In other words, it has a 3.4 pound per cubic foot density. Not a 6.8pcf density like the name implies.

Nowhere in the description do they state what the 6.8 actually means. It is NOT the foam density in pounds per cubic foot like most other memory foam products use.

Edit: I am reducing my rating to 1-star. After just a few months this pad is noticeably degraded and less supportive. Not only was it squishier than the advertising implied to begin with, but it is already wearing out in less than six months. There is no nice way to say this: it's crap.

First off, we love this product!! My wife and I have needed a new mattress for a while but could not come to spending a large chunck of money for a new one when they normally only have 3 to 4 inches of memory foam on the new mattresses. I haven't slept this good for a long time. It has taken a little while to get use to the sinking in as the foam molds to your body. No problems now..... sleep right through the night!!!! I can not say enough about the customer service. I misunderstood part of the description of the topper(my fault), but customer service took care of everything right away and went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied!!! I will order from them again in a heart beat.

We had a little confusion with e mails after purchase, so better to call and make sure of things by phone. It took a little while to get used to this mattress topper, as it was not as firm as I thought it would be (although it is their most firm offering) The smell does take a while to leave the topper? but is not that bad, just there. I have had many back surgeries and do not sleep well, I can at least get some sleep when I use this unit. it is by far, way better than anything you will find at the local store as far as a topper goes. I would recommend this to anyone who has a hard time getting to sleep.

We purchased the 4" thick, cal-king sized 6.8 density memory foam mattress topper for camping. We have been camping for 30 years in a conventional cabin tent which is very roomy. Our old bed roll is made of standard cusion-type foam and it is very worn out. We used that with the memory foam on top. The memory foam rolled up easily and we secured it with quick release straps which made it transportable. I just put a standard cal-king bed sheet over it to keep it clean. Sooooo comfy! I have been making strides towards a more ecofriendly lifestyle for a while and have really been wanting to try castile soap. I have heard that it can wash anything that needs a mild touch and, being made from oils, won't dry your skin out. Well, I finally took the plunge and ordered some from Amazon. It arrived yesterday and I immediately took a shower with it. I was impressed beyond what I thought I'd be.

First off, let me start by saying I have hard water. I began my shower by putting my usual squirt on a washcloth, thinking it would probably require even more than chemically-based soaps and I would come back for more. Well, that was my first mistake. The lather that built on my washcloth was so thick and creamy, I actually had to pull some off, every so often, and throw it at my feet. The lather was unbelieveable, even past the hard water!

Next, I took a deep breath and decided to try to shampoo with it. It's a thin soap, so I was only able to put a quarter-sized puddle into my palm. Turns out, my palm is a good indicator. Three seconds after I started rubbing that small ration onto my head, I had a lather so thick that I could barely feel my hair.

As a shower gel and shampoo it's performs like a champ! A little goes a long way ... and I mean a very long way. My skin is soft and my hair is fluffy and every part of me smells like exotic almond oils.

Later on, I decided to take a bath since I was cold. I squirted some of this into the tub and discovered that they mean it when they say it has no foaming agents. No matter. My hopeful bubble bath turned into an almond-water soak. As a bath soak, it was even better than any beads or salts I had ever used. It was a calming scent, the water was soft and silky instead of my hind end rubbing against the undisolved crystals of other products, and my bathroom has a lingering aroma that even made spraying after a visit to the toilet unneeded.

All in all, as a bath and shower product, it will take you from scalp to toes and smell great. Next, I may try washing some of my clothing in it!

Great soap. I don't care for peppermint, which is Dr. Bronner's best-known soap. Their almond soap, however, is really impressive. It gets you clean, which is the most important part, rinses easily, all that basic soap stuff, and it has a wonderful, sophisticated fragrance that seems to go on and on, not a harsh or cheap smelling perfume.

