My daughter is diagnosed with Aspberger's Syndrom and has not slept through the night except sporadically since she was born (she is 4 now). This stuff is a godsend!!!! This melatonin works great for my kids and for me both. Most pill forms are in 1 mg or 3 mg or even higher dosages. My daughter only needs 1/3 of the dropper to be able to fall asleep and the liquid form works faster than the pills. The dosage is also more precise than me trying to cut up the little pills into thirds. Flavor is great too tastes good! We've bought this repeatedly and will continue to do so.

Rest Easy Kills & Repels Bed Bugs Tripper Spray

Unlike the user below I thought this product worked well. I was able to rid myself of bed bugs (I caught it in early stages), but don't get me wrong, you have to do more than depend on one spray.

It's not going to work instantly, like steam, but it does kill the bugs without poisoning you (unless you're allergic to any of the ingredients like cinnamon). The oils attach itself to the body of bed bugs and dissolves the shell.

The smell will stick around like with most bug sprays, I suggest ventilation. I also suggest reading how to use it properly so you don't end up with staining your bedding or fabrics or using too much of the product.

The best part of this product is that is doesn't use pesticides and it is effective (the user before should have read a little bit more about how it kills the bug before assuming it works like Raid on a roach).

I also suggest for the sufferers out there to also use steam in cracks and food grade diatomaceous earth and to do research how to best apply each measure so you don't waste the little energy you have after probably not getting a full nights sleep.

Life Extension Melatonin 6 Hour Timed Release

I have taken two other brands of melatonin, and they have always worked extremely well for me to get me to sleep. These work great, 1-2x a week. I was skeptical about the slow release delivery method. But, it truly is slow release. If it weren't, i'd wake up at 3am, as I do when taking non-slow released melatonin. This slow released melatonin keeps me asleep all night. Keep in mind, you quickly build up a tolerance. I have a herniated c4/5 disk which has caused much discomfort with arm/hand numbness and neck pain while sleeping. I have tried several pillows and eventually found the best relief without a pillow. This little baby has caused me to enjoy pain free sleep since I received it.

Make sure you get the large if you have a neck size of like..15" or more (like most men). Another thing: The color bleeds like crazy so you can save lots of hassle by just washing the thing right away in hot water. I took it into the shower with me and in five minutes, had most of the excess dye removed. Funny, it didn't look any different at all.

Another thing remember to keep it a bit less than snug if you are going to lie down and sleep with it the neck veins naturally distend when you lie down and can end up feeling strangled. If you are like me, just having it on a little less than snug will keep you head in a good position all night.

I bought it for sitting on the airplane. Much more compact than bringing a neck pillow, and MUCH easier to clean. Getting the cover on and off of my travel ring shaped pillow was a pain and for the ones that don't have a cover, once you spill or drool on it, it's garbage!

The one I received is black, which I'm actually happy about, but if you're expecting blue, just realize that you may or may not get it.

Support is halfway between "bare neck" and "neck brace". Maybe a little less than I would want, but I guess more than I can ask for in such a little package. Don't forget that it does insulate, so after while, your core temperature will increase. I find that to be beneficial because airplanes are always too cold anyway!

Nice for the intended use: travelling. Not sure about using it medically as I have no problems with my neck...yet! Definitely a nice companion in my carry on.

Aquis Microfiber Hair Towel, Lisse Crepe (19 x 39-Inches)

My review of this product is that it performed exactly as it said it would. In response to Georgia Girl's review, I kind of think it's irresponsible to write 1 star reviews on products when you're unhappiness is not about the product. This towel is clearly 19X39 inches. There are 12 inches in a foot. That means it's about 3 feet long. How can one criticize it for being "too short" when the title clearly states how long it is? Also, if one is looking for a longer towel there is a body towel that is, as clearly stated, 29x55 inches.

As for the drying, the towel is very absorbant. However, if the towel is "too short" and you attempt to wrap lots of sopping wet hair up in it, you may be dissapointed. That's like sopping up a puddle with a sheet of bounty it's all relative. Be smart, buy the size you need and you will be impressed with the amount of water it picks up. I'd also recommend the doggie dryer It's become a staple in our lives like dog food and his leash. It goes just about everywhere the dog does now if the trip at all involves water!

