Johnson's Baby Bath Bedtime, 28 Ounce (Pack of 2)

Johnson's Baby Bath Bedtime, 28 OunceThis really does help your baby sleep because lavendar is a soothing aroma and encourages a calmer baby! I won't use anything else.

This large bottle lasts about a month with one baby to bathe. Smells great. Doesn't leave a residue, doesn't bother her eyes. The bubbles could last a little longer and I kinda wish it had more moisturizers built in. Great product, though!

Initially, I received a sample size of this baby wash when purchasing a different Johnson & Johnson product and was immediately HOOKED once I tried it. The lavendar smell is nothing short of amazing, it lathers extremely well and it isn't too harsh for my 4-month old's delicate skin. It is a little perfumey but my little one doesn't seem to mind and with Johnson & Johnson's no more tears formula, I have no worries about him splashing the tub water into his eyes. As for the product's calming effects, I do notice that my little one splashes a lot less when he's bathed with this so it's fair to say it's at least somewhat relaxing. My baby has been a good sleeper since birth and he continues to sleep well when bathed with this so it's a KEEPER!

Queen Helene Batherapy Natural Mineral Bath, Lavender , 5 lb (2.27 kg) (Pack of 2)

Queen Helene Batherapy Natural Mineral Bath, Lavender , 5 lbDon't know how it works, but it does. I'm 52 and I work very hard quite often, and end the day very tired. When I'm really worn out I'll soak in a tub with this stuff and it is like taking a handful of aspirin, only better. It really does soak away aches and pains, way better than just a tub or hot water. I highly recommend it.

Updated review!

These bath salts have a lot of good things going for them--they are inexpensive, come in large quantities, and maker your bath feel great. We use them in a jetted tub, and they actually foam somewhat. We don't use bubble bath because when it foams, it goes overboard, but this product makes a nice controlled foam and is really quite pleasant. It turns the "texture" of the water silky smooth, and it feels great when soaking in it. At first, I didn't personally love the scent--it didn't smell like real lavender to me, although it has lavender oil listed amongst the ingredients. I know that lavender oil actually comes in a variety of related scents depending on how it was obtained. Perhaps the oil the Queen Helene folks use is just not obtained the way I prefer. Anyway, my wife likes it, she thinks it smells great. AFter using it several nights I have actually become a fan, and we will order more of this. I still like to add a dash of lavendar from a different bath salt to change the scent a bit, but I think that it is really quite nice now.

North American Healthcare JB5651 Cpap Hose Holder

North American Healthcare JB5651 Cpap Hose HolderThis is a sturdy, heavier weight unit I use as home as opposed to a lighter weight unit I use when I travel. It takes all loads imposed on it and works well. makes sleeping with a CPAP mask much easier, allowing more movement of the head. I use it against the headboard rather than as shown on the side of the bed to make it easier to get in and out of bed, and easier to make the bed.

I had a number of hose-related problems using my CPAP. If the hose ran down over my chest, soon the bulk of the hose would fall over the side of the bed. That would increase the pressure on one side of the mask (the side the hose was pulling on), making a leak more likely. If I placed the hose so it was to my right (in the center between me and my wife), during the night it would eventually shift, and the bulk of the hose would fall to the left side of the bed. Again, that would increase the pressure on one side of the mask and the mask would often leak.

One solution I developed was to position the hose on my pillow, above the top of my head, and run it down along the right side of my head. That delayed the hose falling to the side of the bed but did not always prevent it. In addition, the ridges on the hose would sometimes catch on the edge of the bedframe, and then when I tried to turn, the hose would not move, pulling the mask loose and interrupting my sleep.

I had the idea that somehow I needed to get the hose suspended above me, but I never pursued figuring out how to accomplish that. Then I saw this product, a hose holder. Just what I needed! Or was it? The only way I was going to find out was to try it out.

So having ordered the product and having used it for two months now, I can report that it works great. My sleep is less interrupted by the hose pulling on the mask (or on me). There is no question that it is well worth the money to me.

The product is cleverly designed. It is a series of slim tubes, and the each tube nests in the rim of the one below. There is an a elastic cord running through the center of the tubes that keeps the tubes nested in place. The top piece swivels easily, and the hose can slip through the eye at the top. If you want, you can separate the tubes and fit them into the pouch that is provided, which allows you to pack it in a suitcase. (The elastic cord does not come off so the tubes will stay connected to each other by the cord even when not nested.) At first, I thought, OK, this is fine for home use, but I'm not going to travel with it. What with the CPAP machine, I've got enough stuff to lug with me. But now that I've used it for two months, I am reconsidering. I may just travel with it.

At first, I thought that it would be a problem making the bed with the hose holder in place, but it has not been an issue.

I agree with Bluesman that the picture makes the diameter of the tubes look bigger than they are, but otherwise, I think his review does the product a disservice. Perhaps he got a defective item. While not what I would call robust in construction, it is certainly sufficiently sturdy to do its job, and in two months of use, I have seen no evidence that it won't last years. The cost/benefit ratio here is such that if this product broke in a year, I would have no complaint. I'd just buy a new one.