I once used Bee & Flower Ginseng soap, and this Dr. Bronner's almond soap reminds me of it as far as sharing an exotic, sophisticated scent. Dr. Bronner's soap will actually CLEAN you as well as smell nice.

Very highly recommended. Every single guy ought to know about this soap. I'd never wear cologne but the extremely subtle scent left by this soap could practically come with a must-get-laid guarantee.

Wonderful stuff. Wouldn't want to live without it. Soap is basic and personal and Dr. Bronner's almond soap is a suave choice. I absolutely love it.

This almond and hemp soap from Dr. Bronner's is truly amazing! It has none of the harmful ingredients found in many commercial soaps, like sodium laryl sulfate, etc. It's pure and smells absolutely fabulous. The scent is very natural and authentic too, not perfume-like. One thing you should be aware of is that it doesn't foam up a lot because it has no chemical foaming agents; this, however, is fine by me. I just use a little bit more, or clean up without the foam.

I like that it has natural oils in it as well so that it's not drying. I use it solely as a bath soap, but apparently all of the Dr. Bronner's Soaps can be used for everything from body care to household cleaning. I love this soap and find it gentle enough to even use on my face, yet it does clean thoroughly. I love how it makes shaving my legs easy as well, because of the oils.

It leaves little to no residue. I have read that it can be used to brush your teeth, do the dishes, and bathe your pets! The only thing I have found that it doesn't work too well for is as a shampoo, but I have color-treated hair, and it seems to leave it dry. If you have natural healthy hair, you can probably use it for shampoo as well.

I am hooked, and plan to use Dr. Bronner's exclusively from now on as a mainstay in my home. I've been looking for a natural and versatile product like this for years.

SUN LABORATORIES Self Tanning Lotion Tan Overnight - Medium (8 oz)

This product is awesome!! I have fair skin and every self tanning lotion/spray I've tried always makes me look orange. I promise you this one doesn't. The flip side is it's not going to make you look brown or super tan though either, so don't expect that. What it DOES do is give you a little color and a really nice glow, especially on your face. It also evens out your skin tone on your face too.

Any downsides/negatives?

The only one I can think of is it's harder to wash off your hands if you don't wash it off immediately after applying it.

Looks very natural, NOT orange. Just be careful what you do after you put it on. If you get the change to rinse it off, do it. I didn't, and when i sweated on my white shirt it left some spots, but it didn't stain. Also it's pretty thick, and I don't want a very dramatic tan difference, so i appled it over lotion to help it go on smoother and thinner. Worked out great!

Drawbacks: 1) Scent alert! If you cannot walk down the detergent aisle at the supermarket or through the perfume section in a department store without getting a headache, beware. 2) Removes make-up at upper surface level. Not good for deep cleaning. 3) The price: before shipping, we're looking at a lot for a supply of towelettes that will barely last a month. Not sure if this is safe around eyes, so I also purchased the other version that specifies it is okay to use around eyes, which doubles the cost per use.

Dreamate Sleep Aid

I have been using this consistently for about 2 months now and I really like it. I cant tell you for sure that it actually helps me sleep better, but I can say that it does relax you. I find that if you combine it with some meditating/conscious breathing it works best. I think its a good buy if you have some extra cash.

The exfoliation facial cleanser is very gentle. My face feels moisturized just from using that product. Believe me, I forget lotion a lot and my face still felt smooth and not dry from just the cleanser.

I have recommended this product to some co-workers and was able to tell within 3-4 days when they started using this product without even asking. Very Sun damaged skin on one of my co-workers was immediately better. She absolutely loves them as well.

If you have Oily skin, they have Yes to Tomatoes, and for normal skin, they have Yes to Cucumbers.

I will be a user of all of the Yes to Carrots for the rest of my life.

