmaceutical products. Also, I did notice that I developed a tolerance to it over time and have to scale off it for a month or so, to get another three or four months of effective treatment.

Overall, try it. If you find it works for you, you will classify it as a five star product too. I'm very happy I discovered this.

I have used other brands of melatonin with varying degrees of success. Since I have been using this product,the ease with which I fall asleep is significantly improved. If I awaken in the middle of the night, I am able to return to a deep and restful sleep this I have NEVER been able to do before, and therefore the quality of my sleep has been vastly improved. I am very happy to relate that the product works great. I had never been a big fan of sleeping pills; especailly ones potentially addictive ones. This was my third try with a melatonin product and I was pleasantly suprised that it actually worked. I sometimes have trouble sleeping and have tried different products over the years. I used to buy a melatonin product that didnt really work for me. for quite a while, I was using benadryl but learned that this was a bad idea because benadryl doesnt allow you to hit the third and fourth levels of sleep that are necessary for good long term health. I sometimes used tylenol sinus night time but learned that it can be very hard on the liver and knew that it wasnt a good longer term plan.

I do this nightly and I can't tell you how much relief I get not only in my jaw, but my cheeks, neck, shoulders, etc. I use them on my feet too on the meridians/ areas that correspond to the jaw/shoulder/neck/teeth. These areas happen to be on the top of the feet instead of the bottom. The patches always come off of my face/neck and the TOP of my feet completely black. If I put one on my arm overnight, it comes off clean/white. Based on that and my symptom relief, they work!

I have had many years of trying to fall asleep and stay sleeping with all the usual problems from noise especially from my partner SNORING like a freight train! I have tried every kind of earplug there is that has a high rating on Amazon. No, really. I have tried all of them! I spent $75 bucks buying every one of the top rated earplugs on Amazon and have tried them all out. MACKS PILLOW SOFT SILICONE EARPLUGS ARE THE BEST FOR SLEEPING WITH A SNORER PERIOD!

The best ones I found were Flents Ear Stopples SoftWax/Cotten; Howard Leight MAX; Ohropax; Bio Ears with Microban; and "World's Finest Natural Ear Plugs." None of them work as well or fit as well as MACKS. PERIOD. They have various kinds of problems among them such as letting in noise, not staying put, being too hard to conform to your ears, etc.

Yes, I know some people have commented that they can get dirty and feel a little sticky. Well they work better BECAUSE they are a little sticky so they stay in place and don't develop a gap during the night when you move your head and let the noise in. If you keep them in the container they came in instead of sitting them out then they won't pick up dust.

A close second would be the Worlds Finest Earplugs that are made out of essentially the same kind of material silicone. But they are not as pliable as MACKS and not quite as tacky so they start out good but then in the middle of the night they let in some noise around the edges.

I use Mack's earplugs pretty much all the time to deal with issues I have with noise. 12+ hours a day ( and in public places like shopping and libraries) would not be that unusual for me (I can just hear the comments now, heh!) With that much usage, there are a few points to let you have comfortable and long wearing experience.

1. The earplugs should be a cone shaped 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide at the top. They need to be wetted in order to insert well. A little water or spit does the job. When firmly seated, they will create a strong seal and noise just STOPS dead. If they slip out, they will not seal well and are pretty much useless to stop noise or water. About 2 days of use before I put them aside to get washed and grab another (used) pair.

2. The earplugs can be WASHED and reused many, many times. The best way to wash is to place in the washing machine with a few lint free cloths, low water setting, and a little detergent and bleach. They come out sticky like they were when new. Even old ones will yellow but work well, especially after they warm up and become softer in your ear. When they become too hard and dried out, throw them away.

3. The size they come in the package are TOO SMALL for me. I take about a 1/5 of one of the plugs and add it to the earplug WHEN I FIRST USE THEM. You can tell if they are too small if they are hard to remove from your ear. If they are too BIG, they will be uncomfortable when lying on them. The extra piece will pretty much stick in but has a tendency to start separating again after a couple dozen wearings. Be careful that you do not let the separate piece fall off in your ear. Never happened to me yet, but...

4. Mack's are GREAT for swimming. Inserted properly, they will keep water pretty much out. Never completely dry but really close.

5. Used with a white noise generator (Dohm-DS), the plugs will pretty much guarantee a goods nights sleep even with snoring, cars, or barking dogs.

6. Mack's work well for loud tool usage and I don't have to worry about bulky mufflers.

7. Works well in airplanes but be careful about altitude changes. Pull them out occasionally to let the pressure change. Nothing like flying without the noise of the engines or passengers.

These things have given me years of peace and quiet and sleep. I have plenty stashed away in case of the apocalypse. If you have any issue with noise, this is the way to handle it. It may take a few weeks of wearing in order to get used to them but its worth the time.

I've tried all types of earplugs for sleeping, and this is the only type that is comfortable enough for use all night. I find them extremely useful for getting a good night's sleep, and very comfortable.

They block out noise well enough not sure whether the noise reduction is as much as the strongest foam plugs, but at least it's close.

It's important to apply them as directed they need to stick to your outer ear. Ear wax, dirt, etc. can keep them from sticking properly; that's the main reason you need to discard them after a few uses. Don't insert them into the ear canal.

I have rosasea and am always reluctant to try new products. I am fairly certain these are not specifically designed to treat rosacea but if you have sensitive skin prone to redness don't let that stop you from trying these. I have chronic back pain that is made worse by irritable bowel syndrome IBS. Magnesium is calming to muscles and helps keep me relaxed. It keeps things moving along. This powder makes a huge fizz if you mix in warm water, but no fizz in cold water. The product is superb in terms that it doesn't have any unnatural man-made preservatives, dyes, sugar, HFCS, fructose, etc -all the bad stuff. As I spoke with the company's rep being concerned about red specks flowing in water, they told me it was dried beet pieces to add pinkish look to the water, and the water does become slightly pink. I take about 1 serving/day 300mg, sometimes 2. Magnesium helps regulate Calcium, calms your central nervous system, helps to fall asleep, and if you ever have a headache or tension in your neck ( I never do), try it for several days before loading up on Tylenol. Docs in delivery rooms sometimes give Magnesium sulfate IV, if a person is about to be eclampsic ( hypertensive over the board), and it calms CNS and decreases seizure accidents during pregnancy. Magnesium is much more imprtant than Calcium when supplementing for regular people on SAD diet (standard amer. diet) as they do not consume enough vegies, also consider vitamin K2 for bone health like osteoporosis. If K2 is too expensive, load up on green or alfalfa which is full of Vit K1. Vit K is also great for anti-cancer! The gist = eat your veggies and supplement.

First of all, I just want to note I bought these at drugstore.com and not amazon, so I'm not reviewing anything having to do with their service or this being a two pack or the price or anything like that.

Listen, this product is so good that I want to sit here and eat the bottle in one sitting, and I have issues with self control, so I'd almost not recommend this product based on that.

As far as the product's effectiveness goes, it's as effective as regular melatonin. I take it and within a half hour I'm ready to pass out, but it seems to stick with me a little longer so I'm not waking up at 3am which is awesome. Also, I experience some stomach trouble with melatonin tablets which is why I decided to try this product, and so far so good.

Also, I'm really glad this is vegan (which means my boyfriend can take them) and gluten and soy free (which is a must because I'm allergic to everything.)