This CPAP hose stand is ok, it is not heavy duty but it does the job. It would be great for travel since it is light weight, and can be taken apart and easily put back together. It also comes with a small travel bag so it can be stored with your CPAP machine for easy travel.

Read Best Reviews of North American Healthcare JB5651 Cpap Hose Holder Here

I'm not quite sure what Bluesman is referring to in his one-star review. Perhaps he was shipped a different product. While this stand is not what I would call "heavy duty" it is more than adequate for the job at hand. I change sides two or three times a night, and this unit has no problem staying in place and holding the hose in the proper place. The top does swivel a bit, which is a good thing, as it adjusts to your movement and you the mask doesn't get pulled from your face.

During the day, I hang my mask (a light nasal pillow model) from the pole as well. I see no sign it can't handle that bit of extra weight. It might be a tad overpriced (there might be $1-$2 in materials at the most in this thing) but there aren't that many alternatives, from what I have seen. All-in-all I'm happy with it.

UPDATE, 3/19/2013. Over two years later this CPAP hose holder is still going strong. It gets used EVERY night and has even traveled with me. I have a new bed and mattress and now have moved it to a different position, in the middle of the mattress between the headboard and the mattress. It isn't perfect. When you need to make an adjustment, the segments can come apart and that can be a bit of a pain to straighten out. But since I rarely need to adjust it, once it is in place it seems to stay put just fine. Given how flimsy some think it is, I wonder how it has lasted so long?

UPDATE 3/30/2013 RIP. The foot of the stand broke last night. It was propped rather precariously underneath a heavy memory foam mattress directly on a slatted platform bed, and I tried to adjust it without lifting the mattress. So, I think this was my fault. I think it gave me great service for the two+ years I have owned it. Given my new bed setup I may order a different product, but if I don't find something else quick, I will have no concerns about ordering this product again.

Want North American Healthcare JB5651 Cpap Hose Holder Discount?

This is a handy product. It is a collapsible structure (perfect for travel or home) and doesn't require any assembly. You just straighten it out and then slide the flat base between your mattress and box spring, resulting in an erect, slim, pole-like structure with a loop at the top in which you can string your CPAP hose. Given the set-up of my bedroom, it was best for me to have it at the head of my bed between the bed and the wall (I do not have a headboard). I haven't had it for that long but it stands there and holds the hose as it should and it's such a straight-forward structure that I have no reason to think it wont do it's job for months/years to come. If you have a headboard and have to stick it between the mattress at the side of the bed, maybe it would move more if you bumped into it (or just because it doesn't have the wall as a fall-back support given that you may tug as you change positions during sleep), but its simple enough where you really can just tuck it in the base at night and put it away during the day. For me, its much better than having the annoying hose hanging down the side of the bed all night and pulling on my face apparatus. I give it 4 stars, which means that I recommend it and think it works perfectly fine. One star because it is a bit flimsy in a way but, like I said, that's good when you think about travel or moving during the day.

Unisom SleepMelts

Unisom SleepMelts Nighttime Sleep Aid-24, countI've always had trouble sleeping at night. Unisom Sleep Melts are wonderful. I tried them and, sure enough, I found myself very quickly, and very gently, falling into a deep sleep that lasted until I woke up the next morning. I experienced absolutely no grogginess or headache upon waking up. This is an excellent product for insomniacs like me. Plus it's safe and effective. I've tried LOTS of different OTC sleeping aids over the years. Unisom Sleep Melts is, by far, the best one out there.

This product is wonderful! I take two sleepmelts just about an hour or so before sleep. By the time I go to bed, I don't even remember laying down. I am asleep very quickly. I can sleep well and feel well rested. I also noticed that there is no groggy feeling the next day as with some other products. Great job Unisom!!!! A person that doesn't sleep well doesn't feel well either. Thank you!!!!

I sometimes have a hard time getting in the "zone" for sleep and so I keep these on the nightstand. I only use 1 and if I read for about a half hour after taking it I usually will start to feel tired and able to fall asleep. I don't like taking sleep medswould never take lunesta or any of those other serious sleep remediesso I'm happy to have this to use.

Knocks me out pretty fast, just one drop of the recommended two is potent enough...however, I noticed that I tend to oversleep after taking unisom and I end up being groggy and tired throughout the day. ): It served it's intended purpose very well, but I dislike the exhaustion that follows the next morning. I guess sleeping pills affect people differently.

As sleep masks go and I have been through my fair share this is a great mask! Aside from being aesthetically appealing, this sleep mask is comfortable. The adjustable bands allow me to choose the perfect fit for my head. The foam inserts attached around the nose block light that used to sneak in with my old masks, but still allows for comfort. It is made of lightweight fabrics that are cozy, but don't produce too much heat in the warm Florida climate. I haven't tried the cooling mask that accompanies it, but I imagine it has superior function as well. I highly recommend this mask!

I've bought this mask by coincidence and I must say: it's awesome! Good quality, soft, pleasant and 100% light blocking. Meanwhile I use it every night and I have to admit I'm much more rested in the morning since then. Also great for a nap and travelling. The idea with the coolpack is very tricky!