Against my better financial judgement, I finally decided to spring for this doohickey based on the rave reviews both here and on the curly-hair-support websites. I had a feeling, even as I clicked the button to purchase it, that I was wasting my money. And that feeling turned out to be wrong.

Right out of the bag, even before it was washed, this thing was amazing. I have very curly hair that goes past my shoulders, and as you curly girls know, hair like that can be very temperamental if it's not treated just so. I use the dreadfully-named, but effective, Deva Curl No Poo shampoo and the Deva Curl One Condition. Then, the touch-and-go post-shower routine. If my hair is too wet when I put in gel, the water weighs it down and it sets flat. If it's too dry, the gel doesn't distribute and my hair turns to a half-straight, half-afro abomination. This towel gets it just dry enough, right out of the shower, so I can gel it up and scrunch before I start getting dressed. I never could get my hair to just this perfect dryness level with a terry towel.

One tip: If you have to apply product to your hair while it's still wet, as most curly girls do, you've got to do it right after using the Aquis. It soaks up so much water that your hair will start air-drying right away, and if you wait 10 minutes, you'll have missed the moment -it'll be too dry to apply product to.

Using it is simple. I turn my sopping, dripping head upside down and use the Aquis to blot/scrunch a ton of water out of it. Then I hang the Aquis up to dry -which it does nicely and quickly -and immediately put some gel in my hands, turn my head upside-down again, apply the gel throughout my hair, and scrunch again.

Neuro Nutritional Supplement Drink, Sleep, 14.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 12)

These drinks are excellent and far superior to any sleeping pills I've taken in the past, and personally I love the taste too. I look forward to it not only for what it will do for my sleep that night but it tastes really good to me so its kind of my night-time treat too.

The problem with the sleeping pills I've taken, all over the counter, is that they always put me to sleep but without fail i wake up in middle of the night and I'm wide awake. I started adding 3 mg of Melatonin (10 Grams), which is the working ingredient in these drinks and as a result I've only needed to drink a third of the bottle which really makes a difference. Now a twelve pack lasts me well over a month which makes using these drinks on a long term basis much more realistic. I hope my review helps someone else too.

I was excited to try this product after my positive experience with the NeuroSonic energy/focus drink from this line. I use this on nights I'm not tired and need to wake up early for the next day.

MY SLEEP SITUATION:

I have the issue of being relatively tired in the evening and then getting a "second wind" around 10, which causes me to want complete tasks when I should be sleeping or winding down for bed. If I'm not watching the clock I can be up till 2 A.M. doing random around the house or reading articles. When I do sleep I also have nights where I wake up multiple times to shift around on my bed, which is disruptive to my sleep cycle. To address this, I have tried a variety of sleep shots, drinks, supplements, and teas. Many of them are not strong enough, do not keep me asleep the duration of the night, make it extremely difficult to wake up in the morning, or make me feel like a zombie when I am awake.

TASTE (10/10):

Now I will begin to tell you about this refreshing sleep drink. This lightly carbonated liquid is easy to drink (I consider it "chuggable") with a soft flavor that reminds me of strawberries and tangerines. The taste does slightly linger in the mouth for a bit, but it's a pleasant taste either way.

PERFORMANCE (10/10):

For this drink to work, I have to cooperate as well and hop into bed with the lights out. If I don't do this, the drink doesn't reach its potential. The first effect is a relaxed feeling within 10 minutes of consumption. About 15-25 minutes after drinking 1/3 to 1/2 of the bottle, my eyes to start getting very heavy. At this point I can be watching an interesting show and nothing can keep me from passing out. It feels great when I am falling asleep from this, like a well deserved rest. I do not wake up in the middle of the night after drinking NeuroSleep and feel like I get more out of my sleep. I also do not feel overly tired waking up as long as I have 7 hours or more to sleep. I have drank NeuroSleep many times but never get to the second half of my drink because I fall asleep, so I actually get 2-3 uses out of a bottle. I'd imagine the effects are stronger when you drink the entire bottle before bed.