Nature Made Liquid Softgel Sleep Natural Sleep Aid

I've had an Ambien prescription for a year or so now, but lately it has been effective at initially knocking me out for the night but still has me waking up about 1am unable to get back to sleep. Not good. After fighting it for a month I got a recommendation to look at a couple of the OTC offerings. A friend mentioned Alteril, but in looking into the main ingredient on that I was uncomfortable with some of the potential side effects. When I visited my local store to look at the Alteril I found the Nature Made "Sleep" on the shelf next to it and checked out some of the reviews.

The reviews were mixed some people swearing by it, others saying it was completely ineffective. My own experience was this the first night I took it I DID notice a calming, sedating effect, but while it also initially knocked me out I still woke up about 1am and was unable to get a restful night's sleep. But I was still obviously calmer and felt like I needed to get back to sleep just couldn't.

Having read lots of reviews where people said "stick with it it can take a few doses over a few days" to work, I tried again the next day. And that was apparently the ticket. I woke the next morning with the first restful night's sleep I'd had in over a month. Didn't feel even slightly groggy, like happens with a lot of the benadryl-like OTC sleep meds. Just rested really rested for the first time in ages.

I've shoved my Ambien in a drawer and now use this exclusively when I need to sleep or am having enough going on that it's hard to quiet my thoughts at night and get a good sleep. I highly recommend this, but you may need to give it a few nights for it to kick in effectively. I don't know why that is it just is. I like having a natural alternative without worrying about either side effects or dependence.

(UPDATE a few months later): After about a month or so I found Sleep not working as well as it did initially. I looked a little harder at the ingredients and discovered the Melatonin portion of this sleep gel is VERY slight only 1.5 mg. I supplemented the Melatonin (up to 10 mg for me, though of course effective addition will vary person to person) and now several months later that still seems to be doing the trick.

I did read someone online who suggested the two main ingredients, Melatonin and L-Theanine, could be obtained more cheaply by buying them separately. At least for me I have NOT found that to be true, particularly in the case of the l-theanine I found it difficult to locate and expensive a 30 day supply cost more than the Nature Made Sleep did. I also want to add that the L-Theanine has been a remarkable, surprising PLUS to this formula. Research it online, but it's basically an OTC anti-anxiety med, which for someone like me whose sleep troubles are largely caused by an inability to "turn off my head" at night, it's been a godsend. I was very surprised at how effective the Theanine has been at turning that off.

My sleeping schedule was all messed up after winter break. Staying up until 3 or 5 am easy! then it came time for school and of course i couldn't sleep or I would lay down and stay awake for hrs, but still unable to close my eyes. Finally i went to my local CVS and asked where the sleep aids were and she pointed me in that direction. i had no prior knowledge of sleeping aids, but i was attracted to the nice looking box and the straight up "SLEEP" printed on the box and i was thinking "yeah that's exactly what i need!" So i bought it even though it was about $4 more than the other products. That night i took 1 pill at around 9pm and was feeling ready for bed for around 10:10pm "I don't know why i was doing it, but i was kinda trying to fight the effect as long as i could" And to my surprise the next morning, i was ready to get up!, i walked to my phone and was expecting for it to be around 12pm to 4pm, "my usual wake up time" and it was 7am, "I was like whoa it worked!! Ha! What do ya know!" The Dreams i had from it were kind of weird. it felt like dream, inside a dream, inside of another dream! It's like my mind realized I was dreaming, so in an effort to wake up, it ended me up in another dream??? idk weird i know but Hey it worked.... Thumbs up on this one i Liked it =)

I was taking this product with Ambien and together they worked very well for me. Ambien alone definitely knocks me out but then I guess it wears off while I'm sleeping because I would still wake up almost every night between 4 and 4:30am. In the past i have had insomnia due to the fact that i cant shut my brain off, when the lights go off, the virtual to do list starts up and last for hours! However I never took any sleep aid because everything i had tried, the regular Tylenol pm etc. and "good nite sleep" pills would make me drowsy well into the next day.