Bucky Shades Sleep Mask With Earplugs

Bucky Shades Sleep Mask With Earplugs, Midnight, One SizeI've owned two pair of these Bucky eyeshades over 15 years. They are comfortable and VERY effective, both at home and in an airplane. I keep one in my bedstand for the occasional weekend day when I get to sleep in a little and the other in my travel carry-on bag for flights.

The only downside is that after several years, the elastic in the bands begins to wear out, then they don't seal as well against your face to keep light out. Because the elastic is shot, I'm about to buy my third pair. (at this price, it's too bad that the elastic isn't easily replaceable, since the front part of the shades is still fine)

For years I relied on free eye masks handed out by airlines, then I bought various fancy ones from spas and health food stores. None of them worked as well as this Bucky. I resisted the price ($25) at first, but now find that it is worth every penny. Buy the Bucky that has a tiny pocket for earplugs it comes with earplugs that are strung together so you won't lose them. As a frequent flyer who takes red eye flights, this is utterly indispensable.

A friend (who knew I liked a good eyeshade for sleeping) bought me some of these from the States. They are THE most comfortable, blackout shades I have ever used. What more can I say? I am a Bucky eyeshade junkie about to buy a backup set (cause I can't sleep right without them). Did I mention they were comfortable?

I had a Buckeye shade that I bought 8 years ago to use while I was flying back & forth across the Atlantic. Recently, in the apartment I rent -the owners pulled down the old vertical blinds which did a pretty good job of blacking out the sun and replaced them with cheap ones that did nothing.

This was a problem because my bedroom, which has wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows with no break for 75 feet, faces due east on the 30th floor of the only high-rise in that direction. In the late spring and summer the sun rises to shine directly into my expansive window waking me up before 6:00 AM every morning -though I don't get to bed before midnight. Because of the particular window system, it was not possible to install blackout shades or curtains (which would have cost $1500 if it were possible.)

Desperate, I looked for my Buckeyes hoping they would help but couldn't find them. Even more desperate, I discovered that Amazon sold them -but Amazon sold others that were more highly rated by a larger number of people: Lewis n' Clark Comfort Eye and Sweet Dreams Contoured Sleep Mask. Since the latter two were really cheap, I bought both along with the expensive Buckeyes.

The Sweet Dreams did not have the cushion below the eyes to block at light and so were worthless. I do not see how they get so highly rated!?! The Lewis N Clark do have that cushion but are not well-enough constructed to let your eyes move uninterrupted which is critical for deep sleep -getting your REM (rapid eye movement.) But I have very long eyelashes and that is part of the problem. Plus it slid off during the night.

But the Buck Eye Shades worked like a charm, It took a few nights to figure out how to fit it on my head properly (pulling down the cushion below my eyes to stay there -and the right tightness and placement of the band around the back of my head) -but it blocked out the sun completely, left plenty of space under the mask for my eyes and eyelashes (which are quite long) to remain untouched -and it did not come off my head -even though I am a stomach sleeper and move around a lot at night.

So don't waste your money on the others -even though they are a lot cheaper -they just don't work or work as well.

If the Buck Eye worked in my circumstances, they will work in anyone's.

So get the Buckeyes -they are worth every penny. Your sleep quality and quantity is the single most important thing you can do for your health.

On the other hand, the Sweet Dreams mask is very silky & sexy and a really good item if you're into those kinds of experiences ;-) I would buy it for that :-)

Update: I just bought 2 more of the Bucky Eye Shades -a back-up for me (for when I can't find one) and one for my partner -though he likes the Sweet Dreams too.

Want Bucky Shades Sleep Mask With Earplugs Discount?

The Bucky eye pillow has the best 'black-out' out of all the eye pillows I've tried, because of the built in pillow on the bottom, inside (which the picture doesn't show). And they are machine washable (some brands actually aren't).

Power Mobility Odyssey LX 4 Wheel Full Size Scooter Size: 22" seat

Power Mobility Odyssey LX 4 Wheel Full Size Scooter Size: 22' seatPro: Looks great, runs smooth and quiet, lots of comfort and power.

Con: No assembly info

Overall: I am very pleased.

REVISION: Overall I am still pleased except my scooter came with defective batteries or something wrong with the power supply. My old scooter, a heavy duty Titan, would go around the block three times with power to spare. It began to look a little ragged after ten years of hard use and abuse so, I gave it away and purchased the LX 4. My new scooter, which I use to walk my dog as I did with the old Titan, will only go around the block one time and then my wife has to push me the last 100 meters. I believe that I will have to buy two new batteries which realy jerks my string. I am afraid to take this thing to church for fear it will lock up the brakes as I ride from the alter area to the back of the sanctuary. I charge the batterys every night so I start my journeys with a full charge.

Zeo Mobile Sleep Manager

Zeo Mobile Sleep ManagerLet me start by telling you that I am a Zeo fan. The bedside unit has been with me for a couple of years now and has helped me understand and improve the way I sleep. Zeo (the company) is a pioneer in the emerging field of self-quantification (or lifestyle measurement). The bedside device helped me understand what was going on with my sleep pattern. Being able to compare the data with other people my age gave me a kind of perspective I couldn't get elsewhere.