COST (7/10):

I pay 2.39 for a 1 serving, 14.5 oz bottle. Even if it was 1.99 I'd feel a lot better about the price, but that is just a personal opinion. The price does not keep me from purchasing the product 1-2 times a week and I am able to split one serving.

Overall, this is a great sleep aid drink which I'd recommend to people who have trouble falling or staying asleep and want to stay away from prescription sleep aids.

These bottles are $ 15 at the vitamin shop...when they have them in stock. So 2 for $ 21 is, shall we say, awesome!

This soap is like an air conditioner for the skin. It wakes you up in the shower and you smell so minty fresh when done! It does leave your skin dry, so to combat this I use (in the winter) the Body Shop Scrubbing oil and (in the summer) Skin so Soft oil (to ward off mosquitoes) which will stop the skin from drying and seal in that shower moisture.

But I wouldn't recommend using this soap for the face, even if you have oily skin. It would dry out the face.

Although overall I do like the product, I have noticed after several weeks of use that it has started to irritate the more sensitive skin areas (underarms, face and nether-regions). After not using it on those areas for a few days, the irritation did go away.

I may be in the minority on this my skin may be overly sensitive to one or more of the ingredients but it may not be perfect for everyone.

I love peppermint soaps and shampoos, and this one is pretty good. It does leave a little bit of that tight, dry feeling you can get from bar soaps, but if you dilute it with a little it works quite well. My problem is more with the label and all of the strange, religious nonsense all over it. I'm sorry, I just don't want a weird religious lecture from my soap and it makes the label hard to read if you're trying to figure out the directions for recommended use. But having said that, if the label doesn't bother you, it's a good, healthy, natural product that you can use just about anywhere.

BodyMedia LINK Armband Weight Management System

I have had my new BodyMedia BW for several days now. Unfortunately, I tried to pre-order it on Amazon but was one of many who were told it would take 1-3 weeks to ship on the release date. Bummer. I ended up ordering it directly from BodyMedia instead. I am a Mac user and initially needed to download one driver for the unit from the BM site and then Java to get the Activity Manager to work from Safari. None of these items will work with Firefox, but not a big deal. Overall, a very easy set-up that only took 10 minutes even with the downloads.

I find that wearing the unit is very comfortable so far for the entire day and while sleeping. I remove it to sync and shower. It is also comfortable under clothes.

Syncing with my iPhone is relatively easy. Just one push on the unit while the app is open and my phone and the most recent calorie/step count/activity data will be displayed within the app. One minus though, once your phone times out to conserve battery you lose your Bluetooth connection and must complete the sync again. Not a big deal, but it could be improved. The capabilities of the app are more limited to the on-line AM, but I am hoping in time it will be upgraded.

You must use the USB cord to officially download/sync your unit to the Activity Manager (website based). You cannot yet do so with the Bluetooth capability of your computer. Another bummer, but possibly will improve in time. Also, be aware that your food input and calorie information on your phone will not automatically appear on-line within the AM, you must do a hard-line sync with the USB. Another little minus, but again minor. One the plus side, current data from the on-Line AM WILL immediately update into your app.

I have seen some comments where people are not happy with the AM food list and search capabilities for tracking calorie intake. I have used Spark People, LiveStrong, and the Lose It! app for iPhone and I am so far generally pleased with the on-line food list (as well as the app). In addition, entering my own food is very easy and the nutritional input area is very user friendly if you are into the details like I am.

So far, I am very surprised at how accurate the activity and sleep data is. It is exciting to see the spikes from a vigorous workout, but even walking up a few flights of stairs will show as a quick "spike", confirming that you did something more than your baseline. It also reflects long periods of sitting or laying down...need to keep those to a minimum :)

The Activity Manager interface is well laid out and shows general numbers and charting. Overall, polished and easy to use.

I also wanted to add that the customer service for BM has been satisfactory. This company appears to be trying very hard to make all of us new users (and current users) happy with our devices. There is also a Facebook page where the customer service reps will answer questions and are very responsive to users. This has helped me to learn more about the device and answer more questions. They also list promotions for sales from the BM website and discuss releases for other retailers where the unit is available.

