I haven't used the aromatherapy packet that came with the sleep mask, but this works very well for my purposes. It's very comfortable to wear, and while it doesn't block 100% of all light (some peeks in around my nose), it blocks substantial amounts of light. With my eyes closed, I can't tell that light leaks in, and I don't know many people who try to sleep with their eyes open. In fact, I've been able to sleep undisturbed, straight through strong morning light in a curtainless room full of windows. Before using this mask, a tiny bit of morning light escaping between the slats of venetian blinds would wake me up, and I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. This was well worth the money to me. I like the pink fabric, but the textured part of it is totally unnecessary. It doesn't affect it's effectiveness, though.

Gro-Egg Color Changing Digital Room Thermometer, White

This is a nice idea my wife and I really liked the concept and the styling of the Gro-Egg for our newborn's nursery. The problem is that the egg does not really work as intended. I have found the temperature displayed is consistenly wrong, usually 3 or 4 degress high. Just yesterday I saw the temp the jumping back and forth once per second between 73 and 77 degrees. An independent check of the room temp with another thermometer showed the room was 71 degrees. Since monitoring temperature is really the whole point, and this does not do it accurately or reliably, it is really not worth taking a chance on. We tossed the package but will attempt to return anyway.

My daughter bought this for our grandchild, though she has stopped paying attention to it. As other reviews note, although this makes an attractive addition to a child's room and is visually appealing, it is not particularly accurate, though that is true of many room thermometers. You can confirm this by placing it next to the thermostat for your heating system and seeing that the temperatures differ by several degrees. This also does not respond quickly to changes in room temperature. As a practical matter this means that if the temperature on this unit reads 65 degrees, for example, the actual room temperature could be anywhere from 61 to 69 degrees. However, that may be sufficient for your purposes.

Keep in mind that regardless of what your heating thermostat registers, room temperatures can vary (e.g. one room is draftier than another, so the temperature is cooler in that room). Therefore you cannot test the accuracy of this unit by placing it in a different location from your heating thermostat. Likewise, even if it is warm in your living room, your child's room could be cooler.

There are more accurate room thermometers (see, for example the Chaney AcuRite, which is sold on Amazon and costs less than half of what this product costs), but they will not add to the decor of a child's room, can be difficult to read in the dark (like the Chaney AcuRite), and cannot be read from a distance with a quick glance like you can with this product.

Bottom line: This looks nice and will give you a "ball park" idea of the room temperature, which may be all that you need. For greater accuracy buy something else.

The gro-egg is a gorgeous product and I was very excited about having it tell the temperature. However, it was measuring the house at 77 degrees farenheit when I knew the house was closer to 70 (based on the thermostat and independent temperature measures). I read the manual and it says it has sensitive electronics that taking warming up. After troubleshooting, it still gave an inaccurate measure.

Basically, this functions as a red nightlight that just makes me worry. Waste of $30.

I loved the idea of this thing. Unfortunately I ended up returning three separate ones before getting a different thermometer. They are nowhere near accurate. The first one read 71 degrees in a room that was 85 degrees. The second said 79 no matter what temperature the room actually was. The third also displayed a temperature in the 70s even when in a very cold/very hot room. This thing is a scam.

Carex Round Cervical Pillow

On the hunt for a replacement cervical pillow, we decided to try this one since it was memory foam. (we have other memory foam products, with which we are very pleased) Sadly, this one is still too firm for my husband's neck but again, this is so subjective. This pillow is also very short (12"), which was an attribute for us for travel and home. Unfortunately, we returned it because the firmness issue. It has a dark blue, soft cover with a textured pattern. It is attractive. According to other reviewers, the cover is removable (I don't recall confirming that and now it's been returned).

Because the foam is heat sensitive, this roll can be quite firm to begin with so isn't ideal immediately, but it's won me over. Here's why. I find a neck roll suits me better than a pillow at night because my hair doesn't end up mashed to my head, but finding the right type of support for both back and side sleeping is really a challenge.