I travel heavily. The problem with a bulky bedside unit is that you can't really take it with you on a long series of hotel nights. So, I was only able to get a partial look at the realities of the ways that I sleep.

I got very excited when the new more portable unit came out. The iPhone integration is the exact right idea.

Unfortunately, the software isn't ready for prime time yet.

It's taken more than a week to get to the point that I am hoping to have the system operating properly tonight. The data integration problems mentioned elsewhere really slowed my transition from the old version to the new. I simply couldn't get the iPad to run the software effectively (there is a data display bug that interferes with use when you view data in the landscape mode)

So, I added plugs to my nightstand and started to run the iPhone version.

Night 1, it collected the data but saved the date improperly (reporting as September 16 instead of November 10)

Night 2, it completely lost the data from that night's sleep

Night 3, solid data collection, operating properly, right date

Night 4, stopped collecting data after I got up and went to get a glass of water in the middle of the night.

Then, there's the question of using multiple devices on one account. I think I'd like to use the bedside version most of the time at home and the portable version on the road. Given the complexities of data integration already, I'm doubtful that there's going to be a quick solution for this.

My ideal system will take inputs from multiple devices online and integrate with offline data storage. Heck, I can't even find the topic in the FAQs.

So, hold off on this one. It's a good idea but they need to finish testing the software.

================

Dec 10 2011

There's more.

The very friendly folks at ZEO gave me amazing customer service over the course of several weeks as they tried to make my product work. Unfortunately, the failures kept happening.

While I was very flattered by the treatment I received, there were so many operating issues that I started to feel like an employee of the company. Ultimately I asked for and received a refund.

Compare this to my experience with the Jawbone UP Band (which measures sleep and daily physical activity). When it became apparent that there were quality issues with the product, Jawbone immediately announced a No Questions Asked Money Back Offer that included a refund and a new device. In addition, there was no requirement that you return the device. Friendly customer service os one thing. You simply filled out the online form.

Taking full responsibility for product success is the gold standard.

If you want to become a member of a beta test team, buy the ZEO device. Otherwise, wait until they've got it right.

Again, I really like the people at ZEO and am a big fan of their other product. They never shied away from addressing my issues and gave great customer service. I just wanted a product that worked.

First off, I am very interested in sleep and brain waves. I have done a lot of research in both over the years, and experimented with brain wave synchronization, and alternative sleep patterns. When I first heard about Zeo over two years ago, I was so excited to be able to measure my brainwaves that I immediately ordered one of their Zeo Bedside Sleep Managers (known as the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach at the time) and even added on the guided coaching option for an extra hundred dollars. Since I found Zeo so early in the company's lifecycle, I always felt close to the company, have been a big fan, and I liked the overall feel of the device and the website. However, the first Zeo was behind the times in that it used an SD card to get data from the device to the internet. (While I had been using an alarm clock with a web interface for years before this, it seemed like they could have added wireless or Ethernet to the device costing three hundred and fifty dollars) Anyway, the problem with the bedside Zeo was not being able to see your data on the site without first going through the pain of taking the SD card out, putting it in your computer going to the website selecting the file, uploading it, then trying to remember to take the SD card back to the Zeo before the next night. The Zeo basically became a very expensive alarm clock, after time, I would no longer upload data, which meant there was no reason to analyze the data, which meant I could stop wearing that headband. I suggested several times to Zeo that they need to have an automated way to get the data uploaded.

Enter the Zeo Mobile, when I first heard about this I had to go out and buy it. Plus it was a third of the cost of the original Zeo. I already used an iPod next to my bed to listen to some brain sync music while drifting off. It would be a bonus if my data was getting uploaded each night then I could finally analyze my sleep data and get better sleep. I did see a few complaints about the Zeo on Amazon's Reviews, but I figured I had a Zeo Bedside, and it worked OK besides the design flaw; there was no way the Zeo Mobile could be THAT bad...

I anxiously awaited the package in the mail. My first night with the Zeo Mobile, I got the headband paired up with my iPod via Bluetooth and went to sleep upon waking I clicked stop on the app and it crashed. My data did not get uploaded... I also had to fiddle with the headband for over a minute to get it to sit on the base correctly to charge. The next night, I had to go through the whole exercise of pairing the iPod to the headband via Bluetooth again. The next morning it crashed again. Fiddle with headband to get it to charge. Two days of data not uploaded to the website, I was beginning to think the other Amazon reviews were right. The third night it worked and actually uploaded all three nights of data... OK, things are getting better maybe it is not so bad.

I had a backup alarm set, just in case, so hadn't realized the alarm was not going off each morning until the weekend when it did go off, but wasn't supposed to. This continued the alarm would go off on days it wasn't supposed to, and occasionally would go off on days it was supposed to.