Check with your doctor on just how much you can take at once if the recommened dose doesn't work. I have been using these for about 2 years (?) I get 5-8 hours of good sleep, wake refreshed, and am not groggy during the day. I have tried all the other top sellers, and this is the only one that made a difference.

Also, just FYI, if you have stomache pains taking this, which I haven't but I am sensitive to l-Tryptophan in other products, you can take digestive enxymes to stop it. Fighting insomnia for 25 years has made me try and learn everything.

This is worth a shot for anyone like me... take it before you go to bed, and hit the bed as soon as you start to feel a tad sleepy (takes about an hour for me). This product is a great deal in terms of how much you get and how long it will last. I put it in small squeeze bottles. I first learned about this oil on the electroherbalism group at yahoo. It's applied in many maladies, especially those requiring extra magnesium intake. It turns out that applying this oil externally even in small quantities is absorbed 10X more efficiently than taking oral supplements.

A little goes a long way. The recommendation is a few sprays here and there, but I just pour about 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon in my hand, rub it into my hands and slather it on.

Takes only a few minutes to absorb into the skin, but make sure you have no skin breaks or it will feel like rubbing salt into your wounds. MgCl is a salt, so you would be rubbing salt into your wounds. Be Careful! Even if you do, it washes off easily.

I've been using this oil for a month and I could'nt be more impressed. So I thought I'd pass along some helpful info. I have sensitive, dry skin and my basic rule is: If you can't eat it don't put it on your skin. One exeption is Dr. Bronners hemp oil soaps this oil is another. At $90 a gallon I'm not about to rinse this off, it stays on until I shower. In fact I apply it right after, before my skin is fully dry. If your like me it will sting on some areas, esspecially under arms. I can't use chemical deodorants only baking soda which also stings. This oil works great as a deodorant but can cause some redness and/or irritation...I've found that aloe is 100% effective for immediate relief, (I have aloe plants) not sure about aloe gel. When used together my skin absorbs the oil more completely. I also use coconut oil on areas exposed to sunlight, the back of my neck for instance. The mag. oil alone makes that area sensitive to sunlight, add the coconut oil and it's like suntan lotion, this may be problematic for those with longer hair. For maximum absorbtion apply the mag. oil to hands feet and inner arms. I feel almost no stinging or itching when applied there. Even better soak or bathe in Epsom salts then apply the mag. oil. I've found that simply by massaging with this oil that my hands prune twice as fast and stay pruned twice as long. This indicates that the imbedded calcium (as described in reviews here) is being dissolved and the tissue is becoming saturated with magnesium. My hands are pain free and playing guitar and keyboards has never been more comfortable. Musicians and atheletes really need to check this stuff out. Apply one squirt to the back of your hands before and after playing. If you have soreness anywhere apply small amounts all day and night and occasionally take a day off and/or cycle i.e. left side one day right side the next, upper body lower body etc. Your body will absorb more readily as it becomes saturated. Remember this: magnesium goes where magnesium is. Start slow, increase use, then break for a day. I gave my nephew a spray bottle to treat an infected toe, in one week he's seen more improvment than months of antibiotic use. I also gave him calcium bentonite clay and bee propolis for anyone interested. No I'm not a doctor I'm better I'm a healer, I have'nt been to a doctor in 30 years. I don't know anyone that's been healed by a MD, I know many people that have been damaged or killed by MDs. Do yourself a favor and order this oil it will help you take charge of your health. Also try liquid mag. squirt it directly under your tounge wait a few minutes then drink several ounces of water, esspecially if you have migraines or nerve issues. Again increase slowly up to five times a day then break for up to a week then repeat. Helpful foods: celery, cucumber, (ceylon) cinnamin, coconut oil, flax seed/oil, raw almonds, raw honey. Limit sugar and dairy and think positive thoughts.