One last downside...the price. At the current rate of two-fifty for a unit they are not cheap. Certainly more than I wanted to spend, but for the motivation is worth it for many users struggling to really get a grasp on the calorie-out part of the weight loss/maintenance equation.

***UPDATE***

I have been using this unit now for about 6 weeks, and I continue to be satisfied. The biggest surprise for me has been that I needed to INCREASE my caloric intake when my weight plateaued for two weeks. I was able to run a detailed report from the data that has been collected over several weeks and it was clear that I had too large of a calorie deficit each day. Show me another weight loss/health product that can do THAT! The reports are a great tool. A recent update to the iPhone app has just been released as well which fixes some bugs and adds to the utility of the app's use.

I've been wearing the new BodyMedia BW armband for about a week now, and although it was a rocky, frustrating set up I'm loving it now. I starting wearing this right after Thanksgiving and I've already lost the extra turkey and pumpkin pie pounds I gained thanks to this!

Due to some of the other reviews posted, I think some clarifications are in order. First, all the data that is being collected is actually stored on the armband. The only thing the phone does is act as a display of data that's on the armband (just like how the watch/display works with previous versions, by the way). But it's able to do a lot more than the old watch display by taking additional information like the food log and give you an up to date snapshot to show if you're consuming more or less calories than you're burning. Just like with previous versions, you still have to "download" the official data to the Bodymedia activity manager on your computer via a USB cable.

You do have to press the button on the armband to link it to your phone BEFORE you open up the app. Then when it links, the phone will display your latest steps, calories burned, etc. I do this once or twice during the day to see where I'm at and its super easy to link it each time before. If it were constantly connected (as another reviewer indicated he thought that's how it should work) it would kill the battery life of both your phone and your armband bluetooth drains battery life. If you are in an exercise session (say, at the gym), you go to the workout section of the app, and the phone and armband stay connected for that entire session so you can get real time data and work out till you've reached a threshold of burned calories. Super easy.

There's no doubt the setup instructions need improvement. I've seen on other sites that customer service can help, though. As much as I like the convenience of bluetooth it does drain the battery life of the armband. I used to wait two weeks between charging, now I have to charge every 3 or 4 days.

But overall I love this version of the armband. It's a great tool. Should you upgrade from the previous version to the BW version? If you've got a supported smart phone and you like being able to check in to see how you're doing or want real time info when you're at the gym then yes. If you're ok with using the watch display combined with the previous version -then stick with it.

I was so excited to receive the new Bodymedia FIT bluetooth version, however I am really disappointed. I love technology, but this seems to be much less user friendly than previous versions and they have lost some vital functionality. My main issues:

1. If you turn the phone off or multi-task to another app, the Bluetooth does not stay connected to the phone. In order to reconnect you have to push the button on your armband. If you could hit "refresh" in the app and have it reconnect that would be fine, but having to push the button on the armband is very cumbersome.

Depending on what I am wearing, I can't hit the button through my clothes. So I

have to reach under my shirt (imagine how that looks!) to push a button, which makes a not so quiet beep-beep-beep tone every time I want to check how many calories I have burned.

2. I am not a fan of the BodyMedia food interface so I track my food through MyFitness Pal and enter my calories consumed using the daily estimate feature. This feature is not available on the app. In order to enter just the number of calories consumed you have to use the web interface. That means I can't use the app for food logging.

3. The old version that had the display unit showed your current calorie burn rate in calories per minute. There is no way to see this information on the app. I have had issues with my armband showing abnormally high burn rates while driving in the car. I used the display to monitor this, and would take it off or flip over the armband if I saw it happening. There is no way to check your current burn rate during an activity. You have to wait until you sync your armband at home and try to remember what time it was.

4. Workouts: Several options for it to alert you when you have completed a work out based on minutes, calories or intensity. This is a nice feature. However once your workout is done it is not tracked anywhere. There is no way to review current or past workouts.

I hope BodyMedia does a lot of work to improve the usability. There are so many cool ways to use technology to track fitness/health, and this one just falls flat.