About twice a week the headband lost connectivity with the iPod, and had to be re-paired. This was a pain as you find this out when you are just about to sleep. And have to fiddle with the pairing, and the blue light on top of the headband blinks very brightly waking up those around you. After complaining to Zeo customer support about this they mentioned a firmware upgrade for the headband, I updated that and I had no more issues with the Bluetooth connection dropping.

However after upgrading the firmware, the iOS app seemed to increase the frequency it crashed. I went a whole week with the app crashing every night while I was asleep. When the app crashed during the night the data was not captured and I had no data from that night. These crashes were around an hour after I went to sleep. Customer support said to uninstall and reinstall the app. This did not help, I tried pairing the headband to my iPhone instead of my iPod and got 4 hours of data before the app crashed that night. Each of these nights I would not have been awoken if I had not had a backup alarm set.

After time, it realized while fiddling with the headband in the morning to get it to snap into the charging base correctly was due to the forehead pads being a bit too thick. Squeezing the top of the band would allow it to charge, but letting go made it shift so it did not charge. The bottom of the band needed to come out a bit more. I switched headband straps with the one I used on my bedside Zeo which had 2 years of use, and it seemed to pop into place most of the time.

Zeo customer support recommended closing all other apps before going to sleep to stop the Zeo app from crashing. The app still crashed for me. All the clicking on the iPod each night was annoying. Plus there were screens in the iOS app that listed instructions that you had to click through each night; it would have been good to show these for the first few days rather than every night. In all I must have had to click 20 or more things each night before going to sleep. My iPod was really only used next to my bed, if you used your iPhone you would have much more clicking to do to close all the other apps. This was a lot of things to do when you want to hop into bed. Compared to the Zeo bedside, going to bed was easy. You just take the headband off the base and put it on. In the morning you take it off and put it on the stand. (I never had the bedside headband not snap correctly into place, either)

Zeo's customer support responded fairly quickly to my questions, and I had a lot of them. They did have a solution to the Bluetooth problem. However, despite their best efforts, I have not really gotten help in resolving the other many issues with the Zeo. So it is with regret that I have to send this device back to Amazon. I feel as though a good friend let me down. I plan to use the Zeo Bedside for a while, but I am sure that after some time I will again no longer take SD card back and forth from the bedroom to the office, no longer upload my data frequently, and stop using the headband.

Pros:

Data gets uploaded to Zeo's website automatically (IF everything goes right, big IF)

Cons:

Alarm has a mind of its own, it goes off when it is not supposed to and doesn't when it should.

iOS app crashes a lot, 1) while sleeping loses all data after crash. 2) while uploading data in morning, will upload it on next success.

Headband loses Bluetooth connectivity, seems to have been fixed by firmware upgrade.

Headband doesn't snap into charging base easily. Headband is too fat. Fiddling with it causes stress each morning.

Too much button pushing each night. Causes a bit of stress before going to sleep.

Bottom Line:

cannot be trusted as an alarm clock

does not reliably collect sleep data

Is there really any value to an alarm clock/data collector that cannot be trusted as an alarm clock, nor reliably collect sleep data?

Buy Zeo Mobile Sleep Manager Now

I've been using the zeo mobile for about a week. I don't have a bedside zeo, so this is my first experience with it.

The initial device setup was surprisingly easy. I just charged it and paired it with my phone (an Android phone). Nightly operation is also simple and has been reliable so far: I take the headband off the charger, listen for the sound from my phone, put it on, and sleep. In the morning, I put it back on the charger, go to my phone, and check the zeo app to see how I did. So far I've found the ZQ scores correlate well with my subjective feeling about how rested I am.

Syncing the data to the web site wasn't as smooth. I tried creating an account at the site, but it seems to be designed for the bedside one, and doesn't offer an option to sync with a mobile unit. I eventually used my phone to set up syncing, which worked fine, and I can see all my data on the site. I haven't played around with the site enough to know how useful the online features are.

Good:

Simple reliable operation (with Android, at least).

Data seems to make sense.

Headband is comfortable and doesn't bother me while sleeping.

Bad:

The website is in flash and registration could be simpler (advice: use the mobile app to register and set up sync).

The device doesn't snap into the charger convincingly. I usually have to move it around a little before I'm convinced it's charging.

Don't know yet:

Long term reliability.

Usefulness of online features.

The Zeo Mobile collects at most one block of sleep per 24 hours. If I wake up and move around during the night, it only reports one half of the night. It is very frustrating, because I can see the data reaching my iPhone, but the display there is too small for useful analysis.

I reported this to Zeo, asking how to record and download the whole night, and the customer service response said, in part: "At the moment, Zeo is designed to capture a full night of sleep data, as opposed to shorter time periods (like naps)" and continued on the assumption that I was trying to collect naps.

Apparently, the Zeo people sleep too well to understand that a night's sleep might involve multiple discontinuous blocks of sleep time. Their software is designed only for those who sleep through the night.

As a frequent traveler (and busy graduate student) that suffers from heavy jetlag, I found the new Zeo mobile to be an excellent tool to help understand my strange sleep patterns in shifted time zones. With the old unit, I could only get sleep data at home and if I wanted to collect data when I needed it most on the road, I would pack my bedside unit and take it with me. Since I have erratic sleep patterns (sometimes with afternoon naps), collecting sleep data on the move became a huge challenge. With the new Zeo mobile, I simply bring the headband and dock around with me in my bag.