I have tried four different types of rolls, one of which is a U shaped neck support thing from BB&B that I love for back sleeping at night in the winter because the size and support is good and it keeps my neck warm (it's by Bedding Essentials and isn't sold on Amazon), but when I turn over it doesn't work anymore so I set out to find a roll that would work. My first requirement was that the roll not be too long because then my hair is still mashed and since I'm retired I don't want to wash and restyle it every day. 12" seemed good so I tried three rolls of that length. One, a firm density lumbar roll was far too firm for neck support and was sent back, the second is a simple 12" x 5" foam roll. It is also quite firm although better. It has only a cheap fabric covering though with not even a zipper to close it. I'm not impressed.

This roll has a far more comfortable soft fabric covering that zips closed. When you first lay back against the pillow, it's quite firm, some may think too firm, in fact, when it was delivered and had sat outside in the cold for a while it was like a stone. But when it warms from your body heat, it softens quite pleasantly to conform to your shape. I put it under the blankets in my bed and when I turn on my side at night, I grab it for my pillow. Then it is just right as the foam compresses nicely to give the right amount of comfort and good support. And best of all, it accommodates my ear nicely so my ear is never sore or itchy in the morning as has happened with firmer rolls. Also the pillow doesn't seem to aggravate my rosacea which is made worse by too much heat.

While this pillow is not perfect and I wouldn't choose it for traveling because it needs time to warm up, it's the best I've found so far for nighttime.

I got a cervical pillow years ago but it smashed down to nothing. I replaced it with this one, a little afraid that it would be too hard, based on other reviews here. What I found when using mine is that once it warms up from your body heat, it just contours to your spine and provides really comfortable SUPPORT which is what it is supposed to do. If it was too soft, it would defeat the purpose. I love this pillow, and it travels well since it is small enough. IF you have neck and shoulder pain (by your shoulder blades) this may be what you've been looking for. Excellent product!! Great value!! Thanks!!

What happens with me and my adrenal fatigue is, after a week or so of not taking an adrenal support supplement, I feel spacey, fatigued all the time like jet-lag, and have trouble sleeping. I used to take Vital Nutrients adrenal support and I guess its my system, but I would always feel sleepy when I took it, and if I took too much I would feel sleepier, and it made my stomach upset. I know this works well (for me) because I took one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. until one full bottle was gone. I've had problems with fatigue and associated problems for years I'm 27 years old and feel as though I'm pushing 77. I've gone to every single specialist out there to try to diagnose unilateral edema in my left leg as well as uncontrollable fatigue. I've gotten so bad at times that I've fallen asleep at work, and most nights I come home and go directly to bed. I work an office job not exactly physically demanding. I have tried many, many pre-workout powders over the past few years so I thought I would start writing reviews to help consumers by giving my personal experience with all the supplements I have tried.

PROS:

-Mild stimulant for those looking for just a little extra kick.

-Label specifies amount of caffeine (270 mg/serving) there are very few supplements that specify actual amount of caffeine.

-Affordable for tight budgets.

-Taste is not the best but tolerable compared to some.

-No creatine if you don't want/like creatine in your pre-workout.

-Not as many ingredients as some others, so to me, less ingredients= less fillers and additives. (In most cases)

CONS:

-No Nitric Oxide ingredients from what I read. (L-Arginine, etc.) I had to stack with my N.O. supplement (Nitrix) to get a pump.

-No creatine if you want creatine in your pre-workout.

-Too much sodium, which may make you feel slightly bloated sometimes.

I recommend this product to those on a tight budget and are looking for a little bit of an energy kick before lighter workouts. For those who need a real pump and a smack in the face for their workouts, I suggest a stronger pre-workout.

I've been working out and playing a variety of sports at the competitive level for years. I've tried many different energy drinks and supps and have developed a tolerance for caffeine. I bought this with an open mind but not expecting much. Hyper FX kicked my butt! I took the recommended serving size of 1 scoop and within about 10 minutes I could feel it kick in. I've been working out 5 days a week for the past 2+ years. By now working out has just become routine. For about a year I was trying all kinds of supplements to improve my health, including this one. But, I never noticed a difference, so I have quit taking this--and most of the others. L-glutamine may increase weight gain in people with HIV/AIDS who have lost weight. Malnourished cancer patients may also take glutamine to treat mouth infections that occur during chemotherapy.