I bought my Body Media armband through Jenny Craig when I joined about 9 weeks ago. I feel it has been an invaluable tool, as well as a great motivator for me. I have lost 12.5 pounds with the help of Jenny Craig and the Body Media armband. I enter all my calories consumed on a daily basis, and since the device calculates how many calories I have burned, I know exactly where I am in terms of "calorie balance" (surplus or deficit). All the Jenny Craig meals are already in the system, as are many other foods. Foods that are not already in the system can be easily entered ("create new food"). I also invested $25 in a food scale that I bought through Amazon (the EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale) which has been extremely helpful in terms of accurately gaging portion sizes and calorie intake.

Out of curiosity, I read a lot of the negative reviews here, and it seems that a large portion of them are due to people having problems with the bluetooth feature and using the device with their phones. I can't speak to this since I do not use the device with my phone, only on my Mac, and I have not had a single problem. I feel that not only has this device been an integral part of my weight loss, it will be essential in helping me to maintain my weight once I reach my goal.

I also want to mention one little "trick" that was told to me by my Jenny Craig consultant: if you're a woman you can actually take the device out of the armband and wear it tucked in the left side of your bra. During the day I wear it in my bra, and at night I wear it with the armband, and in my experience this does not change the performance of the device, and it's great if you are wearing short sleeves/sleeveless or if you just get tired of wearing the armband.

The cover is extremely soft, fleece-like material and it fit over the pad very easily. It secures on with another elastic on the bottom, which most covers don't have and it does fit snug.

The swaddle is a great idea except it's a bit small. I put my 9 month old in it and put her arms in the swaddle but it's very easy for a bigger baby to get out. It is definitely better suited for smaller babies. I think if the swaddle part was made just a little bit bigger it would be better. The velcro part also tends to stick to the pad itself so sometimes that's a hassle to get out.

Otherwise, I do like the cover. It is durable and soft but the swaddle part could be improved upon.

I wasn't sure I'd really need something like this, but I found myself putting blankets over my daughter's body during changes to keep her calm, so it seemed like it might be a good idea. It definitely was! It only takes a moment to swaddle baby, so it's really easy. I do with that the swaddle detached, though, because I think this is a product that you will only need during certain stages of babyhood, like early on when baby needs to feel snug and then again during those wiggly months when baby won't stay still. Overall, a useful product!

I make my own bath salts, and I buy a variety of commercial bath salts as well. I am a firm believer in the use of bath salts to both relax muscles after a long day as well as to bring calming and soothing before one goes to bed. Sleep is so important for a healthy lifestyle! So I was quite intrigued to test out the San Francisco Salt Company Lavender bath salts.

First, the packaging is great. I have the 2lb bag. It's plastic so it stands up to the humid environment of the bathroom. There's a scent-opening on the one I have, which lets you sample the scent without opening the entire package. The top easily re-seals so you can take out just what you need and then store the rest.

And the aroma! As I said, I make my own bath salts and I adore lavender, so I routinely make up lavender smelling bath salts. Somehow the aroma they have in this is just fantastic. I could smell it all day. It's just right. When I'm done with the bath and heading to bed, it's a relaxing environment to help me fall asleep in.

The crystals are a good side not so fine that they aerosolize and make a mess, while still dissolving quickly and thoroughly.

I've had many bath salts which leave sticky residues or have off-aromas. So I'm quite pleased with these.

I'm not sure that I can find any down side. Normally I might say "you can make your own" but somehow they've made these better than I can make them.

(#1 REVIEWER)I have a bad back and after a couple of back surgeries I learned a number strategies that help my back feel better. One of them is a 10 minute hot bath every night it really helps feel and sleep better. Recently I included Sleep Lavender Bath Salts from San Francisco Bath Salt Company into my routine. I love it! The Lavender salt bath smells really nice. I don't like strong scents and this one was just right for me not too strong yet noticeable. It made my soak more luxurious and pleasant.

Note that if you don't like flowery scents, San Francisco Bath Salt Company offers other salts with different scents, for example Muscle Soak Bath Salts which smells minty.