Prior to buying a Zeo, some of my friends suggested going to a sleep clinic, but I found that many of my sleep problems were related to travel and many of them subsided when I was at home. Although I haven't been formally tested at a sleep clinic, I found that I was able to measurably improve my sleep and energy levels by making small lifestyle changes suggested on the Zeo website (and other sleep help sites). While I acknowledge that a sleep clinic might provide more/better data, I do have to say that the continuous measurement (on the road) aspect is what gives the Zeo mobile it's appeal. This is definitely a game changer for those who need to rest well on their journeys.

C Pap Chin Strap

C Pap Chin StrapI didn't really want to give it 5 stars, but at this point there is only one other review and that review is unfair. I will update this after I've used the strap more, but after one night, this strap is fine--it does its job as advertised. The box says, "gently cradles your jaw to keep mouth closed," "adjustable to fit anyone," and "soft and comfortable material." These are all facts. The quality should be a little better. For me, the second piece going around the back of the head is critical to keep the strap in position during the night. The main strap going over the top of the head needs to be position slightly forward so it does not slide towards the back of the head, lower the tension against my draw. Again, only 1 night, and I'll update, but this strap works for me so far.

This product did not fit or work properly. Even tightening the straps did not help. The material was too flimsy and the material just stretched out and did not hold in my chin.

The item does not look like the pictured item. Very difficult to figure out how to use. Did not stay on the head. Poor instructions , no diagrams on how to assemble it on your head.I was sent 2 of these and not the more expensive one I ordered too.

This is the type of product CPAP users need to prevent mouth breathing. However, there are two problems with this product. One is the that the back strap velcro has to fasten to the strap material--not to a matching velcro patch. Second, the material seems to stretch too much with use. It's better than nothing, and slightly better than an elastic bandage with a safety-pin, but I'm looking for something better.

This is similar in design to my CPAP mask already. I don't always wear / need my mask. Top piece was OK not great, but the piece that goes behind the head barely had any grip at all. Shame this could work fairly well if a little more was spent on ensuring quality and slightly improved design.

First, not everything works for everyone so some will not like it. Second, it's common sense to not mix meds and to check what side affects can be before taking anything. You can die from an OD of Vitamins. Everything affects everyone differently. Also never start with a full dose (unless prescribed by a doctor and even they tell you to stop for certain side affects); work your way up. Now for the review...

I've taken this for a while now off and on for those times when I'm stressed or can't fall asleep. It works fine for me. It also makes me a bit queasy if I try to stay up past the 1hr mark. I tested this and it seems it a side affect meant to force you to sleep before that point. I do end up a little groggy if I didn't have a full 8hrs and woke up before.

I have also taken ZMA which is mostly Zinc. This can't be taken with certain meds (as anything else since you can't take vitamins with some meds). It works fine and I sometime do a half dose of each together. Which depending on my state can be better.

In general, avoid drinking liquids an hour before bed. Don't eat for 2 hours before bed. Go to bed hungry (you don't want to be stuffed or starving; leave room for desert). Avoid sugars, chocolate, vitamin C a few hours before bedtime. Cut back on the coffee and drink it early and not on an empty stomach. Warm milk with honey, hot herbal (no caffeine) tea, as well as yogurt can help. Avoid TV, computers and video games at least an hour before as it overstimulates the brain and the senses. Try reading a book instead. Lighting also plays a role, dimmed lights and darkness start the body into night mode. Also, if taking allergy meds (most such as Zyrtec which can make you drowsy), take it at night. This way it's in your system, you're on a schedule and the effects helps you sleep.

Hope some of this helps. If in ever in doubt always consult your doctor.

Alteril works fairly well. I take two,1 hour before bedtime. They do help me get to sleep. Staying asleep is another story. The "effect" does not last long enough.

I ordered more than one package of Alteril and had to pay for shipping for each package. I did not like that

Had trouble sleeping, purchased Alteril, and Wham no more problem, plus NOT narcotic... Happy to get good nights sleep......Thanks for asking.

It has everything I used to take and had to buy seperately to get a decent night's sleep. It doesn't "put you to sleep" but it does help you relax so that it is easier to fall asleep, and it certainly helps stop the waking every two or three hours. I've had slow sleep disorder all of my life and it can be a miserable existance but products like these make it manageable without risking dependence and/or addiction. Take two with a cup of Kava Tea, go to bed and read or mediatate (do NOT watch TV that is the single worst thing any insomniac can do habitually!)the next thing you know it will be morning and you won't even remember falling asleep.

Valerian Root Extract 4oz

Animal PM

Universal Nutrition Animal Pm, 30 PacksMy gym sessions tend to run late and I cant seem to wind down. I am not a bodybuilder but train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and as much as I love it I ended up having the worst time falling asleep and staying asleep. While this is no wonder sleep aid the pak combination has done wonders for me. My diet is REALLY cleaned up so along with that I have been sleeping great, am better recovered and quite possibly have had more energy than ever. I take it every night without fail. So if you think this product is for you, and your diet and nutrition is on point. GET IT. Pricing options are better on other websites however. Help us out Amazon!