SIDE EFFECTS

According to Drugs.com, serious side effects of glutamine include chest pain, hearing problems or infections. Less serious side effects include nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, swelling, muscle pain, headaches, rashes or sweating. According to UMMC, you should not take L-glutamine if you have kidney disease, liver disease or Reye's syndrome. L-glutamine may increase the effectiveness of some forms of chemotherapy; however, it may also stimulate tumor growth.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not take L-glutamine if you have cancer, unless directed by your doctor to do so. You should not take more than 15 g per day, and elderly people may need to take less if they have decreased kidney function. Do not mix L-glutamine powder with hot liquids because heat destroys it. You should not take glutamine if you are pregnant. Only take glutamine supplements under the guidance of your doctor.

I have used Nature's Answer chamomile extract for 20 years. It replaced the chamomile tea bags which are more fun and tasty but not as expedient in the middle of the night or on an airplane. When I happen to wake at 2 or 3 AM thinking of business issues and have trouble getting back to sleep, 4 drops in water do the job within 15 minutes. Of course, one has to relax and not let anticipation keep one awake. The other use is on business flights to Europe where one has to walk into a meeting on the day of arrival. On flights that leave the USA 5-7PM and arrive in Europe 7-9AM, 8 drops of this extract, plus noise canceling headphones without input, an eye mask, and the request not to be wakened for meals or drinks, will allow me to wake on the descent into Europe, change my shirt, rent a car, and drive to the meeting and the business dinner afterward. I prefer the non-alcohol extract because it is in glycerin which gives the water a faint sweet flavor, but I have also used the alcohol extract successfully. You may need to adjust the number of drops for your metabolism; I noticed it requires less and less over time. I need to avoid sugar and caffeine in the evening for this to work the most effectively. Never tried it for Peter Rabbit's condition!

I would highly recommend this as a relaxation / sleep aid. And since it has a cooling effect when consumed, it could be the perfect summer supplement. Catnip is also supposed to enhance your dreams or make them more lucid, according to Rosemary Ann Guiley. It seems that I remember more of mine when taking this herb. Also catnip oil is a good mosquito repellent -but I don't know if it would have the same effect in this form. Still if that's a possible collateral benefit, why not give it a try? I don't understand why more alternative health books don't mention it, as it is a great traditional remedy. It's also packed with a lot of surprising nutrients (like magnesium) and even acetic acid. So that may help your digestion. I find that these capsules work better for me than the tea. So give it a try some night and who knows what dreams may come!

I bought this to help me fall asleep faster and I have to say I have been sleeping better since taking it. It has been easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.

I have for years been with catnip in my diet, as tea, capsule (which often I open and put in tea, on rice, or anything, or straight), and this natures way is very very good. I have also had the Solary brand, which I think they mix with something, but do not tell. This Natures Way seems to be more whole and trustworthy. I've had frequent insomnia for as long as I can remember. Throughout the years I've taken lunesta, ambien, over the counter sleep aids (natural and chemical), even multibagged sleepytime tea. I would never take a habit-forming type of sleep-aid, so an OTC type is the alternative. Most do not work for me, but this one does. There are no side effects or after effects. I especially like that it has the proper amount of melatonin. You don't need large doses of melatonin for it to be helpful.

Spa Sister White Cotton Overnight Moisture Socks

This product served its purpose. I used them went I sat down or in bed. Therefore, I do not walk in them. From time to time, I will throw them in the washing machine to clean them out anyway. After a couple months, the white is no longer them. I try to blench them and it does not work. Well, they still serve the purpose but it just don't look at that attractive.

The socks don't go over my ankles & the shipping costs were the same as the price of the socks. Not worth it.

These Flexiroll curlers are not that soft and thus not that comfortable. I had a hard time sleeping with them and kept tossing and turning. I ended up throwing them away and going back to my curling iron. Sorry for the negative review, but I have to tell it like it is.