I am attaching a collage of three photos (you can locate it by following 'customer photos' link under the main photo). The first photo shows salt in my hand, you can see the size and texture of the salt grains. The second photo shows the bag the salts came in, the salt has a light purple color. The third photo shows salt as it begins to melt in the tub.

I find that the hot soak reduces pain and relieve muscle cramps in my back. I also found that if I have a migraine a hot soak helps to ease the headache as well.

I usually use one or two hand fulls of salt per bath, so one 2 pound bag will last quite a long time.

I received an evaluation bag of Lavender Salt for evaluation and an honest review. I have been using salt soaks for a couple of weeks now. In addition to making my bath soaks more pleasant I noticed another other benefit. I noticed that the calluses on my feet are easier to treat after the soak in the bath with salts (compared to the soak in plain hot water). It takes fewer strokes with a pumice sponge to get my feet totally smooth.

In addition to the use in the tub, I also enjoyed using a bit of salt as skin exfoliator. It works nicely providing a gentle scrub and massage.

Overall, I am very pleased with Lavender Salt and will continue to use it.

Sleep Comfort Care Gel CPAP Pad - Small

I can not say enough how much I love this! I have had a CPAP for several years and have gone through several different kinds of masks, and all of them were horrible on my nose until I got this pad. I have very delicate skin on the bridge of my nose, and the masks would wear down my skin. Every morning I would wake up with a horrible red mark on my nose, sometimes it would wear all the way through the skin and make a sore. It would be hours before the red mark would fade every day. This pad is a godsend! It disperses the pressure of the mask and saves my skin. Now, I wake up and have a just little redness over a larger area, and it is quickly gone within an hour. The package says that it should be replaced once a month. I never did. I am still using my first one. I wash it with soap and water when needed, and although it has yellowed a bit, it still works great! One thing, when you take it off for the day make sure to lay it flat, otherwise it may develop wrinkles and creases (these go away, so it is no big deal, but it might prolong the life of your pad).

Update 5 months later: I finally have to replace it, mostly because I lost it. It did continue to yellow, but did not lose any functionality. It sometimes is difficult to get a good seal, but that is generally only when it needs to be cleaned. The majority of the time I have no problem getting a seal with it on my nose. I only wish they made a case for it so that it didn't get dusty during the day when I'm not using it. I also wish there was a way to have a pad that covered my cheeks also because they also get deep indentations from my mask. The only other problem I have had is that since there is no way to secure it either to your face or to the mask, it falls off when I take off my mask. So if I get up in the middle of the night and don't remember to catch it, and don't turn on the light I won't be able to find it to put it back on when I go back to sleep. It usually ends up somewhere on the bed or floor and I have to search for it. One good thing about it is that I have very acne-prone skin, and this has never caused me to breakout, so I really like that.

I was very excited to obtain this item as I was experiencing bruising on the bridge of my noise when using a CPAP mask. Unfortunately, I was unable to position the SeQual Pad in a way that would cushion the mask and not have it leak. It leaked constantly and I ended up throwing the pad away. Useless in my opinion.

At first had a little problem, getting a good seal on the mask, but once I got used to how to adjust its placement and it warmed to body temperature, problems went away.

Only drawback is it does pick up oils from skin and so turns slightly yellow after a while, but really, who cares? Just make sure to wash in mild soap in the morning, so its clean and fresh for use at night.

I was very disappointed that MediMediOnline would not provide a refund or credit because the product had been opened. I don't know how they expect you to find out that it doesn't work without opening it. Unless your face it the exact shape to work with this pad (and I don't know how it could work on anyone), my advice is to save your money.

This product has been so helpful with my daughter who has been diagnosed with Sensory disorder, ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. She does take Vyvanse (which was a last resort) but it wears off towards 4 or 5 in the afternoon. Relaxasaurus has been great to ease her mood when the Vyvanse has worn off. I also use Relaxasaurus on the weekends and other days when she is not in school so that she can have a break from the prescription medication. I take l-theanine for myself as needed, so when I saw this child's version, I hoped it would be just the thing for my high-strung 8 year old. We homeschool, and she has a tendency to have periodic meltdowns. She just doesn't handle stress very well. She doesn't take this everyday....only when she feels upset and stressed. It really seems to help her calm down.