I use Animal PM for two reasons:

1. The relaxation agents assist in helping me calm down enough to fall asleep.

2. The amino acid complex provides sufficient support for lean mass that prevents a chubby weighlifter from having to eat right before bed.

Does it work? I'm still an occassional insomniac; nothing is going to change that. However, on nights I take PM, I do fall asleep easier. I'm consistently showing gains in the gym as well, so at the very least the bodybuilding elements are not running counter to my intentions.

I expected this product to have me staggering to bed, but I can't say I was dead tired when my head hit the pillow. My main caveat is that for some reason I got really crummy sleep the first couple nights. After that I slept well and continue to, which I suppose is the whole point. Most people blame the GABA for the initial insomniathe rep at Universal Nutrition told me that. I'm not a bodybuilder, just a regular joe that wants to remain healthy and fit.

Due to its fairly high cost though, I'm probably going to pass on it when my supply runs out. If you're like me and take a lot of vitamins, you're reluctant to criticize a pill product because you know there are unseen effects. It usually takes time to see them, if at all. Sometimes months or years. If money were no object, I'd continue taking Animal PM. But it's not essential. You could probably save yourself money by just buying ZMA and some aminos separately. Universal is a good company though. I still take an Animal Pak every day.

When you first open the canister you can smell the valerian root through the plastic packets. This stuff is a great night time nutritional supplement that helps promote relaxation without a heavy narcotic like sleep effect. I'm a night owl but the hops, chamomile and valerian in this product has made it easier for me to get to sleep a bit earlier each night so I wake up refreshed and ready for the gym. And just stacking this with animal pak and one capsule of saw palmetto in the morning and pumpkin seed extract at night has made a noticeable difference for me in performance and results in the gym in just a matter of weeks. I love this product.

I have used Animal Paks in the past and have been quite impressed so when Universal introduced a sleeping aid I was eager to try it. It did nothing to improve my rest at night. Instead it left me feeling groggy the day after. I gave it a try for about ten days. My sleep was getting worse and worse, and I was feeling more fatigued during the day so I returned it for a refund.

Schiff Melatonin Plus 3 mg Melatonin with 25 mg Theanine - For Stress Relief and a Sounder Sleep - 3

Schiff Melatonin Plus 3 mg Melatonin with 25 mg Theanine - For Stress Relief and a Sounder Sleep - 300 TabletsI ordered Melatonin Plus and they sent me Melatonin Ultra. When I brought this to the manufacturer they said that they did not carry it anymore. They refused to take the listing on amazon down. Basically I ordered plus and was shipped ultra. If that is what you want then it is a pretty awesome deal. If not it begins to feel very underhanded very quickly. This supplier has lost my trust forever.

If you have trouble sleeping this is the product for you. I have had insomnia for a while and the first night I tried this product I slept 9 hours without waking once. I have been using this for 3 weeks now and sleep soundly each night. I have also found my stress levels have lessened. Can highly recommend this product.

As long as you don't have deeper issues affecting sleep (e.g. emotional reasons that need to be addressed in therapy, etc.), this is fantastic. I find that 2 or 3 tablets about 30 minutes before my bedtime works best for me. It's nothing like a sleeping pill in that it's not addictive and you don't wake up feeling drugged. It's a nice insurance policy that you will get a restful sleep. I love it!! And the ingredients are good for you. I find that melatonin on its own doesn't work for me, but this combination with the L-theanine does the trick! I can't talk highly enough about this product!!~

Bio-Active Anti-Aging Cream Multi-Action Restorative Night Cream with Advanced Double-Lifting Effect

Bio-Active Anti-Aging Cream Multi-Action Restorative Night Cream with Advanced Double-Lifting Effect 50 mlWhile shopping at Ross, I noticed this unassuming bottle of youth. I'd heard good thinks about moisturizers from Europe, so I'd thought I'd give this one a try. In the past I have been partial to Neutrogena products having had good results. At the time of purchase, I didn't know anyone who was using this cream. I'm a 45-year old female with children. I bring this up because your skin, elasticity, and hormonal levels fluctuate as you age. My facial skin is normal, although I get one or two blemishes during the month.

I found Bio-Active Anti-Aging Cream (BAAAC) to be one of the best buys ever. Don't be fooled by the somewhat plain packaging on this "not well-recognized in America" line. This is CIA (Cosmetic Intelligence Agency) level info. Thank goodness you don't have to be an operative to enjoy its benefits. The cream is not greasy at all, but absorbs very well into your skin. I also tried using BAAAC on my arms, stretch marks, and the backside of my hands. I have had excellent results in all areas. The stretch marks are fading and feel better no dry, itchy skin. My hands are in water all the time, but using BAAAC at night has helped reduce the fine lines. As for my face, I didn't have alot of lines to start with, but I definitely feel the overall texture and elasticity has improved. I also have some dark spots which never left after my pregnancies. The spots are finally starting to fade (yippee!).