Wow! Saw a competotor's ad about how great this product was for FIBRO. Terribly expensive though; they warn don't use any other products ours is pure. This product comes from the same place. I'm talking about Derma-Mag their 32 oz is 58.00. Anyway received it very quickly one day ahead of schedule. My 83 Mother has had shingles since before thxgiving, making this lively little lady almost a shut in. Most pain medicine works mediocre, the shingles go from the inside of her right hip to just below her knee, well the neurotherapy does.

Porcelana Night Skin Lightening Cream Facial Night Treatments

For three months, I consistently applied Porcelana's nighttime formula before bed and applied Porcelana's daytime formula, with the additional important ingredient of sunscreen, in the morning. Using both formulas, one jar of each lasted me exactly three months. Overall, I am very pleased with the final results. Most of my smaller age spots have faded or are gone but I do have darker spots that persist. They will require the use of a prescription strength formula of Hydroquinone or laser treatments but due to the overall reduction that has occurred, I know those possible next steps will be less extensive.

A doctor recommended hydroquinone for my melasma--hormonal darkening usually caused by pregnancy, but mine just never went away after my kids were born. So I got a lot of scars from acne and I've tried everything to get rid of them or atleast lighten them. I was getting really impatient and fed up and did a little research before buying anything. This product came up and I usually like to know what ingredients are in the product to see if I have already tried another product with similar ingredients that has failed on me previously. When I looked up the ingredients for porcelana it had an ingredient called hydroquinone. So I did further research into it and there is some controversy about this specific ingredient and some type of cancer inducing effects. But a higher risk is correlated to higher percentage, and porcelana has 2% hydroquinone (which isn't bad compared to other prescribed products). I think 2% is perfect because I tried something with 4% and it really irritated my skin-the only issue is that you have to be patient because it really does take 2 weeks for you to see dramatic results, although you will see some progress a week later-but really...2 weeks is not that bad and it actually gets a lot better as time progresses and it helps with future dark spots-so if you really do want your dark spots to fade PLEASE get this product and BE PATIENT!!!!!! Another thing I noticed (I'm not sure if its correlated to me using the product or coincidence) but my acne did stop-it was weird. And if I did get a pimple or something the scars that come from that acne were little or it didn't scar at all. But now back to the ingredient hydroquinone, I talked to my dermatologist and she said that it really isn't that dangerous to a person's health but she recommends to only be exposed to it for 3 months. If you don't see anything after a month or two than the product is obviously not working and there is no need to expose yourself to more hyrodoquinone. The only bad thing is that the product is a bit greasy and sticky-but honestly, I don't really care. It does what needs to be done but its not a product you can really wear under makeup.

The mechanism behind hydroquinone:

it's very complicated to explain but i'm going to try to simplify it as much as I can

The type and amount of melanin synthesized by the melanocyte and its distribution pattern in the epidermis determines the actual color of the skin-different processes will cause de-pigmentation

so hydroquinone

1. one of the most effective inhibitors of melanogenesis (production of melanin-which too much in certain cells is the reason for discoloration)

2. cytotoxic to melanocytes (melanin-producing cells). This means it kills these types of cells. It is not limited to killing these cells it can kill normal cells but the amount that is needed (so the threshold) of hydroquinone for normal cells is a lot higher than the threshold of melanocytes

I've used this product for coming up on 3 years now. I wash these every couple of days in warm water with mild hand soap. They last a long, long, long time. I have never worn one out and in fact, am still using only the second one I purchase in that period. The first one for some reason, I bit through it in my sleep when I first started using my CPAP machine. That was my fault and not the product. I highly recommend these. If you're REALLY lucky you can find these at Dollar stores. IF not zippered, some creative Velcro-ing will work...a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do to stay at the top of her game, LOL!

PS All my sets purchased here had well sewn seams and no problems.

I am so loving these pillowcases. My hair which is curly, no longer flops all over and I awaken to gorgeous locks! Okay, that's a bit extreme, but, these pillowcases are good quality and the price is great too. I would say though, to hand wash these as to keep their shape. Overall, I am glad I bought them.