I've added this to my maintenance regiment as a best practice. BAAAC delivers on what many of the pricier creams only promise. Guys, you'll be happy to know that the cream does not have a heavy perfume scent so, go ahead and slather some on, too. Ladies, you might need to pick-up two jars one for you and another for your favorite man. Enjoy!

This product really works!! I am 55 years old and have been using this product for about a month now and I am pleased with the results. I wanted something to help with my frown lines and noticed results after about two weeks. I found this at Ross but only purchased one jar went back to purchase more but only had one left! So glad I found this product here online. I will be purchasing more!

L'Oreal Paris RevitaLift Deep-Set Wrinkle Repair Night Lotion, 1.7 Ounce

L'Oreal Paris RevitaLift Deep-Set Wrinkle Repair Night Lotion, 1.7 OunceI used this and the daytime formula on my forehead exactly as the directions specify . . . no change whatsoever after 12 weeks. It was applied to clean skin as instructed, faithfully *every* day, but my forehead lines look just the same. For comparison information, I'm in my mid-50s, fair-skinned with very minimal sun damage (a dermatologist commented on that fact when I consulted him for another issue). I get plenty of sleep, stay well-hydrated, avoid sun exposure, etc.--all the things one should do to protect her complexion. I also don't have excessively-deep forehead lines, but, hey . . . at 55, unless you've managed not to smile or frown your entire life, you're going to have some!

All in all, I found this cream to have no value. Fortunately, I bought it and the daytime formula in a BOGO offer, so I was only out half the price of the pair.

I have been using this product as well as the day creme for about a week. My skin feels smoother and my makeup goes on easier. Age spots seem to be getting a little lighter. The night creme is very silky feeling to the face and neck. It is readily absorbed into the skin and has a pleasant fragrance.

I purchased this product a few weeks ago and have used it approximately 15 times. I did not over-indulge given the price tag. Tonight when I went to put it on I ran out. Thinking I could open the container and get the last bit out out I discovered that the container inside the 4" long cylinder was actually less than 1/2"! Half of the product was still in this little, bitty tub that took up only 1/8th of the product packaging. HORRIBLY DECEITFUL! I don't know if this product works because I don't have enough money to buy 8 tubes of nothing! Shame on you L'Oreal. You have lost a customer and hopefully many more.

I've been using this for over a year on a daily basis. It's not a miracle potion but I have noticed that my skin is smoother, clearer and that wrinkles are less evident. It does nothing though for deep wrinkles and for that reason I feel the claims are a bit deceptive as a "deep set wrinkle repair cream". For the price however I think it does quite a good job of improving the overall appearance of my skin. I'm 63 so I don't have huge expectations of any cream.

Feels great going on, but as the day progressed, I realized that it was flaking off and showering debris onto my eyebrows and clothing. Big disappointment given the price tag.

ThermaCare Air-Activated Neck to Arm Heatwraps, 3-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)

ThermaCare Air-Activated Neck to Arm Heatwraps, 3-Count BoxesMy title says it all. They work, but they look like maxi pads. Would it kill ya, ThermaCare to make these things say BLUE instead of white? I look like a total moron.

Even at 6 for $10, they're kind of steep, but they're actually hot, and you can get them in places a heating pad won't fit, and they're not heavy like the clay or gel microwave pads (sometimes the weight of those things leads me to get a cramp somewhere else).

So anyway, at 6 for $10, I think they're worth it for the convenience factor, for not smelling like ben gay, and for being able to put them where I want.

But what I REALLY want is an actual topical muscle relaxer, not bengay, not menthol, but a gel you'd rub in that relaxes that exact muscle and doesn't make your head stupid. Make that for me, and I will buy it by the case.

The end.

These patches provide real relief. I bought them for a relative who uses them for emergencies and while traveling. Do not use for over 8 hours at a stretch can cause slight burns if used beyond 8 hours.

I make sure that Thermacare Heatwraps are always in the house for when family members who injure knees and backs when having fun as a Sunday amateur athlete (but then Monday comes, and brings the aches along with it), when nasty strains and sprains pop up and even when someone is in bed with the cold and aches from a virus and feels as if she needs a little warmth to comfort the sick one and to give a little relief. The size is perfect for all of these things, without wasting a lot of product. The fact that three comes in a box, instead of two for the back/waist sized Thermacare heatwraps.

I'd recommend that anyone keep a box or two of these on hand as part of a a normal first aid kit. Amazon has a phenominal price on them (better than anyplace I've found locally), which makes the Heatwraps even the teeniest bit better.

I use these heat wraps for my neck often. I have arthritus in my neck and the heat is soothing. The only negative thing I can say about these heat wraps is that once in a while you get one that gets so hot it burns your skin and the same can be said that you can also get one that never gets very warm at all. I really like to use these in the winter time when I have to be outside for any amount of time. I put one on my neck and bundle up. It keeps the cold draft away from my neck and I don't end up with tight muscles because I was out in the cold.
